Hi,
If you are using the WPBackery and you have the tagDiv Composer activate, the code from this will overwrite these from WPBakery, usually we recommend to use tagDiv Composer, but if you want I can try to provide to use a code that can fix this problem on that page, just provide me a link where I can inspect this problem.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hey there,
I am trying to to use 5 columns via visual composer but
some thing from theme or plugin just overrides everything.
As a result I get just 1 column ..
SO please help
Hi jasiu1324,
I think that you may have a plugin conflict, please deactivate the WPBakery plugin, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hi Vlad thanks for the refer this is resolved.
For anyone having same problems:
“In 9.7.3 It appears to be a conflict between WP bakery and tagDiv Composer so the element Widget Sidebar cannot be added. Please update to 9.8 and the issue will be fixed. ” – Support
Hello !
Sorry for missleading you !
Please take a look at this tutorial in order to activate WP Bakery on posts: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/faq/i-can-not-use-wpbakery-page-builder-on-posts-and-custom-posts/
Thank you !
i have another theme with WPBakery and i can make any post with it
I can´t add the image (logo) that i want for the footer. I have this Error Message.
I do not have WP Bakery installed.

Hello !
WPBakery Page Builder and tagDiv Composer are PAGE builders. In order to create POSTS you have only clasical editor or gutenberg.
Thank you !
Hello !
WP Bakery is a PAGE builder. You cannot create posts with WP bakery. The only options you have from wordpress are Gutenberg or Classical editor for creating posts.
Thank you !
when i Disable Gutenberg Editor and add new post WPBakery Page Builder and tagDiv Composer not appear only classic editor appear
when i disable it and add new post WPBakery Page Builder not appear only classic editor appear
Thank you for your reply. The page has been built entirely with WP Bakery, never with tagDiv Composer.
Hello !
Unfortunately from 9.8 working with both tagDiv Composer and Wp Bakery on the same page will cause issue. You will have to redo your page using only one of those 2 page builders.
Also please take a look at our improved update tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you !
Hi! I updated my client´s site on a test (staging) site. Everything okay except one major problem: a grid of small banner ads at the bottom of the front page totally broke down. It has been a neat grid in six columns containing Single Images thumbnails on top of each other like here, on the live site:
https://suomi-seura.fi
After updating both the theme and WPBakery on the staging site it looks like this:
https://https://suomiseura3.pilvia.site/fi/
Previous version of the theme that worked was 9.7.2. All pages of this site have been built with Visual Composer / WP Bakery.
Please help, thank you
Hello !
From what i’ve seen now you’re using the WP Bakery. You cannot use 2 pagebuilders on the same page. That can cause a plugin conflict !
Thank you !
Hello,
since I have some articles with tabbed content, I would like to ask, how can I create it using TB composer? I would like to deactivate WP Bakery, since you force the users to keep TD composer active.
Best
Adam
In fact, I can not edit any page, without deactivating wp bakery. Is there any option to fix it?
I build this page with tagdiv composer:
But after activating wp bakery, the icons got a little bit bigger and when I want to edit it with td composer, I see some weird code and can not edit it. I assume this are wp bakery elements.
I can not upload here a screenshot, so I can not show it to you.
I would actually delete wp bakery, but the problem is, I can not edit articles with td composer. So it make no sense.
Hello !
Sorry for confusing. Newspaper Theme and tagDiv Plugins. The settings will remain anyway because they are stored in the database. But first try and deactivate only WP Bakery and let me know how that went.
Thank you !
What do you mean by everything? Theme files and td composer files? Or also wp bakery should be deleted before the update??
Hello !
Please disable WP Bakery plugin and let me know if that fixed the issue !
Thank you !
Hello !
If you are using the WP Bakery you can disable the gutenberg from here: https://prnt.sc/oryaap
Thank you !
i cant use WPBakery Page Builder
when i add new post Gutenberg is only work and i want disable it to use WPBakery Page Builder
I have fixed this. Thanks! Just Deactivated WPBakery Page Builder.
#1, properly coded/developed themes and plugins should only write to folders directly under /wp-content/ (Caching scripts do this properly). They should never write directly to a folder inside theme or plugin folders. To allow this is to potentially invite your site to be compromised. I spent nearly 5 years at my last job hardening and securing (200+) WordPress sites. I’m doing the same for my current job (will be 100+ WP sites, soon).
#2. “Please make sure that you edit only the pages and post that was build with tagDiv Composer.” This is on a brand new page being created to replace older pages that have both WP Bakery and TD Composer.
#3. Why was support for PHP 5.x dropped? I should also note, AGAIN, that we’ve got this also in use on stand-alone sites (on the same server cluster) where we can edit via the tD Composer interface without any issues.
#4. We found the issue… “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin is incompatible with tD Composer.
We have a workaround in place, however, it’s not ideal, nor preferred.
