It worked. Thank you 🙂 ,
BDW, the line height which I asked about is not the line height of fonts. I was asking about broaden the the volume of the horizontal blue line placed below the title text… Have a look if you understood what I mean..
Thank you very much again 🙂

Anybody here to help please?
Let me recap the issue:
Suppose I search for term ” site:tomatoheart.com” under Google video search here :
and it gives no search result 🙁 even when you can see here that 170+ videos are already index by Google : http://i.imgur.com/9mQbCe3.png
Here is the search link: https://www.google.com/#q=site:tomatoheart.com&newwindow=1&tbm=vid
or https://www.google.com/search?tbm=vid&hl=en&source=hp&biw=&bih=&q=site%3A+tomatoheart.com&oq=site%3A+tomatoheart.com&gs_l=video-hp.3…10457.15544.0.15808.21.12.0.5.0.1.488.1301.3-1j2.3.0….0…1ac.1.34.video-hp..20.1.341.jonLWL6rst4#newwindow=1&hl=en&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
But If search it using this link: https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:reelseo.com#newwindow=1&safe=off&hl=en&tbs=sbd:1&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
It shows various indexed video on Tomatoheart.com under Google Video search as it actually should.
But, then why is this difference. What’s wrong with my usual way of searching? I don’t get any search results while I do the search . Please search for “Site:Tomatoheart.com” at your location under Google Video and see if you get any results.
PS: This has probably nothing to do with Newspaper theme but it’s a strange behaviour. Anybody wants to help me to understand this?
Thank you.

Hey Catalin,
I have updated the theme too using 7.3 to 7.4 patch and then used the mobile theme plugin and till now it’s working fine.
Thank you 🙂
Hi Bogdan..!
Thank you for this. It worked with few error. 🙂
In this line of code :
#2196F3!important;
It gives and error and it says ” EXPECTED RBRACE AT LINE 74 COL 1″ and because of this , the Title text is invisible. http://i.imgur.com/mcH6uBV.png
Please give the code one more look.
and please make the height of the line little more..and perhaps I can change the fonts, size and nature of title text from “Theme fonts setting panel. Right?
Thank you very much
Finally uploaded the old version of the td mobile theme ( that I had downloaded a month back) and hence everything is normal now.
One thing to note- I am still using Newsp[aper 7.3 , please let me know if why it would have happened.
Thank you.
Oops!
Well explained 🙂
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
Yes, I have disabled the date to display it on the post and after your explanation. I don’t think it’s any issue for me .
Thank you very much 🙂
Hey Chris,
Yes! Though, while reading a tutorial post http://tubularinsights.com/embedded-youtube-indexed-google/ , I found an example link
I changed the site to “site:tomatoheart.com” and noticed all video links are displaying well.
Here is the link for my search: https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:reelseo.com#newwindow=1&safe=off&hl=en&tbs=sbd:1&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
Is it due to google.co.in vs Google.com? But still, why wasn’t it showing during my normal search ?
But perhaps, I shouldn’t worry about it now.
Thank you coming here though.
-Nitesh
Hi Bogdan,
In continuation of my research on this. I noticed one weird thing.
Perhaps, none of YouTube embed videos are being displayed under “Google Video search” now. Even in the previous example that Allin spotted here: http://screencast.com/t/syfqbSqp , these videos are either Vimeo or Dailymotion embed.
Also checked search results for sites like Buzzfeed.com or storypick.com but couldn’t notice even a single YouTube embed video under ” Google video search” results.
Please make a quick test in your own way and let me know if you can find “Google video search” for YouTube embed video on any domain.
Thanks.
Hey Bogdan,
Thanks for the quick response.
Probably you didn’t understand my thread or haven’t clicked the “search link”I shared above. I am talking about “Google Video search”
Mean search item under video.google.com . Sadly there are no video showing under this. Please check this link again: https://www.google.co.in/search?q=site%3Atomatoheart.com&rlz=1C1GIWA_enIN627IN627&oq=site&aqs=chrome.1.69i60j69i59j69i57j69i60l3.2831j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=site:tomatoheart.com&newwindow=1&tbm=vid
or here is the screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/CAXzFeO.png Already shared the screenswhot of my content as well as video indexing under Google webmaster: http://i.imgur.com/9mQbCe3.png
I never experienced this before. In fact, we have also discussed about video seo here : https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/video-seo-issues-with-video-templates/ but this is for the first time, I am noticing not a single video out of 170+ indexed video on my site.
I am highly concerned about this. No sure or saying that it’s because of Newspaper theme but still it’s very frightening.
If you want to look inside the dashboard, please let me know. I will share the login credentials through mail.
Thank you.
It worked 🙂
Thank you.
Okay. Thank you 🙂
Sample Image screenshot link: https://i.snag.gy/gzcEG6.jpg if it’s not visible above.
Okay! I undersand. Thank you.
Though, since I want this styling only for smart list type-2 one thing I can do is to user normal post and style the numbers as it looks in smart list-2
So, can you provide me any shortcode or design code to get that same black box around numbers as we get in smart list?
I am talking about this:

