I tried your suggestion and it really works! But, this idea becomes difficult when we want to update the block frequently. I wonder if it would not be better to give the possibility to create a sidebar in widgets for posts.
What do you think about that?

By default our theme does not displays post views on modules and to achieve that you will need some changes in theme’s code. Theme’s layout relays on a fixed width by 1068px and all blocks, modules, rows, columns are made starting from that value. If you decrease the width’s value these elements will be affected and their layout must be re-designed. This is a very complex task which involve many custoizations in theme’s core files and also many tests in order to be achieved.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

We had similar requests before but we didn’t manged to add support for custom taxonomy yet. This is a very complex task which involve many customizations and block’s structure must be changed in order to complete it. We still investigate this and maybe in feature updates we will find a proper implementation.

This is still in our attention but we didn’t added it as an option for the theme yet. However you can achieve a similar result trough a combination in block filters. You can combine category filter with tag filter, basically tag filter will be used as a second category.
You can add a tag, for those posts that you want to display in block, then use in block filter the settings like here: http://screencast.com/t/UmvXAr1q6sLI The theme will display all posts from selected category but only if they have the selected tag.

Yes, it will regenerate necesary media sizes seted in theme panel + block settings + thumbs on modules . And will delate every old not necesary files 😀 ITs amagazing for every time you change your theme 😛

Can you give a clue how to change pagination? I can’t find it in the interface.

Our web host applied the following cludge which has at least dropped our CPU problem and fixed an issue where we had blank screens after posting new articles.

I just put in a block for the admin-ajax.php file, and immediately your CPU usage dropped. I suspect you need to work with your theme vendor to understand why it is POSTing to admin-ajax.php. Once you have fixed that you can remove the .htaccess file at /var/www/vhosts/israellycool.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/.htaccess or I can do that for you.

Hi.
In newspaper, Blocks are made of Modules.
Tagdiv has a nice little plugin that helps you create a new Block and Module.

Keep in mind this plugin is a bit outdated, hence it doesn’t work with the new newspaper version 7.3.
In any case, It’s possible to make it work. Just follow the instructions and not the default files.

Outdated files are:
/css/style.css
/modules/td_module_77.php
/shortcodes/td_block_77.php

In WordPress Panel, choose “Pages” (on the left menu). Then edit the page that you use as “Initial Page”, by clicking on “Edit”.
Now you can click on “Backend Editor” and search for the missing block, or click on HTML tab and search for the unwanted code. Delete it and Save/Update the page.

Hi, I believe you have a slider block calling the Revolution Slider plugin in your Homepage.
You need to edit your Homepage and remove the slider block.
