From what I can see you have a display none property on the social counter block – https://www.screencast.com/t/W7CNXgzp5 in your homepage, and the same property on the sidebar in the single post page – https://www.screencast.com/t/yvCeeS3e So if you want the sidebar to display on the post page you will have to remove that display none code.

Unfortunately, this is the functionality of block 9 to be in 2 columns, sorry! We do not have any such a block with 1 column, sorry! If you want to display more details in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

You can use this code to make the element more compact:

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.
As for the font, you can change module 8’s font for from the theme fonts section:

Well of course there is a reason :). Nothing is arbitrary. The sticky posts were removed because they created layout issues that could not be overcome with our theme modules and blocks. We are aware that it limits a wordpress functionality but our theme also brings much more functionality to the table.

You can create you page using any of the big grids with different styles available – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/ and the same for the blocks – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ Please notice that the big grids and blocks use different thumb sizes, and you could choose the ones with smaller images if that is what you want. There could be multiple causes for this to happen, a plugin, a child theme or some custom css. An easy fix would be to use this css code for the related block only and fix the background and border color and padding but I do not understand exactly how you want it to be, you could modify the code if it is the case, and also add a background color or change the font color.
