Edit the blocks and check the block title background color: http://screencast.com/t/CcXkQwaB and changed it other than white as the post titles on hover are set to use the color you set there and tehre is no other option so you can change the hover color there. You could do it via custom css though and set the hover color manually, like this: http://screencast.com/t/r1IxM5MB
Add the below custom css code in theme panel > custom css section an change the color as you wish.

using newspaper 6 theme
I want to change certain things in my website http://www.careongo.com/riseup. Help me out.
1. I have used big grid 1 on the top of my homepage. I want to reduce greying effect of images in this grid. Images are appearing too dark because of greying effect.
2. Just below big grid 1, I have used news tickr on homepage. I want to shift it to the left. Basically, I want it to align with big grid to the left.
3. In header menu, i have a watch category. If I open video posts, there is lot of empty space after the video. how to reduce that?
4. Also on homepage, I want to reduce the padding between different blocks that i have used.
5. How to remove author names from blocks and big grids? As I want to remove for some posts.

Yes the menu problem is solved and you can not see it because i have updated the theme to 6.1 version, but now i am having another problem.

I have been updating my site locally. The migration is going well having followed the guides. Almost done but have 2 small issues that need looking at. All plugins, themes and WP are up to date. I have tested all plugins with no conflicts so far.

1. The new social tab in the admin is great, as are all the other new features, however is it possible to add styling for logo sizes, position and colour in here as well? In the mean time for the footer what styling would I need to match what was in the footer of version 4
2. The tabs for second and third tabs are showing double display the content. A few block options seem to be gone from version4?

To get pictures to fit modules
a) try ‘regenerate thumbnails’ plugin
b) if featured block images size larger than what you’re uploading, try ‘thumbnail upscale’ plugin.
Both super lightweight. And you can disable the regen plugin when you don’t need it. If you need to make stuff bigger; be sure to install b) before doing a) 🙂

I remove the old version and set a new theme. But not display ad units. Only the inscription -Advertisment-. In the block of social links (STAY CONNECTED)sare not displayed data. The footer is also not displayed social icons.

why JS files to be loaded in footer? Even if it is loaded in footer, pagespeed considers it as render blocking. Can it be made async in speed booster plugin?
Is there an option to have the zoom effect on the smaller images on the front page from the blocks?
I assume you’re referring to when the posts are shown in modules/blocks.
I think TagDiv showed how to change that with Newsmag, but I don’t have link handy.
You will need to wait for them to get back in to answer this one.

Aparent numai când este el activat apare problema redirecționării linkului respectiv. Vreo idee despre cum pot să rezolv această problemă sau mă adresez direct dezvoltatorilor acestui plugin?
- Ok, dar eu folosesc style 2 și îmi lipește acum de titlu. Cum pot să le separ – eventual să aliniez blockul?

- E mai complicat – dar o să încerc. Vă recomand totuși ca pe viitor să mutați reclama Articole top implicit deasupra imaginii numai în Style 1, deoarece ea nu are niciun rost dacă apare între titlul și reclamă (mai ales dacă este o imagine verticală)

- De ce Speed Booster îmi arată că este incompatibil cu pluginuri și le dezactivează automat? Cu cât dezactivez pluginuri, cu atât el arată pe altele. Se poate să le văd pe toate incompatibile sau ce să fac să elimin această problemă?

Hi, thank you for your response. Problem was not the addition of blocks using visual composer, but on the page attributes option on right side on the page editor, the option selected was page builder+latest articles+pagination . I changed it to default template and the problem was gone. Then I saw that every page had same problem, and I selected default template for all, and the problem does not exist now. There was no option to set default template from theme panel.
Also please correct in your future version that it does not automatically assign templates to all pages.

Open up the functions.php from the child theme and add 1000 priority to the wp_enqueue_scripts action:

Hopefully the tagdiv team will plug this hole shortly.
I also would like to change the body text size of the WYSIWYG 2 text blocks at the frontpage but cannot find where to change that. The introduction text and text in sidebar.