If I can manage to create this or similar kind of box around number, it will be easy for me to create normal post as smart list. Thank you.
Thank you Bogdan for the quick response. I totally understand this and hence won’t ask to devote any time of that.
But two things.
1. Let’s make it centre then. I don’t know why , but your previous code doesn’t work now 🙁
2. Or simply disable my customisation code for smart lists, so that I can have “under the image”caption for smart lists and “over the image” customisation for normal posts.
Thank you.
Hey Bogdan,
Thank you.
I tried changing it’s positioning using tutorial given under http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_positioning.asp , position: relative is the most suited thing for it. but I don’t know why here under my example, it works like position: fixed.
As you mentioned
But there is a problem. Your images are not all the same size and the caption is positioned in a fixed position. It will display different based on the image size and proportions.
Why doesn’t it behave as it works under the simple post ( no smart list) ? for example here: https://tomatoheart.com/amardeep-singh/hidden-darker-reality-reliance-jio/ you can see with the code I written my first comment, the “image caption” always align itself with respect to the size and dimension of that particular why isn’t it possible with smart lists?
In fact, I remember how you have given me this code to align image caption in the bottom centre of each image under smart lists:
.td_smart_list_2 .td-sml-caption div{
position:relative;
top:-25px!important;
left:10px
}
.td_smart_list_2 img{
pointer-events:none;
}
.td_smart_list_2 .td-sml-caption div a{
color: #FFF !important;
background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.15)!important;
}
Please let me know if there is any possibility.
Thank you.

Hi Bogdan. Thank you for clearing this. 🙂
Thank you Andreo, Chrish and Nairolf 🙂
It worked wonderfully . The version query strings went out but it still appears in the Google Pagespeed Score. We all tried to solve this issue here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-speed-booster-not-removing-js-render-blocking-and-other-related-issue/page/2/ but it didn’t work.
Have you come up with any solution to that?
Yes. That actually are loaded in footer but probably having query strings at the end might be making it consider to optimise further. Can we remove the version numbers that appears after these CSS names?
Thank you.
And by the Andrei,
You missed one very important point, you checked the homepage but usually, Google or real people visit individual homepage quite often. And on the individual posts, the same .js and .css file ( One Akismet .js files and other 5 css file 2 from Google API and 3 from a tomatoheart plugin VC and style.CSS .
Have a look at the Google Pagespeed Insight for one of the post : http://tomatoheart.com/webjockey/facts-about-bb-ki-vines-bhuvan-bam/ at https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=tomatoheart.com%2Fwebjockey%2Ffacts-about-bb-ki-vines-bhuvan-bam%2F&tab=desktop
Here, mobile and desktop score is almost same: 66/68 ( Snapshot here: https://i.snag.gy/GEvA1z.jpg )
Render blocking Codes from Desktop are:
Remove render-blocking JavaScript:
http://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/akismet/_inc/form.js
Optimize CSS Delivery of the following:
http://domain.com/…in/public/css/facebook-login.css?ver=7.3
http://fonts.googleapis.com/…0,700|Amiri:400,700|Lora:400,700&ver=7.3
http://fonts.googleapis.com/…italic,700,900,500italic,400,300&ver=7.3
http:/domain.com/…r/assets/css/js_composer.min.css?ver=7.3
http://domain.com/…ntent/themes/Newspaper/style.css?ver=7.3
You can check it for any posts of my website and you will find the same thing. SO, the issue is not only with Mobile version.
You may want to look at it again.

