Thanks. I guess I’ll make up some custom category pages rather than use the auto-generated ones.

Next… I think this is an Adsense question, not one relating to the theme, but just in case….

My home page has 4 ad spots
Header
Sidebar
Custom (in between blocks)
Footer (turned off for desktop)

But ads are only showing in two of them. Even on mobile.

The custom block DOES show an ad if I leave it on AUTO, but the ad comes out square on desktop. NO idea why. If I specify a horizontal banner size, it comes up blank.

I’ll turn on the footer again on desktop, so all 4 are active. Can you look at BangkokHerald.com? The custom ad spot is above the bottom block (Pattaya & Phuket). On my screen, it’s blank.

Perhaps Adsense thinks I have too many blocks? I thought 3 were permissable but your theme has 4, so….

If you are using the latest version of Newspaper v10.3.5 and Mobile Plugin, Go to Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Header -> Disable Live Search.

Didn’t fix it.
I am using the child theme that I got with the downloaded theme, removing the child theme didn’t fix it.

I still get half of the block, only the text part – the form and button dont get imported to the new block.

So far I am struggling to add : a Title + text + 2 icons and text inlined + 4 icons + 1 button in a single block.

That would be fantastic if I could learn how to make that kind of block.

I misunderstood the tutorial. I’ve replaced the block with a flex block. All is now working fine with the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin deactivated.
