I understand one of the reasons for Amp and Mobile are for a faster site which leads to more views and a stronger worth to advertisers. However, is there a way to use our own ad inserter plugin rather than what is provided in the theme panel?
Hi,
I would like to setup a multisite news site. The main categories such as news, technology, business, lifestyle will be located in different sites in a multisite network. How can we achieve cross-site content sharing. For example: technology titles will be shown from technology site, business titles will be shown from business site. All sites will have access to other multi site’s contents. Does theme have tools for this kind of multisite structured news site. Also search will work for every site within network. In the header menu of main site (news.domain.com) when we hover on technology title the dropdown screen which shows titles with photos will get data from technology.domain.com. The tabbed columns titled as business, lifestyle ,etc… will be filled from other sites in the multi site network such as business.domain.com, lifestyle.domain.com.
How can achieve this structure within newspaper 9 Theme.
Thank you and best Regards
I am one angry customer.
Before updating to the last two updates my Adsense CPC was averaging 0.09. Now I am doing 0.05 and my earnings have dropped from $150 a day to a mere $60 or $70.
The mobile plugin and amp plugin were fine but this update is making loses for me. Is there a way of getting the old setup back?
Hi supporter,
I tried that way, but when it shows on mobile, very bad because of row mis-alignment.
I want to add Address & Phone number to another row like Email field (default).
Hope you understand my idea, my English is not good.
Thanks,
Hi,
The only way to show in amp that code is if that code can be converted to amp.
Please check this articles:
Introduction to advertising on AMP -> https://www.ampproject.org/docs/ads/introduction_ads
Add Analytics to AMP pages -> https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/amp-analytics/
Thank you!
what am saying is that my homepage only showing latest articles on mobile. Before it would look just like my desktop website.
For example if you visit dancehallworld.net on desktop and mobile it look the same
When you visit dancehallarena.com on mobile the homepage only shows latest articles
before it would look just like my desktop homepage
I have found the Smart Sidebar no longer works. Please check on this link for an example:

Newspaper Theme vs. 8.8.1
Hi guys,
As I’m sure you already know, we love the Newspaper theme. However, one area it’s lacking compared to some other themes is how it treats reviews.
Can you please add the following suggestions to your long list of feature requests?
– rich snippets should reflect review units used (points, percentages, stars) rather than always converting to stars
– similarly, blocks should show the actual review units used, rather than converting points or percentage values into stars.
– ability for users to rate/vote is becoming very popular and would greatly enhance the current reviews.
– ability for users to sort blocks rather than just filter would be very helpful. I’d like our readers to be able to sort reviews by score, date or popularity – I can do this when designing a page in TD composer, but I would like our readers to be able to do it, too.
– numbered ranking for blocks, similar to what you do with smart lists. So, for example, when a block of ten posts is sorted by review scores, it displays a ranking number to make it easy to see how it ranks.
Most of these suggestions can be achieved with third-party review plugins, but there is always the issue of integration with the theme. Given that the rest of Newspaper looks so slick, it’s a shame that the review section is lagging behind.
Many thanks,
stuart
Hi,
Please make sure that you made the settings for amp like in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict that create that amp errors, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Dear team,
I can modify footer at version of desktop theme as my design.
When I use only AMP theme, footer on mobile shows as I want.
I change to (mobile+AMP) theme, it comes back to your default settings.
Now I want to add more field at footer of (Mobile+AMP) theme, like Address field, phone number field,..
Please guide me how to do that.
Thank you,
Hi Catalin,
Sorry, I do not understand what you mean. What happens if I change the category? The first (big) article will still appear in the latest article list. Or do I misunderstand this?
Does it possibly work in the other direction?
Is there a way to show only certain categories in the latest article list?
Then I put all categories IDs in the code and skip the featured category id. Is that a possibility?
I have another question about the mobile theme: I always get the same six error messages from the AMP validator, even though I set “Mobile + AMP” in the mobile theme settings.
