I have the same problem. Resetting key and entry of a new one dowsn’t work due to API server is down.
The changing of ma page and mentioning “pirating” is absolutely outrageous.
This is unprofessional!

Correction: Yoast is doing fine with every theme, newspaper theme is the problem.

I updated to 15.9.1, but problem persists.
If Yoast cannot handle the problem, I will cancel my premium subscription and change to Rankmath.

The solution is:

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard. On the left-hand side menu, click on ‘SEO’.
The ‘SEO’ settings will expand providing you additional options. Click on ‘Search Appearance’.
2. Click on the ‘Archives’ tab.
3. Toggle the ‘Author archives’ switch to ‘Enabled’.
4. Click ‘Save Changes’.
Done!

I have the same problem. Authorname and picture are linking to /author/andreas, but link is redirected to Home (/). Note: I don’t have a redirection in htaccess file.

Just add the slashes, the rest is always there.

But: I have to empty the WP cache every 5 minutes to keep Yoast working, that sucks. Waiting for an update of the newspaper theme.

The changes have absolutely no effect, Yoast does not work with Newspaper Theme

I purchased Newspaper theme yesterday, everything is fine except Yoast.

I have the same problem, Yoast isn’t working in real-time and does not recognize any links and won’t count word and so on.
Please solve the problem.
