Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/n7fEXCy.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
If this is not what you mean, please provide me some more details.
Thank you!
Hello !
Unfortunately the only option at the moment is to disable WP-Bakery.
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
Thanks for the assistance. I disabled WPBakery Page Builder and now the theme is working as normal.
FYI- I was using ver.6.1 of WPB PB. As well as the issue mentioned above I could not previously insert any images from my media library or any cloud elements from tagDiv.
I also tested a fresh new page that had only been adjusted by tagDiv Composer.
This all seems to be fine now (though obviously I have lost the use of WPB).
Thank you very much for helping us 🙂
Here is what we did: Disabled the WPBakery plugin, configured the cloud template under the posts of the theme panel, and the Gutenberg Editor works well with the cloud template for creating new posts. The sidebar display error seems to be resolved.
One more quick and important question: we have some posts on our website that were created using WPBakery Editor in the past, and now when we disable the WPBakery Plugin (along with standard pack disabled), those posts show up like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/OoihUvo9
The text is taking more space and it is mixing up with the sidebar.
Hi,
I think that this is a plugin conflict between tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery, you can use only one of them, please deactivate the WPBakery and the sidebar should work again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hello !
Unfortunately wp-bakery overwrites Newspaper Themes background image. We recommend you to use the tagDiv Composer over wp-bakery.
Thank you for your understanding !

Also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is possible to be something with the element from WPBakery plugin, the video elements were tested only with the tagDiv Composer and in classic editor.
Thank you for your understanding!
Greetings,
We have recently started using Gutenberg Editor, and we were previously using WP Bakery Editor. But using the cloud templates with Gutenberg Editor renders an error with the sidebar.
https://www.screencast.com/t/tK6BFMWut61X
As you can see in the screenshot above, the sidebar is appearing at the bottom on the page, and it has become much bigger in size. The same cloud template (Single Post Template 7) that we have used in the post above, works like a charm with WP Bakery Editor.
Here is an example of the same cloud template used with WP Bakery Editor: https://photographycourse.net/best-lightroom-presets-wedding-photography/
Please help us with this issue. Thank you very much!
So I have disabled standard pack and not using WPBakery…I am saying I did a fresh install of newspaper 10.3 and then built out cloud templates using the premade styles (used Tech News Pro). Its happened on both the header and footer templates where I will go back into edit something and the same error appears in tagdiv composer:
“Errors at columns: 2(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
In an effort to possibly explain the bug I was just including that it appears to show WPBakery shortcodes if you click to “edit” template section (not tagdiv composer)
Heres our footer https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOuNY7ro
But upon further inspection it actually looks like a mix of your tdc shortcodes prefix WPBakery vc prefixes like:
[tdc_zone type=”tdc_footer”][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_1200 td-stretch-content”
If you “edit” a functioning cloud template it appears as encoded text:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApurNm0W
Thats why I was saying the bug probably has something to do with that or perhaps your tdcomposer is using VC elements?
The only thing I could think of is I sometimes work across multiple tabs and might have an edited td composer open not saved in one tab and then a more updated cloud template I’m saving over in the other…is there any versioning/support using tdcomposer so theres no conflict like a normal wp post?
Thanks, it helped. Conflict with the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. I turn off everything works .. So I can’t use the plugin, only for posts and TD Composer for pages. I need to work only one. It doesn’t matter that WPBakery Page Builder is used only for posts. etc. composer for pages.

Hi,
You can still use the WPBakery with our theme, but you’ll need to choose between tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery, you can use only one of theme without to create a conflict, we recommend to use tagDiv Cloud Library. Also you can not edit the pages or demos with WPBakery these were made with tagDiv Composer and the pages need to be edited only with the editor that were made.
If you manage to reproduce the problem, please let us know.
Thank you!

I’ve had the same issue and have had to recreate them so they will save.
I notice the error on the cloud templates when you go into the editor (not the td composer) and appears like WBBakery shortcode is in there rather than a block of encoded text.
Seems like a bug that I can’t get to reproduce so I’ve been just having to recreate them each time
Hi @rillc,
I just found a workaround for custom ads, which I completely missed.
There is a custom code tab when you add an ‘Ad box’ via the composer. the javascript we use works and saves fine via this option.
@tagdiv: It would still be nice to have a raw javascript box, like WP Bakery had, but for now, this custom code window in the ad box is a good-enough workaround for us.
(We use it for interactive image embeds.)
I didn’t send login creds, because I just realized that we are on version 10.2 still on the site in question. We purchased this theme many times for multiple sites. I updated one of the other sites, and not the one in question. Once I update, this might fix this issue.
Thank you everyone for the quick replies.

Hi,
Please notice that tagDiv Cloud Library need to be deleted and reinstall it from Newspaper> Plugins, only deactivate and activate it back will not work.
If you want to edit the footer, then you’ll need to edit it from a page, for example your can edit the homepage, click on edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uweNRrc.jpg after that go down to the footer end edit it how you want (now you can customize the the whole webpage from fronted).
Also the mobile problem can be a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also we do not recommend to use the tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery on your website, if you are using both of theme, then you’ll need to choose only one and deactivate the other one.
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!

Hi,
That may happen when WPBakery is active. Are you using that builder as well? If not, you could deactivate it and the composer should work fine and allow you to set the needed images.
Thanks
Hello !
At the moment the WP Bakery will remain a supported plugin for the Newspaper Theme.
Our team is working on having this features in the future.
Thank you for your understanding !
