Hi,
I checked the website and the only difference I see is related to the padding on columns – https://i.imgur.com/7AgCmwD.png – https://i.imgur.com/IYW4RI3.png if is the same footer then the problem can be caused by an extra plugin and usually this plugin is WP Bakery, please check it and if the plugin is enabled, please disable it and the problem should be resolved.
Thank you!
Later: I found the problem. The old site was build on WPBakery ( the plugin was active), this plugin affected my templates.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks for looking into this.
There wasn’t any weird shortcode added, although trying again to open the TagDiv Composer and just saving the page (no changes made), seemed to fix the problem.
This is probably due to leftover rows from WP Bakery Builder.
I hope this helps anyone having this issue.
Hey,
The site is still using an old header and still WP Bakery. The site hasn’t changed in years, the option works and displays, it pops up when you click on the menu option but when you try to sign in it says that the username or password is incorrect, its not account specific.
Hello,
This depends on you, whether you have used it or not. If you deactivated it and no shortcodes or issues appeared on the site, then you can delete it. What I can recommend is not using WP Bakery anymore, and instead, I recommend using Flex Blocks, instead of the 1 to 25 blocks, as they are much more flexible and offer more options.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please do a test using the main theme, and please disable the WP Bakery plugin, clear the cache, and check if the issue persists.
Thank you!
Hi,
Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins, including WP Bakery, except tagDiv ones. Also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.
Thank you!
I still can’t update wp.bakery. I’ve downloaded the file you sent me, and I’m getting an error, as I’ve told you four times. There are no other plugins in the file you sent me. I don’t understand why you’re not sending me the file to install. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
You need to download the latest version of the theme from theme forest.
You can find the WP Bakery in this path Newspaper-tf\code\other_plugins
Thank you!
Please, could you send me the file of the wp bakery builder 8.3.1?
Hello Benj!
Wp Bakery is deprecated. So, we recommend re-staying your website using cloud templates and can edit the pages with the tagdiv composer.
Please check this option: https://app.screencast.com/ArgH4YjBQPZeC
If you don’t have this option, then you have a very old version that does not allow you to change the headings.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is strange. Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins, including WP Bakery, except tagDiv ones. Also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.
Also, please delete the Redis cache a few times.
Thank you!
Hi,
The vulnerability is fixed in the composer, and a new theme update will be released soon. It will also include the latest WPBakery version. The update should be released next week.
Thank you!

Also The Plugin “WPBakery Page Builder” needs an upgrade (7.9 -> 8.3.1).
Hello @Joe,
This is strange. I did a few tests, and this issue has not happened to me.
Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins, including WP Bakery, except tagDiv ones. Also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.

I will try. But every time I fix the border somewhere, other things break. I must say that I’ve never seen something like this before.
I could just recreate the page in WPBakery in case the borders simply do not work properly in the current homepage. I’ll work on adjusting the coed more, but in case I do not find a solution, I will start rebuilding the homepage in a new page, to see if the same happens there.
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, the Wp Bakery is deprecated. I suggest you use the tagdiv Composer. Please note that you need to redesign the pages with the new builder from scratch or use our styled cloud templates from the Cloud Library. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-use-tagdiv-cloud-library-templates/
Thank you!

Hello!
Did you use WpBakery?
If you used the WPBakery plugin, you should know that it is a deprecated plugin, and you should redesign your website using the tagdiv Composer plugin in its newest version.
For every update, we always recommend the following:
-> First of all, please make sure you have a backup.
-> Please deactivate all the non-tested plugins with our theme before updating.
-> Update WordPress, PHP, the theme, and plugins to the latest version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/.
-> Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
I investigated and it looks like there is some code from WPBakery which sets a white color for the borders https://prnt.sc/Nu-G2annJeee That code is making the borders invisible https://prnt.sc/XISd25MY804o
I checked a bit but I’m not sure from where this is coming from https://prnt.sc/yejuj-lAihsR So I added some CSS to override it https://prnt.sc/ReAyooEmxqr7 Now the borders should appear correctly. Please check again.
Thank you!

We want to border the site and the columns with a gray border (as in the original NewsMag theme) With WpBakery Builder we do not have full control over the frontend (banner with double margins in the column or without right side border)
Can you check the site?
Thank you so much

Hi,
Is the page built with the composer or WPBakery? This could be a conflict. Is WPBakery required for your website or could it be deactivated?
I would like to take a closer look at this. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide access to the website (admin login) and an example of the issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
I just checked now, and the pagination is working, but you have errors in the console.
