Please try to revert the theme to the default state, remove all your additional customization if you have, clear all your caches and check the results. Please keep in mind that the smart list feature work as properly and the Caption is well aligned as you can see in the above example. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Unfortunately, we do not have any tested plugins in this regard and also, the theme does not have such an option that offers you a way to set the Co-Authors, sorry! Please notice that this is not a simple task and it could be made only via custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! Please notice that our theme does not have any such an option for it, sorry! If you want to achieve this, you should do it yourself because it is not a simple task and it requires to do some additional customizations. As a hint, you should target the containers you want and then, you should add a border. As an example, you can see the code and the results below ->

Please keep in mind that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add a background for your header section, sorry! If you want to add the background in that section, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that, as background-image which have to be applied to the header container. I saw that your website is a maintenance mode and that’s why I cannot access it.
Notice that below I gave you an example of what you can add some background to your header section.

There is no theme setting to change the post content background if that is what you mean, so if you want to set a background color to the post content, it has to be custom.
