I have checked your website but could not find any problems with blank spaces. Please provide an example of an ad that creates this type of issue. The theme does not do anything besides render the ad code and display it unchanged. You can alternatively try to use a render plugin like adrotate and see if the blank spaces come up with their renderer as well.

I have a big problem. I created a website for a client.
Everything worked fine but now and then, the Themepanel Options are getting resetted.
Also, the Import & Export function is not working. It always says “Import successful” but it doesn’t get saved!
Is this problem known? Why did you guys use a serializing system. Saving the data in the database in a normal and common form, would avoid such problems and potentially could even speed-up the theme in some places.

I’ve just moved my old website to new hosting, and I have had some problems, which I fixed already, but one is still exist.
The problem: featured image (full screen) alignment is not centered.

I guess it’s somehow related with td_backstr javascript function since I got “td_backstr is not defined” error in the log (no such problem on the old host).

I didn’t change CSS or JS after moving the website on the new host. So I guess the problem is somehow related to server configuration and priority of loading files.

Please let me know how to resolve it. I think it was Smush.it but the problem persists even when I have disabled it. Tried clearing cache of the website and browser, not working. Please resolve.
User roles are managed by WordPress, not the theme. You may need to use a plugin to manage advanced user roles if not wanting to use default settings from the link @catalin provided above.
I think the user role “editor” works for adding embeds — oembed is a standard feature on posts in WordPress. Embeds work if it’s a supported format, and if you enter that on the correct editor tab.
Meaning, sometimes if you paste a Video URL from MS word on the visual editor, for example, it won’t embed because it’s wrapped in HTML when converted; so that has to be done on the text editor tab.
Hi, I’m using All-In-One-SEO Plugin for my page title but somehow it doesn’t show properly in the search engine result (although it shows correctly at the top of the internet browser). The search engine result as below:
For example, if you go into the page: http://www.thebloggingtips.com/ipage/, you can see the re-write correct title at the top of your browser as “iPage Review: Server Uptime Records…”. However, in search engine result page, the title was “iPage – WordPress Themes”.

Hi, It was a turkish character problem then new version newspaper. I resolved problem with the method. You click wp admin panel after >> click punch fonts >> add new font >>
Handle:tp- example: open-sans
Parameter: example: Open+Sans:400,600,700 save and resolved problem.

There is one (hopefully) small thing that I just cannot figure out: I would like to have featured posts (or any category, really) to have a different background on blocks (module 4, 6, 10, and mx4, but if I can get it to work on just one, I could figure out the rest).

Salut! Mesaj pentru Radu, vad ca este roman de-al nostru. Numele meu este Razvan! Felicitări pentru crearea acestei teme (newsmag). Am o problema si eu in functionarea optima a acesteia pe mobil. Poate ma poti ajuta. Nu stiu ce se intampla insa pe mobil, ca de altfel pe toate dispozitivele mobile reclamele de la adsense nu se afiseaza intregi. Mai precis se taie cam 5-10% din partea dreaapta a reclamei, aceasta afisandu-se incomplet.
Site-ul este infoalert.ro. Poti sa-mi ajuti te rog sa se rezolve aceasta problema? Exista vreun bug in wordpress sau e o defectiune in configurarea temei pe acest domeniu.

I did it but still not working. Although on Firefox the website behaves like it should be and I can zoom without problems with the mouse wheel and ctrl key. I also tested other websites with newspaper /newsmag con Chrome, and on some of them the zoom also does not work, like for example (exactly the same issue I have):
So I don’t know what causes this issue on Chrome, but is really strange because sometimes I can zoom until one point, and after that the function just stops working and the wheel starts scrolling instead of zooming the page.

I am using a plugin called Better WordPress Comments it created a comment feed for people on the site.
You can see it here – http://www.teleread.com/community/
If you click the date on a comment it should go to that comment (as it did on the previous theme).
However at the moment if you click the date it takes you to the comment box
For example – http://www.teleread.com/customer-service-snit-sheds-light-on-inner-workings-at-amazon/#comment-56482. Doesn’t take you to comment comment-56482 but to the comment box itself.

If you want to hide a block title you have to use a bit of CSS to hide it. Please try the code below and add it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Vhqr66pCMChx

If you want to hide the title only for a block, you have to target it and put it before the above code that I gave you. (for example .td_block_1)
Please notice that you have used Ajax filter from Blocks settings you have to do a bit of CSS to increase the padding top of the block for a better look. (-> padding-top: 32px)

I’ve had a look at how to make a new block (using the api and the example plugin), and that helps me with part of my issue, the other is that I need a block that has a non-standard title styling. From what I can see, the title code is shared across all blocks. I could probably get away with simply hiding the block title as well…
Any pointers?

Unfortunately, this is the ‘problem’ about cropping system. Our theme uses the system of cropping from center to top. The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size used by the theme. Basically, when a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image displayed is not the one which you uploaded in the media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at the precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. We use a WordPress function – add_image_size() – you can read about it here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size – and here – http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
Our theme crop (cut) thumbnails in some cases to avoid creating a lot of thumbnails in order to reduce to load more spaces on the server. I did some investigation on my side and I did a little digging into this matter. Please try to use a bit of CSS and add it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

Hi,
I noticed this issue with my website, when I press Ctrl + Mouse wheel to zoom in or zoom out it’s not working in Chrome. Only works when pressing the Ctrl & +/- keys. With the other sites, I can zoom without problems with the mouse wheel.
Just wanted to know if this is normal behaviour 🙂
