Hi,
A module is not the same as a block. The module is the base element and a block is simply a container for modules. Block 11 does not use module 11. You can see a list of what modules are used on what blocks here: http://screencast.com/t/95I3JzMoIZ
Please apply the modification in module 10 as this is the module used in block 11

If I add i.e a row or textblock from Visual composer I cant remove it, the bin is becoming red, and nothing happens, have tried different role settings without result, plz help, /Staffan

There is no need to add any code to increase the number of characters displayed in posts titles. You can do that from theme panel > excerpts: http://screencast.com/t/999k0KLh You need to increase the indicated number for each module used in blocks on your pages. Hello! I’m using your excellent Travel template in my site, http://www.southamerica-tours.net. I wanted to set a customized background image for the homepage, so I configured it in “Row Settings > Image”, as you can see in the blog. However, the image block has a little offset, moving a few pixels downward.
I’d like to eliminate this little gap between the header and the background image, would you please help me out with this issue, if there’s any option to configure or css style to edit? Thank you and best regards!

I installed a demo and develop my website based on that, I read this in the documentation:
If you decide to change the demo or uninstall it, the import system will make sure that you website is clean: no additional sidebars, menus or content. It will leave you website just like it was before you installed the demo.
My question is: Now that I want to delete all the content, categories, menus, etc that came with that demo, if I uninstall the demo all my customization are lost?

Check to make sure your robots.txt file is not blocking stuff for Google — this includes blocking the wordpress folders! This is #1 cause.
Be sure you have notified Google that the https site is now the primary and http site is deprecated and that you have a full “all content” 301 redirect in place.
Check for errors in the search console / webmaster tools itself — it will tell you if there are sitemap issues; try testing the sitemap and if you get an okay, resubmit sitemap (make sure it’s the https version!).
Not sure that will help.
When I upload an image, it only has the original size on it, it’s not generating the thumbnails. We have them all turned ON in the “Thumbs on Modules and Blocks” admin.

As I understand, you want to override the excerpts from our theme and use the_excerpt wp function in modules and blocks. In order to do this you will need to edit each module file you use on your site (blocks are made out of modules) and add your code instead of our own excerpt code:

As for the images, you can only use images from your media library in the featured image section. There is an alternative however. There are lots of sites with free images that you can use freely on your website.
You can get free HD images from sites like https://eu.fotolia.com/ and https://pixabay.com/

I have added some lines in custom CSS and it now seems to be working fine.
i believe that the td-module-thumb height was same for td_module_mx1 as well as td_module_mx2.
td_module_mx1 is the class for the first image in the block, which is bigger than the other images in the block.
That’s why the video logo was not appearing to be proper in the smaller images, because it was aligned to be in center of the overall image placeholder height, which was same as the height of the big image.
So i added a css to set the height of images in td_module_mx2 and it seems to be working fine now.

The orange arrows in the photo below point to what I am having trouble with.
The first set of category tags are next to the main title “National” in orange. I want to be able to customize the tags where it says National, CNN, Daily Kos, Featured, Fox, Local, etc. I only want my National sub categories to show up here.
The next set of category tags is next to the main title “Local” in green. I want to be able to customize the tags where it says National, CNN, Daily Kos, Featured, Fox, Local, there as well. I only want by Local sub categories to display here.
Basically, I want all of my “National” stories to show up in the National block, and all of my local stories to show up in the “Local” block with the option to choose a specific news outlet to read from. If you only want to see CNN stories in the “Local” section, you would scroll down to the “Local” block and click the CNN category tag.
But right now, it’s not letting me specify the individual category tags. It just uses all of them. I want to be able to customize which ones show up.

I can’t find any big grid 5 on your homepage, only a big grid 4.
To remove the red color when hover over the thumbs from big grid 4 use this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/rqKwLgME I changed the color to white but you can use any color, just change its code:

Hi,
The video post types use a featured video and that is what gets displayed in the top of the post. That is why it’s a video post format. The featured image in this case is grabbed from the video itself so it can be seen on modules and blocks. You can check different post styles in our demo to see how they display:

If you want to get rid of this sticky behaviour, you have to use a bit of CSS code and add some padding/margin on the top of the blocks wich are affected. For better results, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer and to give you a more accurate response.

Unfortunately the subtitle field is not available in visual composer. the subtitle is for posts only. It’s a filed that can be filled on every post, but this option is not available in visual composer. Our modules and blocks do not display the subtitle by default. I am trying to implement a Campaign Monitor form using one of their pre-configured buttons.
I can get it to work on my test server (different theme) http://splendourweb.com/test/

But as soon as I use the Visual Composer, the code won’t work

Similarly, when I try to insert some standard form embed code from Campaign Monitor (using a standard text block), it won’t let me save the page because it wants me to enter something in to the fields – in the back-end. It seems that the editor is trying to render the form and the Page save button is being treated as the form save button.
Please help as we need to go live.
