Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme hasn’t been tested with the Polylang plugin, so our knowledge of how it should be set up and function together is quite limited.
For multilingual setups, our theme has been tested with WPML. With this plugin, the correct approach is to create a separate page for each language. On each page, you can configure individual settings to display content related to the selected category. One important aspect is ensuring that you have categories created for all languages and that they are properly assigned.
We also recommend reviewing the Polylang documentation, as it provides useful guidance on how to achieve this setup:(https://polylang.pro/documentation/support/guides/)

Thank you.

Hi,
This issue usually occurs when the responsive version is not being used and a mobile template is assigned instead.
Please check while logged in to a category whether a mobile template is assigned (https://i.imgur.com/2OXOth3.png). If there is one, please remove it by selecting “No mobile template” (https://i.imgur.com/r3l7SMA.png).

Hi,
The color is applied to the row as a background. To change or remove it, select the row in tagDiv Composer, go to the CSS tab, and adjust the background color or image there:

To modify the caption text color, open the image element and use the CSS tab:

For the call-to-action element, I’ll need either a screenshot or a link to better understand the setup, along with details about how you want the text formatted. If you’re using the WordPress editor, you can simply select the text and apply bold formatting:

If it’s not using the WordPress editor, you may need to use HTML tags instead:

Hi,
This happens because the single post template assigned to your articles does not include the comments element. However, you can easily add it using tagDiv Composer.
Please edit the single post template (https://i.imgur.com/SA3sEAC.png), navigate to the section where you want the comments to appear, and from the left sidebar search for the “Single Post Comments” element. Drag and drop it into the desired location (https://i.imgur.com/0kNTuXR.png). Once done, save the settings (https://i.imgur.com/2EuHs9B.png).
Additionally, I recommend disabling the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. You can also disable AMP, or alternatively use the tagDiv Mobile Theme only for AMP https://i.imgur.com/MM0crTS.png . If you choose the latter, make sure the “Redirect mobile visitors to AMP” option is disabled in the AMP https://i.imgur.com/GM5tzuM.png plugin settings. This will help you maintain the same layout on mobile as on desktop.
Thank you!

Hi ygknews2020,
After updating the theme, please make sure that all required theme plugins are uploaded and installed, usually tagDiv Composer, and possibly tagDiv Cloud Library or tagDiv Standard Pack.
With tagDiv Composer, you can edit pages created using this builder, as well as manage cloud templates from the tagDiv Cloud Library.
Also, if you already have a version of tagDiv Composer installed, try deleting it and reinstalling it from Newspaper > Plugins. Finally, make sure the theme is activated and that the license key is assigned to your domain under Newspaper > My License.
Thank you!

Hi,
I’m glad you were able to figure it out!
If you have any other questions related to the theme, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Hi,

I’ve just checked the element, and it now has a link set that points to: https://opinandosinanestesia.es/podcast/mujeres-al-frente-de-la-hematologia-retos-y-futuro-en-cancer/

It looks like you were able to resolve the issue with the link in the end. Out of curiosity, what was causing the problem?

Thanks

Calin

Hi,
Please disable and remove the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, and switch to using the theme’s responsive version instead. This should resolve the issue.
Thank you!

Hi,

The tagDiv Mobile theme plugin is quite limited and offers only a small set of options. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include a feature to exclude categories. You can only select a single category, specify the number of items, and choose a basic sorting method such as latest or random. The “popular (all time)” option is also available, but it may consume additional resources.

Thankyou!

Hi,
The block filters will apply to all viewports, so if you want to have different content on mobile, you should consider using the mobile page option https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
What you need to know is that, on the mobile page, the cache plugin should support creating separate caches for desktop and mobile.

Hi,

This situation usually occurs after a theme update when not all required theme plugins are installed, enabled, or updated. All plugins that were used before the update should also be updated and activated.

Please go to Newspaper > Plugins and make sure that tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and tagDiv Opt-In Builder are installed, updated, and enabled.

Thank you!

Hi,
This could be happening in more situations, but the most of common situations are when an extra plugin is interfering (it can be checked when you want to do a theme update, disable all plugins except the theme plugins), custom code added on the site or/and custom restrictions from the host.
Thank you!

