If you add a smaller image, for a specific post, than the container you will need to use a plugin like Christopher suggested to enlarge it or you can also do it via css. I have checked your site trying to recreate this using an galaxy s4 and others and didn’t found any issue like the one you have mentioned.
Do you still have this issue?
Please let me know! If you still have this issue please try to deactivate all plugins and check again for this as this may be due to a plugin’s css which may overwrite the theme’s css.

Unfortunately you can’t set this layout for your latest articles section as even settings it at full layout you will get posts to be displayed on 3 columns at this is the basic layout of theme’s grid.

If still doesn’t start working please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com specifying this in your subject and we will send you the fixed version of this plugin as we had some issue with it and we managed to fix them but the new version of this plugin won’t be available until next theme update.

1. For your first issue you could try resetting your permalinks and you can do that just by re saving your permalink structure.

2. When you add an image WordPress automatically creates a thumb for each module the theme uses so, besides WordPress’s, we have added new image sizes in functions file.
So that the cropping function doesn’t affect much of your added images you need to upload an image appropriate in aspect ration to the thumb you plan to use it for.

3. As Christopher wrote you can change the comments settings from WordPress Dashboard Settings > Discussion.
