Hi nhowarth,

This is not a problem, tagDiv Standard Pack has the blocks and elements before appear tagDiv Cloud Library, if you have one of these on your website and disable it, will be display only shortcodes (this is working the same for tagDiv Cloud Library).
In this way was build the theme.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

As I can see this is from admin ajax -> https://i.imgur.com/Msb59US.png
Usually this issue is related to a firewall or security module which blocks admin-ajax.php request. Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module which blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.

If you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!

Hi aagrlp640,

The options from mobile plugin are similar with these from standard plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/WnHkyBC.png (for blocks) and this for articles -> https://i.imgur.com/PfVeY43.png

This will remove the author from your website on mobile theme and amp.
Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately not our blocks and flex block can display only the image set as featured image -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/

Hi,

Inside the article can be set using this custom css -> https://i.imgur.com/IG5O44f.png
.tdb-caption-text {
position: absolute;
top: -24px;
}
.tdb_single_featured_image .tdb-block-inner {
margin-top: 24px;
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.
But on homepage is set the post title, not the Image Caption, this can be edited only on flex blocks and flex grids with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/pK1xhq6.png and search for meta info https://i.imgur.com/hVeSWLN.png -> https://i.imgur.com/25fRF3J.png

Thank you!

Hi,

This type of block is related to other theme, therefore it can not be achieve the same with ours, you can achieve only something similar, our theme has different blocks, the most similar will be this one -> https://i.imgur.com/JdUTwCc.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Fia1QU9.png all you need to do is to set an image for this set a row like this -> https://i.imgur.com/tj9mrKz.png after that set an inner row in that empty column like this -> https://i.imgur.com/CpR8N8Q.png now drag and drop one of the below elements and set an image, the results will be like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Z0XSw5t.png now will remove the space -> https://i.imgur.com/ChZBGZk.png-> https://i.imgur.com/JilerPW.png and the results will be like this -> https://i.imgur.com/o3fsjsH.png

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,

As you can see on this capture, i didn’t manage to translate the “More” string, used in this “Block 7” element:
https://ibb.co/dP2LXD7

As you can see on this capture, i properly chose a translation for this string, but it doesn’t work:
https://ibb.co/2g4DWPf

All other translations are OK.
Thanks for your help,
Regards,

Well let me ask here maybe a different question maybe:
In my theme home page and in my posts, I have several areas (I guess it’s called blocks or flex blocks) where there are the images and the title for the articles on my websites. Each of these, by default, displays the image I have set in the features image. Is there a way for me to place an Instagram embed code instead of a regular simple image upload?

Hi,

In separate blocks, flex block is the option I use.

However on the category page, I need that to image for the articles in the category.

In other words, I want to change the images in the listing “Posts Loop”

How edit elements in the “Posts Loop” area?

Or is the solution to remove the “Posts Loop”and create the same with the one element flex block (defining filter by category, add pagination, …)?

Thank you!

Hi Calin, thank you for your answer.

Ideally I would like to achieve this exact same look: https://imgur.com/5sH2aGo

Including: image + text + button + the “Last Minute” title you can see in the picture.

What would be the best approach with tagDiv composer to create this kind of block?

(That would be really nice to have this kind of block available by default in a possible theme for an “trip/activity theme” in the future)

Thank you Calin!

Hi,
I try the solution indicated, but don’t work.

I defined the “BACKGROUND UPLOAD” field with an image to represent “image without image”, but in my category page, element “Category Grid 2″ show a firt article with:
<span class=”entry-thumb td-thumb-css td-animation-stack-type0-2″ data-type=”css_image” data-img-url=”MYURL/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/images/no-thumb/td_1068x0.png” style=”background-image: url(MYURL/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/images/no-thumb/td_1068x0.png)”></span>

where MYURL is my domain.

Remind that occurs in a article category page with standard template.

I also indicate that I have already defined the image to represent an image without an image, in “BLOCK SETTINGS” -> “Thumbs on Modules / Blocks” -> “THUMB PLACEHOLDER”.
Which is working correctly except in the area “Category Grid 2” in standard category page.

I want to add filter in articles blocks that will show articles from category with the parameter that they have featured image. If they do not have they will not be shown

Is there a way to force a custom image for all articles without image?

Hi,

The best way it will be to use a flex block -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ on this you can select and adjust the image -> https://i.imgur.com/uxNW1mR.png

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Hi,

You can achieve something similar using tagDiv Composer, also you can import a section -> https://i.imgur.com/sCWBBkZ.png or a block from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer.

Thank you!

Hi,

All blocks use filters for posts/categories ->https://i.imgur.com/7vvViKK.png these can be edited using tagDiv Composer, if you have a PRO Demo, you can edit the entire layout with tagDiv Composer (PRO Demos are using cloud template).

Thank you!

Hello !

We recommend you to use Flex Blocks for this: https://www.screencast.com/t/wf0tj04g3 ;

You can add more flex blocks and use the offset function and the preloading.

Thank you !

Hi,

You can see the module by editing the page with tagDiv Composer and click on flex -> https://i.imgur.com/otYcovY.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/AMK7b9c.jpg
Also there is no filed for flex blocks and flex grids in theme panel these can be edited with tagDiv Composer, these can take a general font if are set on default, or individual -> https://i.imgur.com/huCwtGk.jpg

Hi,

By default our theme will generate thumbs for modules inside the blocks and grids, in this way the image will adapt and look well on all elements and viewporst you are using.

If you are using mobile theme, then you’ll use only two thumbs -> https://imgur.com/vwVIXUg here the mobile grid will display the largest image and the other one is the block for the smallest one.

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

Please note that cloud templates and elements can not be import in widget area, these can be imported as templates or blocks in pages or templates using tagDiv Composer.
You can use only the elements that are in widget area.

Thank you for your understanding!
