The code is from the normal editor – so you can see the page code. WPBakery is enabled and working fine.
The issue is that with V 9.6 no page content shows with these codes – but with 9.22 all is fine.
Hi,
That code appear on your website because you do not have activate the builder with you made the page, usually this is tagDiv Composer or Visual Composer ( now WPBakery ), please make sure that you have those activate after you update the theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
That is quite an an old theme version from which you are updating. Here you can find a changelog for each theme update, to see what has been modified, new features etc
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 (bottom of the page).
This would be the only guide that we created for updating the theme
– https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
The theme requirements guide has been updated as well, please check it carefully and if necessary ask your hosting provider to increase the values of the parameters mentioned in it
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
For the WP memory we recommend a value of 256M. Having low memory may cause such problems, or if using an older PHP version. You can see the values in the theme system status
– http://prntscr.com/n0dwzx
After the update, deactivate/delete all the old theme plugins and install the new ones from the theme package plugins folder.
Update WPBakery (if you used it), the theme package contains version 5.7
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Note that the tagDiv composer introduced in version 8 of the theme, will automatically be installed and activated – https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
Since update 8 this is the main page builder in the theme, WPBakery is still provided in the them package however, for users that want to keep using it.
Maybe consider making a copy or clone of the website (local or in sub-domain) and test there. Update there first and see what happens. Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
I am using the TagDiv Newspaper theme with GDv2.
I want to be able to use post layouts like the link below, in which the listing title is displayed over the featured image as a header.
One problem is that no matter which Template I select from: GD > Settings > Design tab, I get the default post layout in which the Post (CPT) title is displayed right and the top and cannot be styled.
Another problem is that the WpBakery Page Builder is not overriding the content area, so I am stuck with the normal boxed layout, which makes it impossible for me to use the page builder to make the headers that I want.

I don’t use WPBakery page builder though
Simion this error is due to WPBakery Page Builder…
who uses js composer displays it…
you need to adjust js composer or the mobile theme to solve…
Thanks!
Simion,
now is ok because I have turned off ‘SHOW ON AMP’ in the mobile plugin…
to avoid penalisation by google…
in this way however the page amp is without css
The problem is caused by js_composer (wp Bakery plugin).
I’ve been writing the problem for over a week.
Please solve
Thanks!

Thanks for your response…
I can see why I never updated the WP Bakery because I can’t find it.
I downloaded the latest Newspaper update files, looked in the Newspaper updated folder and plugin folder and don’t see a file named js_composer.zip. Is it called something else?
PS…Your support instructions located here seem outdated.
I found plugs ins folder here: Newspaper/includes/plugins not Newspaper-tf/plugins/js_composer.zip file as shown. Still, don’t see the js_composer.zip file you talk about
Thanks

Hi
I activated the mobile theme plugin (with AMP). I get error issues by Google Search Console. When I investigate the website via https://validator.ampproject.org, I get the following issues:
The parent tag of tag ‘style amp-custom’ is ‘noscript’, but it can only be ‘head’. DISALLOWED_HTML
The tag ‘noscript enclosure for boilerplate’ appears more than once in the document. MANDATORY_AMP_TAG_MISSING_OR_INCORRECT
I found out that there is a problem with the js_composer (WP Bakery builder). When I turn off this plugin, everything goes fine, but there are design issues than. I tried also the Tagdiv Composer, but this plugin didn’t work. It isn’t loading.
Website: http://www.ikwilgoedkoopreizen.be
(https://validator.ampproject.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ikwilgoedkoopreizen.be%2F)
Can I fix this plugin issue with additional code?
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Jens

Hi,
That looks like a shortcode, with what page builder was the page built, the tagDiv composer or WPBakery? Maybe the page was initially built with WPBakery and now you have disabled it. Some WPBakery shortcodes will not be recognized by the tagDiv composer, so they will appear as code.
You could remove them in the backend, from the code, but do it carefully
– http://prntscr.com/mxae66
Better to copy the whole content in a new page and do this there first.
Thanks
Looks like it might have been WPBakery causing it.
