Hi,

I have inspected your site and seems that you are right, the post excerpt which is not added causes the post images to come one after another because they are set via css to float to left.
Please also try this without plugins to make sure that this is not due to any of them and also empty cache, purge files then try again.
Also please try to ad the same post content in the visual editor then save your post and try if this still happens.
You can also use this css to fix this:

.td_module_11 .td-module-thumb {
clear: both;
}

.td_module_11 {
min-height: 220px;
}

Please let me know!

Thanks

Hi Chris!

You can also add this: http://screencast.com/t/iCseqqy4

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.woocommerce #payment div.payment_box, .woocommerce-page #payment div.payment_box{
width: 65% !important;
}
}

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

You need to go to categories panel here: http://screencast.com/t/VAojTzWySdWW and you can managed them as you do for posts: http://codex.wordpress.org/Manage_Categories_SubPanel

Thanks

Hi,

Having it enabled from theme panel should show it on post pages: http://screencast.com/t/Hhvcz45upixb so please make sure that you have it enabled then empty cache, purge files if you use any CDN host services then try again and also disable all plugins, js/css/html minification.
Also try to remove this condition from post template: http://screencast.com/t/3TPPs6Q7N TYhis is for the default post template for other post template you need to edit other files: http://screencast.com/t/9jTzrTbXiS
Please let me know afterwards!

Hi,

1. The ad could also be blocked, this will also show up in your browser console if you check it.
This troubleshooter could also help: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1208336?hl=en

2. Please also test the embedded code on a WordPress default theme and also check it without any plugins active, empty cache and purge files if you use CDN.
Please let me know how it goes!

Thanks

Hi,

Please also try this without any plugins active, leave just the Visual Composer plugin active then check again. If you have this issue please use contact@tagdiv.com to give us wp-access and send you login details and also provide an URL to this tread or specify your issue in details.

Thanks

Hi,

I have also tested this and seems that it’s happening because of image’s max-width attribute which is set to 100%. I have made some tests and seems that setting this value to none fixes this so please use the custom css I’ve pasted below in theme panel > custom css filed and let me know if you still have this issue afterwards and also provide your site’s URL so I can check.

.td-post-featured-image img {
max-width: none;
}

Thanks

Hi,

You can exclude categories by using the category ID with minus like this: http://screencast.com/t/AhOz3zaAiE
You can find the category ID’s here: http://screencast.com/t/kKVTLxSCa

Hi,

Unfortunately theta is not possible without custom modifications as the sidebar’s width is determined by theme’s grid which can’t be modified.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

The link problem you have occurs when using the Yoast Google Analytics plugin, which i noticed you also use: http://screencast.com/t/voyzRDysdi
We know about this and we are trying to fix this but unfortunately is more difficult than we initially tooth. You can disable this option from Yoast Google Analytics general settings, will fix the issue with the links: http://screencast.com/t/LRV9LlBn3 or you can also use our own Google analytics support (just paste the code in our admin): http://screencast.com/t/EtxOCuXlspj

Hi,

I understand now, thanks!
This section is the latest articles section: http://screencast.com/t/unwmUanX4oZz and it is added to your page automatically when you set the homepage with articles list template: http://screencast.com/t/rPJgIJ4D
To remove it you just have to change the template to the default page template.
If you refer just to the title, you can hide from here: http://screencast.com/t/7wc4IdtSwkA
Hope this helps! Please let me know!

Thanks

Hi,

You can edit and modify the author template here: http://screencast.com/t/hRoicDcQ8
Unfortunately you would need custom work for it or you can also try to find and use a plugin for that or get someone to help you with this as unfortunately we cannot offer custom work because we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. You can always get a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
You can find more info about author templates here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Author_Templates
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi,

I see you use newsmag theme while this is for newspaper theme. Try to change the post content class like this: http://screencast.com/t/t6801NVB and also make sure you add the enqueue script function in the functions file: http://screencast.com/t/wibhUnZ1u

Hi,

Thanks Chris!