If I only activate the AMP mode in the mobile theme settings, I can not change any settings in the AMP plugin. The AMP plugin always shows:
Your active theme has been built-in AMP support.
Paired: Reuses active theme’s templates to display AMP responses, but uses separate URLs for AMP. Each canonical URL may AMP URL, if the content is fully AMP valid.
Only if I deactivate the mobile theme I can select the classic AMP mode in the AMP plugin.
In classic AMP mode, I do not receive error messages from the AMP validator.
I’ve cleared the chache and also disabled all non theme plugins. But unfortunately it did not work.
Many Thanks!
Hi,
Some footer templates come with predefined content, others are blank and will display only the widgets you enter in the footer columns – https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The predefined content in the templates cannot be edited with settings.
The editors picks is a simple block 7 widget sorted by featured, so it will display featured posts only
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
You could select a footer template with empty columns, for example
– http://prntscr.com/n3zqf3
Then enter the same block 7 widget in the first footer column – http://prntscr.com/n3zqwh
Now you can customize it as you want – http://prntscr.com/n3zrua
The popular posts in the second footer column is still a block 7 widget but filtered by popular posts. The widget in the third footer column is a popular category widget
– http://prntscr.com/n3ztjl
If you have more questions let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use just the AMP plugin if you want, the mobile theme is not required. Not installing it does not mean that AMP will not work.
That is just a message, not an error, mentioning that the mobile theme can be used together with the official AMP plugin – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
I set the code in the “ANALYTICS/JS CODES” section in the main section as explained above. The code is being converted to amp code without success which is what causes the errors. How do I stop this code being converted on amp pages?
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the reply. The page URL is on https://www.1001malam.com/travel/dari-malang-ke-bromo-fun-trip-experience/
I would like to make the header & the footer not displayed. Where can we put on the CSS? I meant through which settings?
Thanks,
Hi,
Is possible that your code to make some conflicts for amp and mobile theme.
If I understand correctly you try to set this option and set the code here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Ks8s2uSflq if this was not working that mean your coed is not longer compatible with amp version.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I check some posts from your website and you get this -> https://validator.ampproject.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sentiersduphoenix.be%2Fsalomon-mesh%2F%3Famp
Usually this is a plugin conflict or can be from your ads. Please check your ads on amp and replace any inline style attribute with ‘style amp-custom’.
Style & layout -> https://www.ampproject.org/docs/design/responsive_amp
Thank you!
Hi, I currently have 4 menus (Home, Blog, Fitness, Workout) on https://abeidblogs.com but when I go on certain posts it only shows 3 menus (Home, Blog, Fitness), for example here and in this post as well.
Can you figure this out, please?
Hi,
I just install Mobile theme and activated it for only AMP. But the page style/formatting broke.
Please see the post for example: https://www.magicalassam.com/2019/04/jyotishmita-baruah.html?amp
See the setting: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14Ym_u5K_mReCKfG_ffnBVsNhHtEUxZP6/view?usp=sharing

Hi team,
Every time I press an item in menu of (Mobile+AMP) them, I see the very quick URL with # after /, then it quickly change to category’s URL.
Ex: http://www.domain.com/# => http://www.domain.com/topics/sport
Please help me remove # after URL like that.
Thank you,
If I install tagdiv “Mobile theme”, then AMP plugin have to install Individually?
The /amp should redirect to /?amp so there should be no problem in this case. Try to re-save the permalinks and check again.
But the logo & menu position has been changed. How to fix it. https://prnt.sc/n7hgeq
Also, Check manually Responsive web design is working.
Hi Calin, I’ve followed the screenshots and it still didn’t change.
For example I changed the “text logo color” to #00a597 and it still appears black on my site. Do you have any fixes for this? Thanks
Hi,
There were changes made in the theme, the old dedicated AMP plugin created by us is no longer provided.
Now the official AMP plugin and the mobile theme can be used. The AMP URL’s will be with /?amp at the end.
The /amp should redirect to /?amp so there should be no problem in this case. Try to re-save the permalinks and check again.
Thanks
