Hello,
I’m using Newspaper Theme and I’ve created a custom taxonomy called “Especial” to group special content (like Halloween or Christmas).

I’d like to assign an image to each taxonomy (for example, a representative image for “Halloween”, “Christmas”, etc.) and display it in the taxonomy block (e.g. tdb_category_list or similar).

I’m using Toolset to manage the custom taxonomies, but Newspaper doesn’t seem to recognize any image field by default.

My questions are:

Does Newspaper have a built-in field or recommended method to assign an image to a taxonomy term?

If not, what’s the best way to register and display it (via custom field, ACF, or Toolset)?

Which field slug or meta key should I use so the theme recognizes it automatically in the block?

Is it normal for the breadcrumb to only show the main category and not the subcategory where the article is located? I have only 1 level of subcategory: category >subcategory

For example this article: https://www.nuvoledibellezza.com/lerbolario-canapa-crema-viso-detergente-olio-opinioni/
This has the main category “Viso,” which is a subcategory of Beauty. The breadcrumb should be:
Home > Beauty > Viso > …name of the article…
But I can only see Home > Beauty > …name of the article… (without the subcategory)
Please can you help me?

Hi, I am using (example) setupdomain.com to check how I can set up this theme so that I can use the same settings on maindomain.com. Now, to fully use setupdomain.com, it is asking me to enter the purchase code. If I enter the code, will I still be able to use it on the maindomain.com when I finally replicate the settings there? I have followed all of your instructions and tutorials. I worked with ChatGPT for 1 hour trying to debug.

Here is what is happening

If I enter ANYTHING with https:// in front of it. It just blanks back out when I save
If I enter anything without https://, it just adds it as an extension to my domain.

Example:

linkedin.com/in/psboyce/

just becomes

https://creditenforcer.com/linkedin.com/in/psboyce/

I have already tried clearing all Caches. I have also tried deactivating ALL 3rd-party plugins.

Long story short. Something must have been corrupted in a Newspaper theme file. Hosting helped, had to do a theme restore, then a full site restore.

Hoping to be at the last mile of the fix… I cannot edit ANY templates. Gives me an error. Which I am hoping is related to another issue. It tells me I need to update from 12.6.9 –> 12.73. I click to update, take me to a screen that says everything is up to date. Which it isn’t, because it still says Im on 12.6.9.

TLDR. Restored, assume I was on 12.7.3 Now stuck on 12.6.9. And wont let me edit templates, Im assuming because it partially thinks Im on 12.7.3/12.6.9? Child theme too FYI. Screenshots included.

How can I completely remove the tables and options of tagDiv Opt-In Builder?

I’ve created a custom shortcode function in my functions.php file to show the discount percentage (e.g. “50% OFF”) dynamically on my WooCommerce product pages.

The shortcode works perfectly on desktop, and even when I view the desktop version on mobile, it displays correctly.
However, when I use a custom mobile template, the shortcode output does not appear at all.

Here’s my code setup:

so finally the issues is
Works fine on desktop version.
Works fine when viewing desktop layout on mobile browser.
❌ Does not display when using a custom mobile template.

Hi TagDiv Team,

Like some other users, I’m consistently getting the following error when editing new pages or the homepage (but not posts): Error at zones: 6(models): 0(dom) “The model does not match the content. Current state has involved an issue.”

This even happens immediately after I download one of your pre-built templates—even before adding any shortcodes.

What I discovered:

After some testing, I found that if I use the “Post Type Switcher” plugin to change the page type (in the Classic Editor) from Page → Cloud Template, the error in Composer disappears completely!

Once I do that:

I can edit the page in Composer without any errors.

The layout works as expected.

However:

The page is then removed from the Cloud Template list, since it’s technically no longer a “Page” it is a Cloud Template type.

It only displays properly if I access it through a URL like
https://example.com/tdb_templates/news
If I try to access it normally at https://example.com/news, I either get a blank page or a critical error.

My theory

It seems that posts don’t trigger this error because the Theme Panel → Templates section includes a redirect or link definition for posts and single templates. That likely ensures TagDiv Composer initializes the correct “zone” mapping.

For pages and the homepage, there’s no equivalent setting in the Theme Panel, so Composer may be loading the wrong internal model—hence the zone mismatch.

The problem

At the moment, I can’t create or edit any new pages or homepage layouts without this error.
Only posts work normally.

Possible solution idea

If my guess is right, perhaps the Composer needs a way to assign a Cloud Template mapping (like the Post templates) for Pages and Homepage in the Theme Panel. That might resolve the zone mismatch entirely.

Do you have any other workaround or insight on this?
It’s currently blocking all new page and homepage creation.
