Ola guys!
After I update the newspapper theme, I do not see tag div composer when editing the post. For site editing I use WPBakery page builder + MPC addons for WPB. I edit posts using TDC.
Please help!
Hello panchatz,
It is the visual composer plugin. Once I deactivated it, the social icons came back. Please use the wpbakery page builder provided in the theme package, not ‘visual composer’. Please use wpbakery page builder version 5.4.5 provided free of charge in the theme package.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi,
That would happen if the tagDiv composer plugin is also active. Basically if you use WPBakery page builder for pages and posts, the tagDiv composer must be deactivated. Then there will be no problem.
Thanks
Hi,
@EmmyThx Please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. If both WPBakery page builder as well as the tagDiv composer are active, there will be issues.
The single image element will be affected by both of them and the resulting image will not display properly.
Should you decide to use WPBakery as the page builder and posts builder for your website, deactivate the tagDiv composer and there should be no problem.
We do not recommend to use WPBakery page builder for posts, only pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
The plugin version provided in the theme package comes with post support disabled, but it can be enabled in the plugin settings if required.
Posts should be created with the default WordPress editor if possible

Let us know if you have further question, we will try to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
Looks like WPBakery is conflicting with post template. When using it at posts the texts miss the lines breaks and go behind the sidebar. Can you advise how to solve the issue.
I’m using:
Newspaper Version: 8.7.1 with child theme (demo ID: lifestyle)
WPBakery Page Builder Version 5.4.7
Thanks in advance!
Hello Bogdan B.,
I currently have the same issue as Ivan Zumalde. Whichever size I select for a picture in a post is not taken into account and is displayed in a huge way. (example at the bottom of the article: http://lavieduriz.com/pvt-taiwan-bilan-mars/). If this bug is independent from Newspaper theme, then I am sorry to bother you.
It is the first time it happens and I noticed this after the last Newspaper and WP Bakery Page Builder.
You said to Ivan that “Using a page builder on posts was never tested in our theme so I cannot say for sure why this happens.”. If I get this right, you mean that WP Bakery Page Builder (before named Visual Composer) was offered in your purchase package but this option (using it for a post) was never tested? To me, using a page builder makes it better do create a clean post.
Also, could you please, tell me what “mce editor” means? I am not familiar with it.
Thanks
Emilie
You can’t. It works fine, you just need to ignore nag screen. And you can update plugin to new version when theme is updated or you can buy licence from WPBakery (but thats pointless to do just becouse of nag message).
PS:
tagDiv recommend switching to their Composer and that’s probably a smart thing to do since they are adding more and more options to it, but I can’t force myself to do it because it’s not user-friendly compared to WPBakery

No, you should have only one of them enabled. You can use WPBakery or tagDiv Composer, but not at the same time
Hello,
It seems you do not use our own page builder but rather one from PenciDesign This was not tested. The only page builders that are tested to work with our theme are wpbakery and our own tagdiv composer. Other page builders could provide issues, as the one you are facing.
Thanks
Hi
Please visit my site http://www.AccountingCapital.com and scroll to about 50%, under section “Accounting blog” you will see headsings “Assets” “Liabilities” “Revenues” then scroll down “Expenses”, “Basic Accounting” and so on…
All the font awesome icons show on the tagdiv builder and in preview but not on the live site.
I have cleared my browser cache & WP supecache’s cache, but that didn’t work. All I remember doing was activate slider revolution & wp bakery for some reason, but they are not deactivated.
Help me sort this out.
Regards
Sahil
when i want use visual composer it asking activate licence. i.m using Newspaper theme and i have purchased from envato. and licence file include only theme code. how to active the WpBakery visual composer please help me.
Hi,
I am using Big grid full 7 in my page. I am using WPBakery for building my page. Is it possible to have the Big grid full 7 , slide to next set of news (kind of animate or slide to the next ). Is there any plugin that I can add?
Thanks
3. Switching to the tagDiv composer will require that all the pages are recreated with it. Editing a page created with WPBakery with the tagDiv composer, may result in problems with the page, this is highly not recommended.
The tagDiv composer is now the main page builder the theme provides. It will be further integrated with the theme, and more options will be added specifically for it.
Hi,
If that is a page and theme block, note that the font settings available in the tagDiv composer can be different by device. So you can set a font size for desktop
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BNzGapj9
And one for mobile – https://www.screencast.com/t/x1xjUvvAcxr
These settings are not available in WPBakery page builder.
If you use WPBakery you could use CSS to set differ font sizes by width, with media queries. An example topic

– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
The newsletter plugin once activated will add a new element in the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jNLbzruJOiz
That is the only place it will appear, at the moment.
1. If you created page with WPBakery page builder (former Visual composer), these have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer if you want to use it. Do not edit pages built with one page builder with the other, this will cause problems.
The tagDiv composer will have more options in future theme updates and it will be integrated further with the theme. There will be options added for it that will not be available for the WPBakery page builder.
2. When active the WPBakery page builder will appear in these locations
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XlsVEH6IMHBU
If it does not for you, try removing it and install it again. Also as a general note, the theme system status should be set according to this guide for a better functionality
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
@popacombr Hiding the header and footer are not required anymore, since the empty page template has been added and can be selected for the specific pages.
On pages you can now hide elements per device, with the tagDiv composer or WPBakery page builder. A related topic with more information here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-moduleblock-12/
Thanks
1: OK, started regeneration, will take several hours, and I will update you after that
2: Yes, that solved the problem with hiding some elements, thanks
3: I designed whole webpage with WPBakery since I’m already familiar with it from Newsmag, does tagDiv composer have some advantages for instance in speed or? Also, can I now use tagDiv composer just to color headlines and than disable it again?
Hello
In my theme panel I saw there is a plugin activated name is tagdiv Newsletter but I could’nt use. There is no Newsletter button anywhere.
Also I did deactivate tag div Comperessor because of i’m using Bakery Page Builder.
1- I’m using bakery page builder but there is no any theme panel like VisualCompessor. When I clik there is warning for update.But I only can use when I create a new page and there is a button for customize with Baker Page Puilder.
Should I change Bakery Builder to tagdiv Comperssor? and Will I lost anything which i did on my web site
2- Do you think my Bakery Page Builder is broken? Because there is no vc theme panel
3-How can I use newsletter. It’s been already activated but I couldn’t see any button for put on my pages.
Thank you.
Hi Catalin
thanks – but I’m still unclear. For example – my homepage is completely different to the homepage i had ‘out of the box’ with the black demo. I have my own bakery elements, each of which with settings showing perhaps particular categories with animations and borders and padding, backgrounds etc. i have a sidebar with different widgets appearing on different pages and categories, i have pages using accordions and so on. Are all of those settings lost and i just end up with the new chosen demo exactly as it appears on your demo site, so i would have to go through and do all of that development again, or do i have my current homepage, but in different colours/styles?
Hi,
Could be the same issue from here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wp_booster-error/
Note that after a theme update, the tagDiv composer will be activated automatically
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Deactivate it if you use WPBakery page builder.
Thanks
Hi,
That would happen if both composers are active. They have a different functionality for the single image which will result in the single image not displaying properly.
So please deactivate the tagDiv composer when using WPBakery page builder. The single images will display as you wish after doing this.
Thanks
Hi,
1. You can try to regenerate the thumbnails, this process will recreate all the necessary thumbnails
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/regenerate/
2. Depending on the page builder used, both have options to hide elements for specific device. A related topic here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-moduleblock-12/
These are tested and work as expected. As a note, if you use WPBakery page builder to create pages, deactivate the tagDiv composer. The tagDiv composer may prevent the option to hide elements of WPBakery from functioning.
3. With WPBakery page builder that will not be possible. There are no options to color the block title fonts or background. The tagDiv composer has such options.
You could use CSS to color them by block type for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hJiffmUYp
This is the code used in the example
.td_block_1 .td-block-title span{
background-color: red;
}
.td_block_7 .td-block-title span{
background-color: blue;
}
.td_block_4 .td-block-title span{
background-color: yellow;
}
More about using CSS code here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
If the widgets are missing in the Widgets section of WordPress or the tagDiv composer, then the theme might not have updated properly. You could reinstall it by FTP if possible if that is the case
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If the widgets are missing from the page builder you mention, I cannot say why that happens. That page builder is not tested with our theme, we recommend the usage of tagDiv composer as the main page builder at the moment, or alternatively WPBakery.
Thanks
Hello there!
I’m still using WPBakery Page Builder because I’ve not time to make all my pages again on the tagDiv Composer.
The thing is that the image style is not working and not linking properly. The settings are correct but is not working.
Settings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y0eZQZ1UCliyFi9RsZasqwUa6VrjU2lO/view?usp=sharing
How it’s looks: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hd6XqNH_Z6fTRT3-3T5_BVGuB8kU09U3/view?usp=sharing (they were circle, and smaller with thumbail).
please, help me! It happens on all my pages (not entrance).
Thanks,
Flor
Multumesc.
