I have a few questions about the newspaper7 theme I bought

I am trying to set up my site at http://www.laserbeaver.com
Currently I’m setting up my homepage

I want to have a full width image slider on my page (as you can see, I allready added one there).
But…. If I set the page attributes -> template to Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination then I get the image slider wull width and the Welcome-textblock also full width. BUT… UNDER that welcome block I see that latest articles is coming (intended) and on the right there is the sidebar.

This is not really what I want. I would like to have the image slider full width (like it is now), but the welcome text block and the sidebar should start directly under that image sliding block. Currently the welcome block uses full width too and sidebar only comes UNDER that section.

Changing the page attributes template to Pagebuilder + page title doesn’t solve the problem because I don’t want breadcrumbs and on that setting the sidebar starts allready directly under my header.

Can I solve this somehow ?

Two very important questions for my client

#1 – We want to remove the content copy or body copy that shows up on the front page in Block 11
I tried to go to excerpts and change the content to 0 but it is still showing.

#2 (second time asking this question) The crop on this thumbnail is not Center-top???
It does crop correct in other places – a tag page. On the front page I’m using Block 14

First of all, I would like to say that the widget tagDiv Slide works great since the first day I installed the theme, but eventually yesterday I installed 2 plugin, namely ‘Hide Widget’ and ‘WP Subscribe’. Today I saw the image in tagDiv Slide is ‘droping’ like this: image problem

I used ‘Hide Widget’ plugin because I only want people to see the mail subscription from ‘WP Subscribe’ in single post, etc only, but not on the front page. When I installed both plugin yesterday, everything looks fine and still in one place.

This is my setting for tagdiv Slide and whithout ‘Block title’.

I don’t make any drastic changes except when I installed the 2 plugins above.

I remove tagDiv Slide widget and the mail subscription widget for a while, and I also deactivate ‘Hide Widget’ plugin.

I really like the slide and want to put it back 🙂

I am using Block 9 in the Video layout to list recent items.

There is a lot of bottom padding after each list item.
I have tried to use CSS to remove it, but it does not change the spacing.

I used the style.css file to make the changes.

Is there a different spot where Block 9 calls other styling?

I am an advanced CSS user.

In simple word:
I am adding following code directly at the end of style.css (for various reasons):

and then following code under custom css:

This combination has made everything image captioning awesome except this: https://i.snag.gy/psPuGX.jpg

In usual case ( second image), you can see the imaage caption is positioned well in bottom left but in case of smart lists , the position is distorted ( first image) its not properly aligned. How can I make this work for smart lists too?

Based on suggestions from my previous threads, I was using this code for smart-lists-1, 2 and 7 but it no more works now 🙁

this is actually against the policy of google adsense and it can get your account suspended or block

please help on how to make this not sticky

I followed the directions for how to hide the Author name for the main blog – but it still showing on the home page block of the site.

How can I be sure that all instance of the author name is hidden?

I have it turned off under POST SETTINGS.