Hi,
When WPML is used with our theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/ the cloud template will be displayed for the language that has been imported, to display it for other languages, you need to duplicate it for that language and after that, edit the text in that language with tagDiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/fd9AonW.png https://i.imgur.com/DPOXyzs.png https://i.imgur.com/SM7h0xa.png

Hi,
Yes, this can be done. What you need to do is to add some extra custom fields in acf, for example, https://prnt.sc/WUdafD98di1v. Edit the template and select teh custom fields. There, paste in url field the field name like this {cf_} in this case, it will be {cf_url_for_founded_in} https://i.imgur.com/DsbJs5d.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
Since November 14th, there have been two updates, so it’s possible that the issues you’re experiencing are not related to theme updates.
If you’re referring to checking the code on that specific line, it appears to be related to HTML containing a link to an image.
If you’re able to set up a staging environment and provide us with wp-admin and staging access, we’d be happy to take a closer look. When those are set, you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!

Hi,
Whenever a potential vulnerability is reported, we forward it to our developers for review. They investigate each case, and if it is confirmed to be a theme-related issue, it is addressed and fixed in a future update.
I have also reported this to our developers, and they will review it.

Hi,
Check if you are using ajax pagination, mega menu, and many blocks (the theme is making a query for each block in parts, and if you are using mega menu, each element as mega menu makes queries, also ajax pagination makes queries to the database). Also, make sure that you use lazyload for images.
Other type of settings that can reduce the numbers of queries: use a good cache plugin WP Rocket, use object cache (redis), and use flex block cache – https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/ (with will reduce the number of request instead of a request for each page load for each flex block, this request will be only after 5-10 minutes for that flex block, it depends on the time set)
In addition, it’s a good idea to identify what’s consuming your server resources. Tools like Query Monitorhttps://www.superspeedyplugins.com/kb/performance-optimization/site-owner-tips/how-to-use-query-monitor-to-analyse-wordpress-performance-problems/ and Code Profiler can help you pinpoint high CPU or resource usage caused by plugins, themes, or database queries.
Thank you!

Hi,
I just checked your website, and it appears that you still have the signing on mobile on some pages and articles, so this is the problem (most likely, those are not even protected with reCAPTCHA https://prnt.sc/dK_CRlHv1fuH since you believe it is disabled on the site https://i.imgur.com/Y1oqLsJ.pnghttps://prnt.sc/A39SBfzgOQcfhttps://prnt.sc/7V6Yyr4LLNxr). It is possible that you disabled the theme panel options recently, if so, please clear all cache and purchase the CDN.
Thank you!

Hi,
Thanks for creating this testing page, now I will need one more thing, I need to have on the block with featured images and articles that do not have a featured image, so I can compare the structure you created and how it is with an image and without the image.
Thank you!

Hi,
Ok, for this you need to edit the page that is assigned to that tab (that tab has 2 pages assigned; if you click on it, you’ll see the 2 pages with an ID for each and the name of the tab – https://i.imgur.com/dj5puSu.png ). Now you need to open the page that contains the ID for Overview with tagDiv Composer (I believe the name of the page from the demo is “Company CPT Template – Overview”), and on that page you can make the edits for the technology taxonomy: https://i.imgur.com/jZBIsbY.png

Thank you!

Hi,
Could you please provide some screenshots? Is this happening on mobile or desktop? Do you have the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin enabled? If so, please disable the plugin, clear teh cache, and try again.
Thank you!

Hi,
Could you please let me know if you are using the last theme version, Newspapr v12.7.5?
I checked the code in the last version and I do not see anything that should create that warning.

Hi,
Could you please share a link to your website?
Also, are you using the tagDiv Opt-in Builder plugin? If registration is not required on your site, please make sure the “Enable user registration” option is disabled https://prnt.sc/OMd_j0Ih11cl
Additionally, I recommend using tools like Wordfence and Cloudflare to help protect your site and prevent bots from accessing it.
Also, make sure that teh theme panel options are disabled – https://prnt.sc/DELlr2jMPO5e