Thank you Chris,
I will surely try to learn the steps that you has suggested above. I hope I have already moved the style.css to footer using speedbooster plugin ( or does actually moving mean something else?) and have probably de-enqueued from header using your code in fucntions.php . The only thing left is manually put crticial CSS in header.php using tools like https://jonassebastianohlsson.com/criticalpathcssgenerator/ . I am unaware of the steps to do so for now. But will surely learn from somewhere.
Thank you very much again 🙂
I get it and I hope there is nothing much we can do for it now No matter what plugin or code we use.
Thank you very much Andrei.
You may want to read this : https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/title-fonts-takes-time-to-load/ and this : https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-change-style-6-header-color-from-black-to-other-color-from-core/ to resolve your issues.
Cheers!
Hey Chris and nairolf,
It was midnight here and I slept so, couldn’t reply to both of you. Sorry 🙁
I am thankful to nairolf for putting efforts in trying to help me and give me the right direction. I was finally able to make speedbooster working by his help yesterday ( and also disabled one 301-redirection plugin by adding few codes in functions.php because of his motivation to use fewer plugins 🙂 )
Chris is my old fav and his detailed ( and many times witty! 🙂 ) tutorial has helped me a lot to optimize my website in the past.
Anyways, on this point,
I am not sure which codes under Chris’s codes are effecting the Query strings and should I try to change “10 to “101 or max” under this code:
function remove_cssjs_ver( $src ) {
if( strpos( $src, '?ver=' ) )
$src = remove_query_arg( 'ver', $src );
return $src;
}
add_filter( 'style_loader_src', 'remove_cssjs_ver', 10, 2 );
add_filter( 'script_loader_src', 'remove_cssjs_ver', 10, 2 );
or any other?
I also tried to add one code suggested by KEYCDN here: https://www.keycdn.com/support/remove-query-strings-from-static-resources/ Code is:
function _remove_script_version( $src ){
$parts = explode( '?ver', $src );
return $parts[0];
}
add_filter( 'script_loader_src', '_remove_script_version', 15, 1 );
add_filter( 'style_loader_src', '_remove_script_version', 15, 1 );
It didn’t work either .. perhaps for the same reason why Chri’s code didn’t work. May be I should try changing the number 15 to 200 or something?
For nairolf’s suspicion , I checked all other related plugins to see if any function is forcing the query strings behavior that we set in functions.php but couldn’t find anything. I am using itheme security plugin and here I have checked an option which says ” Replace jQuery version with safe version” ( see here: https://i.snag.gy/4SKTg3.jpg ) Previously my Jquery version was 1.12.4 or something but now it’s showing 1.11.1 . Just informing you if it’s the reason behind something.
Other thing I noticed under Yoast SEO, where I have checked “Remove the ?replytocom variables. ” option. Though it serves a different purpose but somehow related to these query thing.
Nairolf said somewhere above that “at least on Newspaper 7.4, is impossible to remove the query string with conventional functions for all resources.”
Then how did you finally removed these strings Nairolf or you didn’t ?
Can’t we move these CSS even with these query strings? And more immportantly, one very important point which you both missed from my previous comment that, after doing required modifications to speedbooster.php, I can actually see that Style.css, fonts and facbook login CSS etc have moved to footer ( Checked “View Source” page of my post on Google chrome) and when I removed JS modifications from speedbooster.php, I saw it coming up on the “view source code”
If sppedbooster were not working with these CSS files, why it would have moved these files from top to footer. The main question is “why it still appears on Google Pagespeed score? ”
Or perhaps it is appearing GPS because GPS is suggesting to remove these query strings and not raising any flag over whether it has been moved to footer or not?
PS: I can understand that tt can be really big tough to deal with a non-progrmmer like me but let me assure you that I do things carefully and I can be instructed very well 🙂
Thank you.

Perhaps yes. I am using following optimisation code created by Chris in functions.php
/** CUSTOM OPTIM CODE : by Christopher Simmons - REV 8.17.16 */
// Remove jQuery Migrate Script from header and Load jQuery from Google API

add_filter( 'script_loader_src', 'remove_cssjs_ver', 10, 2 );

wp_deregister_script( 'comment-reply' );
}
add_action('init','chrisbunny_clean_header_hook');
/** End Christopher's magic bunny code; Copr. (c) 2013-2016 CLS */
But it’s a good thing. right? but why are we still having query strings under these CSS files? Should I not remove query starings using codes in functions.php? How can I remove quesries from these internal ( and one eternal files too )?
What should I do to resolve this issue? Can you suggest something?
Thank you