@press15

Regarding your first menu questions please note that is the way the mega menu works and was designed and to change as you’ve noted and need, you will need additional customization which are not easy to be done and you would need custom work for that.
You could try to do this by creating a new category and assign the posts you want to it then add it to the menu, assign it to use mega menu the add your custom url which directs it to the page you want in the label filed, like this: http://screencast.com/t/yy4WjpW1U
Into the menu you will also have generated the default anchor tag will the category url but you can remove it via css just for that specific menu item and have it look like this: http://screencast.com/t/I0UTFKTA
It’d not an ideal solution but could help you do this.
Regarding your other menu question, the menu items can be added to the menu then use the unique css class that was added to each menu item you create and hide it via custom css and display it just on pages you want it to appear.
Ex: http://screencast.com/t/tQfsY85DULLi
You can use your browser inspect toll to get the menu item unique class: http://screencast.com/t/GXbtsLKu4OC
Fore the images, Chris is right, the theme uses WordPress cropping so I suggest you try it’s solution.
You can also find more info about the image size fucntion here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size

Hi,

The “header’s” aren’t missing you just need to create categories for your forums. The forums we have on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/forums/ are grouped in two categories: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/forums/
Make sure that you also create a category and assign some forums to it an check again: http://screencast.com/t/RE7enJ0ez
This guide might help you create a forum category: http://codex.bbpress.org/getting-started-with-bbpress/

Hi,

Using the theme right should solve your issue and the post already uses the feature video for all thumbs, big slider also. The video is added inside the post but an feature image is also used: http://screencast.com/t/rnLRSaOt
I suggest you disable all plugisn, empty cache, purge files then edit that post remove the image then set another one, beast will be to upload a new image then check again. After doing this set the video url back to it and update the post.
Also try to test this using another video url and create anew post to check how it behaves.
Please let me know!

Thanks

Hi,

I believe Chris is working at this for it’s own use and unfortunately I can’t help you with this as we haven’t tested this plugin with any of the themes and unfortunately we aren’t planning too also, so I suggest you get a developer to do this for you.
Unfortunately I’m not aware of what this plugin dose and why it need integration within the theme so I can’t point you in any direction at this point.
The ads are rendered and shortcodes are generated here: http://screencast.com/t/TaE0FyEPBZ
Hope this helps!

Thanks

Hi,

I believe that the issue is because you use MicrosoftSQL instead on MySQL and I’m not sure if the plugins works whit your host.
The revolution slider is not a required plugin, it’s optional and you decide if you want to use it or not.

Thanks

Hi,

For example for post template 3 you can use this css to change attribute values or add animations, hover effects: http://screencast.com/t/149APqTeyJ

.single_template_3 .td-post-featured-image img:hover {
max-width: 90%;
margin-left: 53px;
}

.single_template_3 .td-post-header-full h1:hover {
color: red;
font-size: 50px;
line-height: 50px;
}

You can find online tutorials related to this. Here are some css hover effects for example: http://www.corelangs.com/css/box/hover.html or http://designshack.net/articles/css/joshuajohnson-2/

Thanks

Hi,

The Background click ad only allows you to open a url when you click the background. Make sure that you have set this right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ “Background click ad” section.
Also make sure you go to BACKGROUND tab and uncheck STRETCH BACKGROUND option, for Background Click Ad to work.
I have also tested this and worked fine configured like noted in the documentation.

Thanks

Hi,

I have checked yours site and also noticed the slow functionality of search feature and that it’s also not working. I’m not sure about this as this should work fine as I have also tested this and found no issues with it.
Please also make sure you update your VC plugin, you are now using the 4.3.4 version and the version we have included with the latest theme version(4.6.1) is 4.3.5.
I also suggest to check this without any plugins active, leaving just the Visual Composer plugin active, as this could happen due to other plugins which you use.
Please use this guide to update the Visual Composer plugin and upload the plugin from the /plugins folder which was provided with the theme files: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
There is no option to disable search only if you edit this file an remove it’s code like this:

* http://screencast.com/t/B7a7kAoA4EQ
* http://screencast.com/t/x9yeu6aN2UrC

Regarding the rev slider issues please make sure that you remove the current plugin that you have and install it from the plugins folder of the theme files.
Also noticed that you are not using MySQL but Microsoft SQL which I’m not sure that is compatible with revolution slider plugins and send this error. Have you used this plugin before on this host?
Please let me know how it goes!

Thanks
