Am realizat actualizarea la versiunea 8 a temei și aș avea câteva întrebări să vă adresez:
- Reclama de sub articol (Article buttom) nu apare dacă fereastra browserului este îngustă (suficient încât să fie interpretat ca mobil), chiar dacă nu am dezactivat afișarea ei nici pe desktop, nici pe tabletă, nici pe mobil. Menționez că nu este reclamă AdSense, ci un script personalizat, iar această problemă a apărut și în versiunea precedentă a temei. - Cum fac să scap de acest loc liber pe pagina principală? Menționez că atunci când selectez „Block Header 13” (și nu doar), apare automat un câmp de text intitulat „Insert Your HTML Code Here…” de care nu reușesc să scap decât dacă introduc ceva (în cazul de față o line orizontală). Deci, se poate face ceva să nu mai am câmpul acela ori să scot spațiul gol?
- În tagDIV Composer există posibilitatea de a adăuga meniuri care se extind la clic. Mai precis, în celălalt Visual Composer aveam o opțiune de genul
[vc_accordion collapsible="yes" disable_keyboard="" active_tab="false"][vc_accordion_tab title=x], dar aici nu găsesc nimic similar. - Cele trei elemente din subsol se pot modifica la stilul 1, astfel încât să nu mai apară Alegerile Editorului, Articole & Categorii Populare?
- În pagina de sursă s-au efectuat modificări importante, sau pot adăuga liniștit codul pentru sursa 2 pe care mi l-ați furnizat mai demult?
- Titlul „Ultimele Articole” de pe pagina principală poate fi personalizat că nu se potrivește deloc cu celelalte? Nu știu dacă are relevanță, dar eu am păstrat pagina principală de dinainte; am șters din ea toate elementele WPBackery Visual Composer și am creat unele noi în noul Composer.
- Cum fac ca întreg conținutul modificat cu tagDIV Composer să fie afișat corect și pe mobil. L-am copiat în Mobile Editor, dar pagina arată așa…: https://www.screencast.com/t/4OfCmdvxfK
- Block-ul Text with Title din Visual Composer nu respectă rândurile libere lăsate în WP Editor decât la inserarea unui alt format de paragraf. Astfel, dacă în WP Editor am aranjat textul cu rânduri libere, în pagina actualizată de pe site nu îl voi vedea sub această formă, toate rândurile fiind puse unul în continuarea celuilalt până la întreruperea de un text H3, de exemplu. Exemplu concret
- News Ticker-ul nu respectă culoarea de fundal / text pe care o specific în Visual Composer.

I just updated one of my sites to Newspaper 8 but I’m running into a few issues. I’d like to open a discussion about them here in case anyone else can use some help with similar problems.
When I try to use the new TD Composer, all I’m seeing is a blank page, and I’m unable to drag & drop any elements (as shown in picture below).

I’ve deactivated all plugins, combinations of plugins, flushed cache from site & browser, tried two separate browsers (chrome & firefox) but the issue persists. Any ideas are much appreciated!

I understand what you mean about the docs and videos, but they are all created with the assumption people who use wordpress theme,s know what wordpress is and what can be done through the wordpress settings. If you lack the basic knowledge I would suggest starting with a few basic wordpress tutorials to learn how pages are made, how posts are created and how they belong in categories, and how to build and set a homepage. For the homepage for instance, wordpress provides 2 options. Either a list of your latest posts, or a page you create and select for it. I assume you have the list and do not know where to dfind the settings for it. OPur theme uses templates for all the wordpress specific pages such as the one you use. These templates are found in the theme panel-> template settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/mh1qwGmDX9
Under the wordpress templates, you will find the theme way of setting the default predefined templates used by wordpress. The theme ad’s it;s style to these pages but since they are predefined by wp, they cannot be edited in the page builder. The same goes with the categories for posts.

Modifications to the td_config file will have to be made directly in the main theme unfortunately, it is not supported by the child theme.

There seems to be an issue with the access token in the current version of the social counter.

Now the access token should work as before.

1. The demo style overrides the main theme style, it is not standalone. That is what happens when a demo is installed. The demo comes with it’s own customization that applies over the theme. You could if you want to identify these overrides and make the modifications directly in the theme style, and remove theme from the demo style. It could prove to be a lot of work.
2. The child theme does not affect the way the website looks by default. A child theme sample is provided in the theme package in the code folder. But it all depends on the files you modify, that is the purpose of a child theme. Here you can find more information about the child theme and what files can be used in it

If you want to move the comments you will have to edit the post templates as they are hard-coded in the theme files. You will have to edit ech post style files for every post template you use. Each post template has 2 files corresponding to it.
You will have to move the comments from one file and move them over to the other below the sharing like so:
This is an example for the default post style:

You will have to do this for multiple post styles depending on how many you use on your site.

I have this issue on my site trying to set the logo background (wich is transparent in the png file) to 100% transparency.
Every time when I try to set it, it always appears white on some of the menus, 3 of them to be precise. See the photo sample here.

Is there a beginning “how-to” for this theme? I clearly don’t know what I’m doing. For example: For the main menu, I use a specific page to display the most recent blog entries, but when I go to a specific blog entry, I have no idea where it’s getting the template to display that actual blog. Maybe a category template? I dunno. The same hold true for the Featured articles menu item. I display a custom page for the featured articles page, then have no idea what template is being used to display an article when one is selected.
I guess the question is, could someone (who has nothing better to do) describe their process? What templates are used to display posts? To display the menu pages? i started using WordPress with a different theme, and ended up using custom hand built pages and a plugin with lots of short codes to get things displayed, but I’m getting the feeling that Newspaper is not intended to used in that fashion.

The problem we’re having across the site is that when you first open any page or post the text is one type of font before adjusting to the correct setting.
So maybe it’s the default font and then it changes to my chosen font?
it’s quite unattractive when this happens and takes away from your otherwise lovely design.
what can be done to stop this?

I found a rare problem which is ,when I log into my account that will take me to straight to the error 404 page then I have to go back again to the home page which has shown to the next line .

I never faced his problem at all .Moreover now a days I found my website loads slowly ,for example -if I want to create a new page or post this takes ages to start and after preparing that take me to the error page instead of original page I have created .
Is there any program misfunctioned or any plugin I can use to make that faster .I even cannot having a good time after new update as this getting very slow and checking tagdiv composer is a nightmare at this moment .please advice me what to do for resolving this issues.

I have tested the code that you mention and other codes, in the child theme stylesheet, and it is applying properly. I simply entered it in the child theme’s style.css file. Maybe it is a caching issue that causes the code to not apply. Try clearing any caching installed and check again.
The functions file provided with the child theme should have these lines of code inside
