Theme Panel / Theme Colors / General Theme Colors / Theme Accent Color
This doesn’t seem to work for hyperlinks in my posts. Should it?
However, inserting this into Theme Panel / Custom Code / Custom CSS does:
.td-post-content a {
color: #e01919!important;}
Please confirm the above code is correct (or correct it) – I guessed it from modifying other hyperlink code. I want just to change the colour of hyperlinks in post content, nowhere else on the site.
Many thanks
Mark
Thanks, Chris – yes, suddenly thought html and search Google. Looks like the way.
I never knew that – thanks!
Many thanks – Stretch row and content and background boxed layout off does it.
Although – I’m not seeing Zone under Header Menu, only Rows, Columns, Elements.
Thanks – the only padding I see is in Elements – some on Meta info, Video (which I don’t use), Category tag – but no padding or margins in Row or Column.
When I select Stretch row and content in Row (in place of Default) the content below the header widens, but not to full width, as Town Talk etc.
However, how do I access padding/margin settings for Zone? I see Manager popup says “Open the zone manager” But I see there no settings for padding or margin, and a search gives nothing.
All good – thanks.
Ah – ok! No, just have bold headings using paragraph style. Will try that.
Thanks.
Something else – I have imported the Town Talk single template because I like the Table of Contents feature. But applied here – https://jazzjournal.co.uk/2024/08/20/jj-08-64-in-my-opinion-johnny-hodges/ the TOC doesn’t appear. I see it in Edit Template, but obviously I have to populate it. How do I do this?
Thanks – just sent.
Hi Anamaria, here below is the code that’s been added to Theme Panel / Custom Code / Custom CSS. Can you see what may be causing Block 9 to centre and not left-align?
Thanks
———
.td-review-summary .td-review-summary-content {
font-size: 16px;
}
.td-review-summary .block-title {
font-size: 14px;
}
.td-review .td-review-desc{
font-size: 16px;
}.wp-block-button {
margin-bottom: 15px;
}.post .wp-block-button.td_btn_large .wp-block-button__link {
font-weight: 500;
}
.post .wp-block-button.td_btn_large a:hover, .wp-block-button:not(.is-style-outline) .wp-block-button__link:hover {
background-color: #005d84!important;
}.td-post-sub-title { color:black;
}.post .wp-block-button.td_btn_large .wp-block-button__link {
font-weight: 500;
}
.page-id-11891 .entry-title{
display:none;
}
.td-md-is-os-x.td-md-is-firefox .text-font-fix p {
line-height:15px!important;
}
.td-post-content a {
text-decoration: underline!important;
text-decoration-color: #33963F !important;
color: black!important;}
Anamaria – can I get a cloud template sidebar into standard pack page? I think not, right? The whole page has to be cloud template page, right?
Thanks
MG
I’ll check that CSS.
But – how can I get a Flex Block into the sidebar? Only possible with Cloud Templates, which I can’t use easily because of conflict with my paywall plugin?
Thanks
MG
So Block 9 is broken, as it’s a legacy widget? I’m happy to use Flex Block, and prefer it, but I don’t see it as a widget in Appearance / Widgets, where I build my sidebars.
How can I get Flex Blocks into the sidebar?
Thanks
Mark
Thanks, Anamaria. I am using only Flex Blocks. For now I have found out that reducing the number of thumbnails on the site is dramatically reducing the number of files. I found I had numerous thumbs selected in my theme. I have turned most off and am regenerating thumbnails. So far, I have reduced the number from 261k to 197k and the regeneration process is only a third of the way through. So I should be fine for image capacity for some years!
Right – so an Apple problem, not one you can fix in Newspaper?
Thanks
MG
Thanks, Bettina – I tried 1500 x 689 on another similar pic and it comes out fine. I was just following what I thought was the standard – 1200 pixels max. I’ll have to adjust such deep pix in the future.
Best wishes
Mark
Thanks, Anamaria.
Many thanks – will ask the host.
Great! I must have forgotten to save at some point, then. Thanks
Ok – added it at Custom CSS, but as before (Sept 22) the URLs become completely unmarked. There is no permanent red underline. It only appears on hovering over the link. So no-one knows there’s a link until then. Maybe it’s just a problem with my site. I’ll send details to contact@tagdiv.com. Thanks.
Hi Bettina – catching up here – please remind me where this code goes?
Many thanks
Mark Gilbert
Hello Catalin – useful code for me too. But remind me where it goes?
Any chance of adding a command for this in theme panel?
In fact I would like Related Articles to show like this, just title, author and date, no image: https://jazzjournal.co.uk/category/reviews/audio-reviews/
(Like ARTICLE DISPLAY VIEW, M8)
But also with infinite loading below the post.
Possible?
Thanks
Difficult, because if I apply it all my links become invisible while I wait for your investigation. Or give me a 30-minute slot when I should do it and you can look? So that the links aren’t invisible for too long?
Thanks
Hi Bettina
That gives the same result as your Aug 30 code above – a red solid line, and only when you hover over the link.
Thanks
Many thanks, but this is giving a red solid line, and only when you hover over the link. Otherwise the link is unmarked. I need the line to be red, dotted and permanent.
