I had the same error message after the update to 10.4
What helped for me was updating the WordPress version from 5.6.2 to the newest 5.7.
Now everything works fine.

I activated HTML optimization as well.
See this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/minify-javascript-and-css-errors/
I posted an answer there. Basically you need the plugin Autoptimize.
Just from my experience: If you disable it and nothing breaks, leave it disabled. Then you have built your website like it has to be according to Newspaper 10. When it is disabled, you have the speed advantage that comes with Newspaper 10.
The confusing part is that they advertise the Standard Pack as a Premium Plugin while it is just a necessary plugin if someone wants to keep the “old” websites alive, that were made with old Newspaper versions.
So just a weird move from the markting department 😉
I had the same issue. My hoster has its own cache with its own settings. After deactivate the option “same cache for all devices” it works fine for me.
Maybe your hoster has the same option.
Ok, I solved the problem. The links didn’t help at all for that. But I thought: Hey, when there is stuff to minify, why not use a plugin? I already used the plugin Merge + Minify + Refresh, but that doesn’t minify html. So I switched to Autoptimize. It minifies these inline style tags. Problem solved.
I made a new website with only the Default Pro Theme.
I did not change a thing.
The only plugins I installed are the required tagdiv ones (cloud library, composer, social counter, standard pack). The only two ever activated are cloud library and composer.
After sending it through GTmetrix it shows the error message about the inline again.
See report here: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/byjvza.myraidbox.de/utOhfpzK
So the error is on your side and can’t be avoided by using (at least) the Default Demo Pro.
If you want to have a look. The URl is http://byjvza.myraidbox.de
But as I said, this is a completely untouched Default Pro Demo.
I can’t do more from here on and will just hope that you find the time to fix that.
Thank you.
Do you have to add the phrase including the two slashes // ? Because in my file it is there, but without the two //.
I never used Yoast before so I can’t compare how it has to work.
Thank you.
Hallo,
I have the same issue. The information about the Standard Package are somewhat confusing.
What I understand from it is, that if I want a faster website, I have to deactivate the Standard Package.
But on your website it still sounds like a good-to-have plugin: “For this, we’ve added a premium legacy plugin called Standard Pack. It brings you all the previous functionality of the Newspaper Theme. When you deactivate it, your website gains page loading speed.”
So I deactivated it. Then everything looked broken. So I switched from a normal Demo to a Pro Demo and built everything new while using templates from the cloud library. Furthermore I only used Flex Blocks. I used templates for all the sites I can. Then I deactivated the Standard Package. And everything looks fine now on the website. But on GTMetrix I get the same message similar to the one in the first post: “There are xx components that can be minified as below
inline <style> tag #x
inline <style> tag #x
…”
The only thing I can imagine is the template for homepage because I did not change that one, because I assumed it already is Pro because I use a Pro Demo.
Therefore I tried to load a Pro template for “Homepage”. I still get the same problem with GTMetrix. So it is not the template from Homepage.
Then I used a Pro Header, because maybe it is the header I thought, so I sent it through GTMetrix. Only the header, nothing else. And still it shows the same message but with less components that can be minified.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your support.
Yes, it works because in the meantime I used a workaround. It is still a bug in the theme I think and maybe you want to fix that. But for me it is not important anymore.
Thank you.
Hallo Vlad,
did all of the above (deactivated all plugins except tagdiv, cleared cache). Problem still occurs.
It seems like the block designer made a mistake. The problem occurs if the title of the previous article is one row longer. Then the next article block doesn’t get placed below the previous one but on the right side of it where is more space (as you can see on the pictures above).
That should not happen because it makes the “Load More” option on the Flex Block 3 useless. Could you give this information to your design team? I think that would be good for the theme if that would be fixed.
I will make a workaround (use different blocks and so on) but for the future it would be good that this will be fixed.
Thanks.
Hallo Vlad,
I have updated to 10.1, but the error still occurs. No line under the links in the header sub menu. If you want to have a look: http://www.sciencenation.de
If you hover over “News”, the sub menu shows “Aktuell” and “Beliebt”. Style 1 works but Style 2 with the line doesn’t show anything.
Wordpress doesn’t show me that there is an update for the theme. Does that mean I have to go to the whole “deinstall old theme, then install new theme” process again? Or is there a quicker way?
Thank you. And great that you already fixed that. 🙂
Same problem here. After switching to X I can’t change the mobile theme logo anymore. I don’t have the “Logo for mobile” menu. Even when I select “no template”.
Nevermind. I had to activate the Standard Package.

Hallo Calin, thanks for testing with your mobile.
You have the same issue.
You see the responsive design and not the mobile theme on your mobile.
But the mobile theme is enabled on the start page.
How can I fix this?
Thank you
Hey Calin,
Could you check with your mobile phone? Because on my mobile phone it is not showing the mobile theme startpage. It starts showing the mobile theme as soon as I click on a category page. But not the homepage. The mobile theme is enabled on the startpage.
Thank you.
Sorry, I can’t see where I can edit posts.
Here is my user agent info, if that helps:
Your User Agent is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/13.0.3 Safari/605.1.15
Browser Information:
JavaScript Enabled: Yes
Cookies Enabled: Yes
Device Pixel Ratio: 1
Screen Resolution: 1366px x 768px
Browser Window Size: 1366px x 658px
Still an issue. Safari on my laptop still shows the mobile theme. Things I tried but didn’t help:
– I changed the user agent in the browser
– Cleared the cache
– Deleted all the cookies
That does not occur on my laptop with Firefox.
Other websites don’t show their mobile theme while I use Safari on the laptop.
Right now I cleared the cache at my hosting provider. I hope that helps. Could you check from your end if it shows the website correctly? Mobile Theme on phones and responsive on everything else? As soon as I get access to the tablet again I will check on my end.
As far as I know I don’t use any cache plugins. The only installed plugins I have are:
AMP (deactivated)
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Newsletter
tagDiv Social Counter
Hi Simion, thanks for checking. It is now activated again.
It even shows the mobile theme on my laptop with MacOS with the Safari Browser.
Hey Calin,
I used the arrows on this page. You can see the grey line on the left arrow.

Is there a solution to this problem? Because I have the same issue. The mobile theme header pushes the menu button and the search button to close to the logo. On the responsive design header, everything looks good. Exactly the same problem as you can see here: https://imgur.com/0eKnaO2
Is it possible to remove the big chunk of code in the post from gadget-freakz? If I do a search for helping posts in this forum I have to scroll past it every time and it is not a pleasure 😀
Thank you
