Over the past year this has happened and I’ve done everything I could think of to make it right. The difference in earnings, when I activate Newspaper, is enough to cause big concern.

I really want to be able to use Newspaper but not if this is happening.

BTW, I should add that I’ve looked at the pages through various browsers, displays and all and I can see all the ads. Just in case that question comes up.

I’m trying to get this to work with either Events Calendar or the All in One Calendar.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case at all.
As mentioned, it’s just so strange that I see the edit CPT template button at top and I see the changes I made to that template. But they’re just not reflected in the actual page. 🙁

Frustrating since it’s such an important feature for me to have and yet I can’t get it done.

Yeah, that I’m already familiar with.
So, I’m guessing that this works only with a newly created CPT and not something from say, a calendar plugin like Modern Events or New Events Calendar.
Would that be correct?

Okay, nevermind. I’ll post again in the future concerning this.
After screwing around with the Theme Panel, I see how the CPT is actually being affected by the Custom Post Type Template I worked on from your cloud.

It’s imperfect but I’ll keep playing around to see how far I can get.

But yes, I know that Newspaper works with these plugins. It’s worked very well with Timely’s All in One Calendar for years.

My question revolves around what you people are now offering as a solution for Custom Post Types. Stating that the theme now allows for the creation for Cloud Templates in that regard.

I tried doing it with the All in One Calendar and I don’t see any results whatsoever. Your instructions on how to make it work are lacking.

I switched to 9.7.4 which I had laying around.

Will test things out for a couple days or so.

Yeah it was 10.2 but then I noticed my max_execution_time and max_input_vars were below where they were before…due to my recently switching to PHP 7.3 from 7.2

Might that have been it?

below is a screenshot of my cpt. It’s an event page from All In One Calendar.

When selecting a footer page, That circled part ends up repeating itself just above the footer as if it’s part of the footer. I say that since it spans the entire page (stretched across the width just like the footer).

As a solution, instead of choosing a global footer, I created one within my cloud template and then used CSS to hide your “© Newspaper WordPress Theme by TagDiv” that appears at the bottom of my CPT pages.

BUT, it’d be nice if the above problem was fixable.

yes, I’m aware of how they need to be shorter. No matter what I do I can’t get them to be sticky. A Full Column, yes. It works fine.
BUT, a sticky column? No.

I deactivated all other plugins to test and still nothing.

Hi, just to throw in my 5 cents,

I’d LOVE for this feature myself as well.

One application/’method of use’ would be to have the top sticky widget for an adsense ad and the rest sticky for whatever one wishes. This way Google’s rules are obeyed. Really a great idea for it methinks.
