I successfully update the visual composer but there still exists bugs, like the following screenshot:

The block editor did not show up any function editor for me to edit.
Please help me fix this:)

But I have the latest WordPress upgrade, theme and also VC. I actually upgraded everything two days ago. I have no plugins because this is a local installation I use for testing purposes. Yet block 18 is broken. And it doesn’t happen if I install the previous version of VC. Of course when I install the previous version of VC, all I see is circle turning!

How much does SumoMe affect things like page requests and render blocking? I have it installed and just ran a Website Grader test. The site got a really high grade except for these two things and the lack of an SSL certificate.

When you’re using blog template the elements from Visual Composer can’t be added on page using the page-builder. However you can use do_shortcodefunction to display the big grid on blog page. Here is an example:
– first you need to get the grid’s shortcode. To do that add the desired grid on a blank page, set as you want then click on classic mode button to switch in back-end editor, copy the shortcode and paste inside do_shortcodefunction like here: http://screencast.com/t/GWIAj90xwep

I’ve implemented the changes to the backend and added a new option ‘Filter by categories and block filter’ for blocks (td_config.php)

I’ve added an new case to td_block.php:

I could have done it the lazy way:

But might as well add a proper case.

I’ve also modified td_ajax.php to handle category ids as an array (this is needed for td_data_source.php – see below):

Finally changes to td_data_source.php:

            $wp_query_args['category__and'] = $category_ids;
        }

Checks for $category_ids == array and then prepares query with “category__and” instead of “cat”.

Changes enables you so choose the function with the main block / menu category id as parent for data in sub tabs.

Let me know if you guys want the diffs from code. I’m pretty sure a lot of your customers would love this imho much needed added feature.
