How to show adsense ads on home page, category and tag page like we have loop ads in mobile theme??
We want to show the ads after every 4 or 5 posts please advice how to do that in desktop & tablets..??

I even tried reinstalling everything again: wordpress + Db + Newspaper + plugins
I was able to narrow the problem to a single plugin: All in one wp security & firewall
When I have this plugin active, some theme panel options are not shown, like in the image above.
Even with the plugin active but with no configuration (just the install), the error persists.
When I deactivate this plugin, everything works, no matter if I use http://www.site.com or just site.com
I already made a clean install of this plugin, but seems that it’s during the install process that it conflits with the theme panel. The obvious option would be to not use this plugin, but it’s kind of annoying because everything was working before the theme update and this plugin gives me important information that I wouldn’t like to not have.
Any ideas of what I can try next?

The above code was just an example which can be customized as needed. You can change the color and also add new properties if you need a different style.

Thank You for the reply! My site is citycampus.gr and i am trying to customize it. After having read You instructions, i suppose i am referring to block settings indeed. To become more clear: Home page of site is actually showing the posts of the site. I need to make this first page a page with multiple categories, each showing 4 or 5 latest posts of each category. I suppose i can do that with the block setting. I am confused and i cant find it where block settings is. I mean i go to theme panel and then??? Under where is block settings?

Let’s try this a different way.
There is no spot to add content on all posts at once. Our theme has no such option.
As this is a widget it can only be used in the sidebar by default but using shortcodes you can add it in the post content as well.
There are 2 ways you can add this widget. Either you add it on every post at the end of the content (you have to edit all existing posts) or you can use the method I showed you to place the subscription widget and it will apply automatically to every post. Your choice. My method allows you to add the content underneath other elements as well which cannot be seen in post edit like for example the related articles or the social icons.

Links will appear in the excerpt field, but they will not be clickable. It is the way the excerpts were made. Excerpts were designed to work as a sample data of the post so the user can see a small preview of the content, not use the full features of the content. This will require customization for it to work. There is no easy way of activatin links in the excerpt.
As an alternative you can display the full post content by using module 15 for pages’s layout: http://screencast.com/t/C367cAKea This module will display all post content including links, images and videos. But this is not a block element. It can only be used on category pages, or the latest articles section.

If you require the recent articles to be displayed on every post under the content, you can use a do_shortcode function and chose one of the content blocks. For example, you can use a block 4 limited to let’s say 15 articles. You can create the block the way you want the settings on a dummy page. After you create the block and set it up, once you click classic mode you can see the shortcode. For my example this was the resulting shortcode:

You can use this block on a post by adding it to the post template files with a do_shotcode function like so:

You will have to add tbis code for each of the post styles that you use on your site. Each post template has it’s own file.

The scroll bar appears because you’re using Arabic language in WordPress and the site automatically moves to rtl style. IF there is used another language, English for example, the site works fine. As Catalin mentioned above our theme dos not support rtl style and you will need some customizations in order to adapt the layout.
I’ve also removed your credentials as this is a public forum and anyone can see theme.

Search the “.td-grid-style-4 .entry-title” in style.css
Edit the property “background-color:” to the color you want.
The opacity is set in the same property.
Example: background-color: rgba(0, 102, 153, 0.7);
0,102,153 is the rgb color code.
0.7 is the opacity.

You can do anything with AMP except you cannot load funky scripts in the header, you must only load https elements, and you must have clean code with no old-skool inline styles like

and the like.
AMP ads are simple, just make a hook in your functions.php file to load the small 250px graphic from adsense, using Google’s examples on the adsense website, and several tutorials online. It cannot be done in the TagDiv theme panel as the amp endpoint not part of theme.
Easy to hire a WP developer if none of that makes sense 🙂

Can you give a clue how to change pagination? I can’t find it in the interface.
Our web host applied the following cludge which has at least dropped our CPU problem and fixed an issue where we had blank screens after posting new articles.
I just put in a block for the admin-ajax.php file, and immediately your CPU usage dropped. I suspect you need to work with your theme vendor to understand why it is POSTing to admin-ajax.php. Once you have fixed that you can remove the .htaccess file at /var/www/vhosts/israellycool.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/.htaccess or I can do that for you.

Just launched the Newspaper theme on NJTechReviews(www.njtechreviews.com). Works great and so far very happy with it, I was wondering if for the homepage under the latest article if that could just be a stream of everything written on the site in the order, so newest first? And then for the grid we have at the top, if I make a post sticky how would I get that to be the first one? And then can review pages show up next to articles in there?

In newspaper, Blocks are made of Modules.
Tagdiv has a nice little plugin that helps you create a new Block and Module.

Keep in mind this plugin is a bit outdated, hence it doesn’t work with the new newspaper version 7.3.
In any case, It’s possible to make it work. Just follow the instructions and not the default files.

In every single post, I’m using Block 7 in sidebar (sort in latest articles).
But the specific article is also seen in the sidebar.. how to exclude the article in the sidebar.
Example: If I’m in this article “How to take care of plants”, this shouldn’t be in the sidebar.

You have to customize amp template to support ads. Simplest way is using filter added to functions file. Amp template not part of theme. Just remember you can onlu use the small ad sizes for mobile.
Theme does not control amp plugin. Yoast glue adds some options. Just remember to resave your permalinks when enabling or disabling amp support since it adds new endpoint for pages.

on header of my site page, I do not think the option to update the address of the social networks. I can only change the address of the social networking site page footer on the way newspaper/theme panel. In the header for example the address of the facebook is like this: http://mobilidadesampa.com.br/mobilidadesampa and footer is https://www.facebook.com/mobilidadesampa/
So I’ve got a weird thing going on.
I use pagination on my articles to break them into several pages.
Sometimes I notice that the last page has no sidebar….or rather it’s not on the side… it gets pushed down under….but not for all posts.
Here is an example.

Any ideas how to force that to always be on the side and be there especially on the last page of a post?

I think they are working on it.
Mobile them does not need to support AMP; as AMP is separate framework and can easily be enabled with
a) Automattic AMP plugin (from people who make WordPress)
b) Yoast SEO
c) Yoast AMP glue addon (free)
This way mobile theme used for browsers not supporting AMP; and AMP used for those that do.
Note that content plays huge part in AMP compatibility; so bad content, bad plugins, etc., all have to be massaged. Which would be nightmare for the theme devs on top of all the folks who can’t read the docs.
I don’t work here; just my opinion.
We’ve been live with AMP since Feb; in beta since Nov 2015 on our high traffic 11-15 year old news portals; and works very well. Automattic AMP plugin is good baseline to use for now as it’s also used on some of the top WP-powered sites (e.g., TIME magazine, major newspapers running on AMP, etc.). It works, and you can easily test it using Chrome and the console view.
Hi there! Your theme is great. I have an existing wordpress site which has a custom post type “dog” and custom taxonomy “listing-type.” I want to use your blocks which are added to visual composer, but they only support entering the custom post type, not a custom query or custom taxonomies. Is there any workaround for this? I’m great with wordpress coding and could easily add a filter or something to the functions.php file if you have code for adding another field to the “filter” section for the custom taxonomy. I’ve also seen some VC blocks for post grids where they allow you to write your own query string like “post_type=dog&taxonomy=listing-type&term=available&count=1&orderby=title”
