I’m using the tagdiv-AMP plugin. I don’t see the ads on the AMP pages (when adding /amp at the end of the url).
There are OK on the website and I put the same ad settings (Adsense and Taboola) as on the non-AMP articles.
Should I create specific new codes in Adsense for the AMP ?

You can control which categories are shown on the home page from the Blocks using the Block Settings according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ Regarding on the second problem if you want to display such a video in homepage you should simply copy/paste the YT URL in a Text with Title element, for example in homepage or directly in the post content from post editor.

We’ve started specifying per-category background images for categories, and for the most part they work fine:
all posts in a category display the same background image as the category page for that category.
However, we have one category where we are often seeing apparently random images as the background image (they aren’t the featured image for the post, or images that are used in the post as far as I can tell).
For example, posts in this category seem fine:

Whereas for this category they are pretty random:
https://thewhoot.com/whoot-news/recipes
I’d wondered if it was because Recipes is a sub-category, but we have another subcategory (Craft) that also works fine.
The only difference I can think of is that we sometimes have Recipe posts by different authors, which we tend not to do in any other category. But I couldn’t see any strong correlation between post author and background image used.
I couldn’t see anything in the theme panel, category settings, post settings or user settings that might be causing this.
What would be the problem?

How can I control which categories are shown on the home page? For sample in the bottom half of the page there is a section called “LATEST ARTICLES” can I show just the “NEWS” Category in this place and NOT show “NEWS” in any other section like above? Currently, when I add any “NEWS” Posts they show up everywhere and push the main current posts off the page. I don’t want NEWS at the top section of the home page.

The decisions are taken based on popularity. Probably when you requested AMP, there were just a few requests for this feature. The growing popularity of AMP made us implement it into the theme. This happens with every popular request. If PWA becomes more popular then we will most likely make the implementation for it as well. I cannot say for sure now, as the requests are still limited.
We get lots of requests and have to prioritize based on popularity.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. I run an online fitness magazine and we like to use image gallery sliders that allow us to share images from another site (recipes for example) and link back to the content owner. So far it appears that this can’t be done with this slider as this slider only shows the images and there isn’t a way to add a link or add a caption about where to find the original recipe. Also, the caption appears in the bottom right hand corner of the image and some of the text is cut off. A few questions:
1. Is it possible to link images in the gallery to another site? If not, will this be updated in the future?
2. Can the caption be centered or moved to the left so that the text is not cut off?
3. Are there compatible plugins that can replace the existing slider with something more functional?

You did not understood what is happening. Please check your demo. I even sent you screenshots.
“Big grid full 1” is not using thumbnails. It loads neither the thumbnail nor original image.
What it does is this: It takes original image, generates a copy of it, and changes its name.
For example:
I write a post, upload an image 1545px x 1313px as a featured image which I previously optimized using tiny png(https://tinypng.com/) to reduce the size to 200kb.
SO the original image is this: mainimage.jpb (200kb)
When the post is loaded in “Big grid full 1”, it loads the featured image but with different name, and in my case, increased to 700kb.
So, the loaded image is mainimage-1545×1313.jpb (700kb)
I have sent you all the evidence. That is a bug, please fix it. If you don’t understand, then please check carefully everything I said in this one and previous post.

Apple has given its support to Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) in the most recent version of iOS, joining Google and others in supporting a new standard for web-based apps. I have installed SuperPWA on the Kiva Dachshunds website which uses Newspaper 8.7.
I haven’t run into any conflicts and as long as the “Apple Touch Icons” are set in Newspaper’s theme panel, the app seems to work as expected on iOS.
After a brief search of this forum, it seems that tagDiv isn’t too interested just yet in bringing native PWA support to Newspaper or even recommending a preferred plugin.
I remember a similar attitude toward Google AMP when I suggested that support for it be added to Newspaper over a year ago. I was told at the time by various people that it was impossible, not worth doing, unnecessary and that the standard WordPress solution worked fine.
Now, we have an AMP solution provided by tagDiv. I can only hope a PWA solution follows a similar path.

I had my site without Mobile Theme in cell phone view because I needed to show some modules that Mobile theme don’t show, or really I think don’t show. My problem with template view is because have some problems: one of them is the first grid module (Big Grid 1) is no responsive. In phone there are a scroll for to see it. The second problem is the extension of Blocks. If I have 14 posts in computer view, I need only 4 in cell phone view and I can see this is not possible with only Newspaper template.
But also in Mobile Theme the possibilities are less. Is it possible to include another section in the Mobile Theme? For example, I have a block with post authors that I would like to see on the home page.
This is my problem. The template view has responsive and long-term problems, while Mobile theme is very, very restricted.
Anyway, I would prefer to restrict the extensions of the Blocks to the view in the cell phone, and don’t use Mobile Theme. Is this possible?

After clicking the e-mail button, my e-mail client opens and this is OK, but the e-mail body does not give me the full url of my website – i see only the path to the post: https://wpde.sk/po/op04b8p7fq4n2i.png
The URL is mailto:?subject=Tak się bogaci Olsztyn…&body=/tak-sie-bogaci-olsztyn/
As you can see, there URL is not full, it lacks my domain.
Can you help me out in this matter? I’d be very grateful.

Hi Bogdan, sorry for such a late response. Yes, I’m aware that “Past Stories” section is just a static image box and I have already recreated how it looks.
And I know that in a Voice Report demo page those buttons aren’t linked anywhere – however, on my website, I’d like to have them linked to the proper pages containing posts archives for a given date range (Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month, Last Year) – and this is what is the main problem here.
For example, I would create a new page to display posts created during last month or page that would only display posts from yesterday and then I would just link to those newly-created pages from “Past Stories” section but I can’t find any way to apply such date range filters – so I assume that it would require some custom modifications to the theme code right?
Or is there some built-in way to filter posts by date range that I’m missing?

The inline ‘style’ attribute is not allowed in AMP documents, use ‘style amp-custom’ tag instead
