Hi, i’m still struggling with my issue but maybe i got some new things to work on…
at the moment i’ve created from the composer 2 MOBILE HOMEPAGES..
1. Mobile MT, which is the one i wanna use for real as mobile
2. Homepage Mobile – Magazine PRO … created just for tests
The thing i know for sure is that both are ignored, even if i select from my homepage topbar one of them… they just don’t work, browser are not loading them.
But the new thing i noticed is that if i go in Pages’s menu and edit the Mobile MT page, i see it points the link at “/mobile”
You can see here: https://ibb.co/ZKbstzR
so if with a mobile browser i go to:
https://www.mytechnology.eu/ mobile page will not load
https://www.mytechnology.eu/mobile mobile page will load perfectly
So where is the connection that i’m missing?
Ok i got where it is picking my homepage and it is HERE: https://ibb.co/31v0QKs
How can i tell him to ignore the layout i see here in the wordpress appearance menù and consider instead my Mobile composer homepage?
even if i try surfing it from a mobile browser i never used (Brave)… it loads the wrong mobile page.
i also deleted cloudflare cache or tried to set it in developer mode
As you can see from the link it’s not even installed.
The weird thing is that once i decided to improve the mobile experience this is what i did:
– deactivate mobile plugin (i chosed to stay with the composer versione)
– enable the mobile homepage and customized some of others mobile pages from cloud templates panel
– i noticed that on the homepage there was i persisten call back to the wrong logo but i found it was linked in the mobile page composer settings
– tested out with different browser/PCs/smartphones and after cache cleaning ext. … and everything was looking good
– then after some days of rest, i noticed the bad logo and posts again.
i don’t get why it does not appear as i can see the mobile page in the composer. This is what i see from my desktop, the “Mobile” page in green is the one that looks good in the composer:
forgot to say the good one should be the one on the left
ahahaha i loved to debug menu appearing, i had no cloud of this.
Ok thanks!
There is a limit that you can set to revert back the settings https://i.imgur.com/Riz0x9H.png
if i want to try to ONLY change from 5 to 3 (no idea if this helps me to reduce autoloaded and persistent objects) the number of backup what should i “hit” to save it?
“import theme settings” ?
Sounds like a dumb question but like this seems i will import a blank page of theme settings
i’ve been reading a lot of articles about database optimization, problem is that a blog started in 2007 has stored so much garbage from plugins that once uninstalled they leave stuff in it

i have probably found the issue: somehow tagdiv cloud library was not installed, that was causing the loading error and i don’t know why was causing the license key error too…
once i activated it everything went back to normal.
i tried to reset the license key following your procedure but it seems nothing changed and i still get this page:

i’ve been using newsmag/newspaper for years but i never had this kind of issue…
actually i did set autoload to NO for td_011 using Advanced DB Cleaner plugin. Not sure it was the right procedure.
I just filtered out the value, and switched to what was found
Hi again,
did a few tests in the last days (disabling plugins, reuploading old database backups, ext-.), i solved some issues but there’s something which is not clear to me about the td_011_remote_cache stored in wp_option.
What i don’t understand is why it multiply to infinite… this seems to take my site to slow down because as soon as i delete those lines with this command:
DELETE FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE ‘td_011_remote_cache’;
my database is going from almost 300 Mb to 106 Mb (after optimizing wp_option) and the wordpress backend is loading way faster with all options in the post editor.
So, is it really needed all these lines?
i’ve two similar issue, one with td_011_remote_cache and one with transients of cloudflare’s plugin. But the backend goes back to normal only when i delete td_011
the difference i noticed between them is that td_011 has Autoload ON, and cloudflare transient don’t.
ok thanks… nice to know it.
1. Ok thanks, issue nr. 1 solved with your hint.
2. Concerning issue nr.2 i decided to leave it as default.
I found where to modify in composer (Summary box -> General Tab -> Box padding by adding a 3rd px dimension) in order to align the two boxes but i noticed that the behaviour changes depending on the kind of overall score (if it has 2 digits it appears in a way, if it has 3 digits with comma it appears in a total different way). So default is probably a better option.
I’m saying this in case maybe someone else is looking for this kind of solution.
Thanks.
Note: the second issue, the border line alignment, if it is a problem of “number of lines written in the summary” then ok, make as if problem is solved.
But if instead there is a way to make them look always perfectly aligned i would like to know how.

Hi Bettina,
i’ll try to explain with screenshots.
So the original layout you show is this one: Newsmag Star review original layout
The one i was able to configure looks like this: MT star review layout
So you can clearly see in my layout there is some white blank space between star score and summary/overall score
AND
Summary’s bottom border line is not perfectly aligned with overall score’s border line. Ref1 and Ref2 of previous post
I can show you how it looks my review system in composer:
Star review system in composer
What i was asking is to make it looks exactly as you demo page which is how it used to look before when i was using Newsmag theme.
Thanks. Hope it helped.

As promised, i did the switch. Was quite easy fortunately but i guess years of newsmag makes some kind of DNA.
One last question… i’m playing a bit with theme layout to search the one i like the most: at the moment i’m using default pro, i tried to load magazine pro but there was some kind of error and composer was not available so i went back to default pro but i had to rebuild the whole homepage with the composer.
Is there a way so “save” for example MY “default pro” layout (i mean settings for articles block sorting and everything that actually makes my homepage) so that if something goes wrong with new layout i dont have to lose time to rebuild the previous again?
May restoring a previously saved mysql backup do the job?
Thanks.

Ok thanks Calin,
yes that will be a nice starting point. When i’ll have some spare time i would probably make the switch!
Thanks!
Paolo
i might have solved by disabling jetpack lazy load as you suggested in the other video thumbnail issue. 2 problems, one solution.
quality now is as it is intended to be.
That’s why… worked out perfectly. Thank You!
Same problem here.
Just updated today and immediately stopped working.
From what i see: now i have stopped cache plugin and cancelled Chrome cache and the website LOADS FINE WHEN LOGGED OUT but stop loading thumbes WHEN LOGGED IN.
Maybe thats why staff cannot experience the bug.
But this is with both plugin and browser cache disabled..
you are probably right, that was the problem. I though i avoided the caching by loading from a different browser but probably not.
So problem solved for me. thx!
Hello Simion, i installed the new version you just linked but my counter is still zero
you can see it at MyTechnology
it seems i resolved restoring monday’s SQL backup.
Do you think plugins like Wordfence really do the job? i deactivated it only a few days before in order to try to fasten up the server response and seeing happening something like this makes me suspicious
how is that possible? it is not loading any background, top logo and top menu
