in the attached picture you can see my posts in the first top block is again being repeated in the block under it. how do I prevent this and instead have the block below display other posts. want the newer posts in the first block and older posts moving to the block below it

Hi Nagarig, the widget sidebar element from tagDiv Composer is us just to can display the sidebar widgets from appearance, you need to check on appearance> widgets to see if you can set the color for header, but only few elements has this option , for example blocks widgets -> https://i.imgur.com/WfBb0YO.png

Indeed these elements are using other blocks.
A solution for related articles is to use a single post templates, edit it with tagDiv Composer and replace the related articles with a flex block that you can filter it using these options -> https://i.imgur.com/Pj5oLm5.png
Unfortunately for the “more stories” this option can not be done, sorry!

So then we could make changes and update without losing it (I MEAN ALL THE CHANGES. BLOCK STRUCTURE, COLORS, CUSTOM CODE, ETC)? I havent done a child theme and now I see an update, I have been days changing things (custom code for mobile view) included. Can I update the theme WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM?
Can I get back to an old version if updating rewrites changes?
Hi I have two sites both broke after latest update.. first one removed all plugins and site was total trash – i have manually fixed that one… the other one seems to not show any wpbakery blocks….. i can’t seem to fix that.. i havent turned on debug tools yet.. but i suspect I will need to clear some cache or reinstall wpbakery again (which by the way is showing out of date)

Yes, it can be found on each row. BUT, does it do anything on each row with every Block?
I can find hardly any block that is actually adjusted by those row settings.
(And yes, I do mean the one you were asking. As per the title of this forum post.)

So then, updating the theme means not losing any setup made before? I´m using newspaper magazine pro with the standard header, home page, footer, single post/tag/category/ and more (all edited with new colores and block changes).

The “Modified Date” is a new sort options for modules, in order to use it you need to enable this option -> https://i.imgur.com/V0KS1np.png to display the modified date on modules and the order option “Modified Date” will by display in sort section for blocks.
Also please note that there is no need to make changes in theme files for this option, now our theme has the last modified date for posts too, if you use single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer – http://prntscr.com/nqygjo

Hi Nagarig, I’m not the one that consider if a site is or not good enough for showcase, this will consider our developers and designers, not the support staff, that was only my opinion, also if this is not add right now, that dose not mean that it can not be add later. As for these basic sites, I think that were made when the theme was not so big like now and had only few options.

Is it possible to tell certain rows, columns, or blocks that they should hide when the window width goes under a certain size? This would be to make the site more responsive by hiding some elements that don’t fit in the layout when the width is small like on a phone or tablet.
I believe I recall this being possible with an older version of Newsmag; now I’m looking how to do this in Newspaper.

I have a Big Grid Flex 1 block at my home page (https://demo.kamecomunicacion.com/). Although the filter is set for a certain category (“Eventos”), and the sorting is set to latest, I cannot see the same post sortered as they can see at the category page (https://demo.kamecomunicacion.com/index.php/category/eventos/).
Is there an error with the block or did I miss setting something at block properties?
