Hi good day All.

Not to hijack this post, but I am unable to see the toggle button on my toolbar. However, the FORMAT menu option is available… BUT there are no options for quotes, dropcaps, etc.

Format menu option

Some help please? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.

I think we are all experiencing the same problem with the Newsletter plugin, after the Newspaper update. Thank you for all the suggestions. I had to go into cPanel and delete the Newsletter plugin.

My question now: is there a workaround? Should I use another plugin to collect email addresses? Or can we expect an update for the plugin soon?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bogdan, thanks for the info.

I just uploaded a new logo image through the Theme Panel > Header > Logo & Favicon menu and it’s still not being displayed. Does that mean that my images are being uploaded to an incorrect folder?

I’m able to upload images and display them correctly in blog posts and pages… so why is this a problem with the header logo?

Could you take a closer look? Thanks.

Ah! I figured it was an ad unit, but I checked out the header ad and not the ad for the new post template. Thanks.

It’s fixed now… although the ad hasn’t shown up yet. But I’m guessing it will soon.

Thanks @Andrei L. I clear the Safari browser cache on the phone and it works now.

Cheers.

Thanks @Bogdan B.

I’ll try Studio Envato.

Thanks for the info @Alin.

I already you the full wide background on a stretched row… I didn’t realize that it would be difficult to do the “real” full width website as shown here: http://www.nomadicmatt.com/.

Thanks. Newspaper 6 is still an amazing theme.

Thanks @Alin.

Hi @Alin,

Not to hijack the thread, but I think @AilyRoot meant the overall website, not just the header.

I too am interested in a full screen website, similar to what is seen here: http://www.nomadicmatt.com/. You’ll see that the menu and other site elements go to the full width of the page.

Is this possible with the theme as it is now?

Hi Alin,

It seems to have been a problem with my internet connection (too slow).

The elements are loading much quicker now. I’ve disabled the Maintenance plugin. Please try again and tell me what you think.

Thanks.

Hi Bogdan,

I accidentally emailed my reply to you instead of commenting on here.

Anyway, I’ve fixed the problem. Thanks for looking into it.

Will check this out Bogdan.

I don’t like having to resurrect this month-old post, but Aedney, could you share with us what you did to make it work?

My site is looking bad on mobile right now: http://embracedominica.com/

I just upgraded to version 6.5 today.

Thanks
Yuri

Hi Alin,

This seems to have worked. Thanks!

Hi Alin,

It’s not a text block.

It’s a “text with title” block and there’s no option for an extra class.

The spacing I’d like to see is similar to what’s found here on the demo site page – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/shop/

Thanks. Will use this.

Any word on my other thread and the mobile version of Newspaper 6.1 on my site? It’s messed up. Here’s the thread – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bad-mobile-version/

Thanks Alin. It worked.

I apologize for not including screenshots before. Here are two… one from Chrome and the other from Safari… both on iPhone 5S.

Chrome – http://www.screencast.com/t/TLqjCM9Oos
Safari – http://www.screencast.com/t/mfZOFh7Yxvh

It seems this issue affected @modernmavens as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-site-2/

I also tried the demo sites for the theme and these appear OK on both browsers on my iPhone.

I hope the info I’ve provided is sufficient.

Has anyone from tagDiv gotten a chance to look at my site on mobile yet?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Alin.

In the meantime, is there any CSS that can be used per page to hide the header and footer?
