Hi,

I’ve checked your site and found that you use the normal slider on your homepage for which you can change the title excerpt from here: http://screencast.com/t/vNf7AknffP86
For the big slider you can use the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/zvhuEyXz3
We will also plan to add an option for settings the excerpt on normal slide also in next theme updates.

Thanks

Hi,

The theme doesn’t have an option for that and you will need additional customization for it as it’s not easy. Unfortunately we cannot offer any custom work at this time as we work hard on development, updates, fixes, and support so you would have to get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks Chris!

@Luciferbui

I have checked your homepage page source and seems that you have an description meta tag now: http://screencast.com/t/LUKKduF1VEW and the google webmaster tool preview shows your homepage description: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fbizzaviet.com%2F
I suggest you give it some time to update then check again.

Thanks

Hi,

I can’t offer you an exact answer on this. Could you please give us wp-admin and FTP access so we can also check this or just send us your errorlog file as it should show what went wrong.
Please use our email address for this: contact@tagdiv.com and also provide more details about this issue you have so we can recreate it.
Also include a link tot his tread.

Hi,

Try to expand the ad container using a css like the one I’ve pasted below and adjust it as you like:

.header-content-rec .td-g-rec-id-header, .header-content-rec .td-a-rec-id-header {
height: 120px;
}

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

I have checked your site but couldn’t noticed the issue you describe, all fonts’ I’ve checked are rendered as they should. Could you please provide more details about this and also make sure that you check this without any plugins active, just the Visual Composer and also empty cache if you use any cache plugins.
Please also let me know on which web browser you’ve experienced this behavior.

Thanks

Hi,

Looks like the server response time is the main issue, I also see it when checking your site with google’s pagespeed insights tool: http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=www.toppcnews.com&tab=desktop
You could also follow their documentation for the server response time and their recommendations: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/Server
Regarding the minify option, please note that the theme doesn’t recommend using that option as it could cause issues like the one you describe however you can track the script that breaks when you minify it and use the option to ignore the part of the js which cases issues, like this one in W3TC: http://screencast.com/t/zHQtDRkKd
Also consider that the theme already uses a minfied version of theme js when using the speed booster plugin so you wont need additional minification options.
Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks Chris!

@WriterChicky
Have you managed to solve this as I have checked your site and seems that the view counter works now, both on your homepage and posts too. Please note though that I have tested this by downloading the page every time to avoid cache because as Christopher noted above the post counter doesn’t work with cache.
The ajax post view option was added from version 4.2 of the theme: http://screencast.com/t/h7anh3o2 so if you are not using a theme version newer than 4.2 and want to use the counter and cache also I suggest you update your theme to the latest version then activate the option from theme panel > post settings: http://screencast.com/t/dEasrZOoB then check again.
Use this guide to update the theme and the FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Use this guide to update the VC plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/

Hi,

We aren’t aware of this and I also don’t believe that we are facing a bug hare because as you can also find if you check our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ the theme looks good on IE7 to 11 browsers.
I also noticed this server error when checking your site on Firefox browser(latest version) so this might also be due to your server. I suggest you also contact your host provider and let them now about this: http://screencast.com/t/0YCFnK627
I suggest you also try to check this without any plugins active, lave just Visual Composer plugin active and also make sure you empty cache and/or purge files if you use CDN host services.
Try this and let me know how it goes!

Thanks

Hi,

Try this custom css, add it in theme panel > custom css filed: http://screencast.com/t/Pyx8lRcnJ89z

.td-grid-wrap {
padding: 0px 13px 0px 13px;
}

Hi,

Unfortunately we don’t plan at the moment to change the looks of the menu so I can only let you know that we will consider this for future updates.
The snap menu uses a different class which can be used to style it as you like: http://screencast.com/t/aciqoyhWFrJ
You can hire a freelancer to do this for you if you don’t have any html/css knowledge.
I believe you can also use a plugin for this but I can’t recommend you any as we haven tested any plugin of this type.

Thanks

Lucian

Hi,

Unfortunately I can’t offer you an exact answer on this as we haven’t made any tests with this plugin so I can’t guarantee it will work fine with the theme.
The plugin which was initially tested and offered as solution for adding multilingual content and translation support it was qTranslate but since it hasn’t been updated we haven’t tested it recently. As an alternative, you can use the qTranslate X plugin which is a descendant of qTranslate, which has apparently been abandoned by the original author.
You can also give it a try, test it and see how it works and device after if you can use it or not.
You can also post here your results or conclusions so that other could benefit from your experience using this plugin.
Sorry for the incontinence!

Thanks

Hi,

td_menu.php file can’t be edited using the child theme so if you want to do this you need to edit the main theme files: https://forum.tagdiv.com/child-theme-documentation-newsmag/

Hi,

Please provide more details about the issue you have or send a screenshot as I can’t access your site so I can’t offer you an answer.

Hi,

1. The theme is built based on a 3 column grid layout so a full width page will use all three columns.
2. You can add a custom css class to the row you don’t want on mobile screens, like this: http://screencast.com/t/7f8qM2Xap3 then use it to hide that row on mobiles using the class you added.
ex:

.hide_on_mobile {
display: none;
}

3. I don’t think so also. You have three types of pagination on blocks: http://screencast.com/t/sdTcb1Uh

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Please try this custom css:

@media (width: 768px) {
.woocommerce ul.products li.product,
.woocommerce-page ul.products li.product {
clear: none;
}
.woocommerce ul.products li.product,
.woocommerce-page ul.products li.product {
clear: none;
}
.woocommerce ul.products li.product.first {
clear: left !important;
}
.woocommerce-page div.product div.summary {
float: right;
}
.woocommerce-page div.product div.images {
float: left;
}
}

We have also included this fix in the next theme update which will be available soon so you can also update the theme.

Thanks

Hi,

Please let me know what version of safari browser you use as I have tested this and haven’t found any issues and the theme was tested and designed to work on safari browsers.
Please do not use the Safari version for Windows as this was abandoned in 2012 and does not support the latest web tech.

Thanks
