Hello,
I’m glad that you found the block to achieve what you want.
Have a great day!
Hello,
Can you please let me know about what blocks you say? Here on the desktop I see the title and buttons -> https://i.imgur.com/ReDrUfG.jpeg or maybe you have resolved it.
Thank you!
CSS and JS styles show via the “Stackable – Gutenberg Blocks” plugin in the font end <div class=”td-excerpt”>
How can I fix this? I want to show text between the <p> and </p>
Hello,
You can create a module and add a custom field where you can set your own fields there -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
Thank you!
Hello,
If you need to make an update, before please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesnât appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
â Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
â Delete the weird/unknown themes;
â Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example â https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
â Clean WordPress files (example â https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code â https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
If you want, you can contact our custom work team here, and they can help you update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
Hello Bhanu Srivastav!
1. In the mobile viewport, there is a modal popup, and it can be modified from here: https://app.screencast.com/fRsnDrE6AdPVN -> view and edit it with the tagdiv Composer.
Suppose you check the menu in the Appearance -> Menus. Click the courses, and there you can see the page ID used there: https://app.screencast.com/97p31pKgCjCcH
2. Edit the page with the tagDiv Composer, ensure the shortcode plans switcher is present, and choose a plan. On the right side, there is the plans button shortcode, and you need to choose a valid free plan there.
3. Edit the blog page with the tagdiv Composer, and check the block if you have any offset, delete it, or use a flex block instead of the posts loop shortcode. Check if you have the posts assigned to that category and if they are published posts.
4. You should have the Contact Form 7 plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Can anyone please help with making these kind of vertical lines with the blocks between articles?
I figured it out, use the flex block builder instead of the flex loop builder. that way you can use your own modules but have category filtering!
Ok, IÂŽm using Flex Block 5, Flex Block 1 and cloud templates.
Issues still happening. Any other advice?

Hey hello,
Somehow I can’t change some general block settings in Tagdiv Composer anymore. For instance: Custom title, Title url: Limit post number: Offset posts: Open posts in new tab Show modified date
Can you help?
regards, Koert
EXAMPLE LINK: https://tonylaubach.net/category/storm-chase-logs/chase-logs-2024/
Was wondering if there was a way to display custom meta fields in the BLOCK lists? In the link above, it has the title of the post, below that title is AUTHOR and DATE. Was hoping to add a couple fields to display on that line and was wondering if that was possible either in some options OR by adding it via code?
Love the product so far, and people love the design. So, Thanks!
I have a Flex Block 1 on our front page at https://www.justhacking.com. As you can see, I have 4 sections within the block. This was part of a pre-made template, so this block was already there. It doesn’t show the titles and buttons until you hover over the block. I’ve been through all of the settings, but I can’t figure out how to make the titles and buttons show all the time without the need to hover. It’s a cool effect, but then on mobile our visitors don’t see the titles and buttons at all.
Thanks in advance
Hello I’M USING URBAN OBSERVER PRO TEMPLATE https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_urban_observer_pro/
I’m current editing a full content website with over 100s of post and 20 or more catagories.
How do I change the content of posts or categories in each of the flex block sections like in the Urban observer por template has the 3 first post section/4 post flex block section underneath/like the top 5 post section/Don’t miss block section and etc. It seems like in the demo the content keeps repeating the same lot of 3 post in each of the flex block sectionals when i have hundreds of diferent posts. I would like to use all of the demo block sectional designs and not change the design aspect but only change the content posts and stop the using the same post over and over in each section please help? Thanks
Hello! I created a lightbox for my portfolio gallery, which works fine. However, I am trying to create a new lightbox gallery, which is not working. I have searched on YouTube for tutorial but have had no luck!
The new gallery opens the image in a light box, but I can’t navigate to the next image. I have to close the image and open the next one.
Is there a good tutorial to help me understand why the photo gallery is not working?
Here are my steps.
Here are my steps:
Create a new page, block insert, Gallery, Select images, and link to the image.
You can see the working gallery here:
https://santosramos.com/
You can see the not-working gallery here:
https://santosramos.com/gallery/
Also, is there a way to change the size of the thumbnails?
Thanks!
We are experiencing an issue where captions are not appearing on the frontend.
This issue occurs for our older posts that were written in Classic Editor and have not yet been converted to Blocks in Block Editor.
This is leaving us open to litigation for not fulfilling image license obligations.
All captions appear perfectly on posts written natively in Block Editor and for posts that were written in Classic Editor but have since been converted to blocks. We have thousands of articles and cannot enter each one to manually convert it to blocks.
The issue occurs on our default post template which is set to show captions. There is no need to change the template to make the captions appear, only the conversion to blocks.
Example: https://dutchreview.com/news/crime/hand-grenades-in-amsterdam-whats-up-with-that/
Can you please assist with either: a way to ensure the captions appear or a way to bulk convert to Blocks?
Thanks for your help!
Hello,
Are you referring to the posts? You can create a single post template as you want https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ You need to create the content of the post in Gutenberg, but how it looks you can assign a template as you want -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m8-EebnfM0
The pages with the block you can created them with tagdiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello Greg,
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/
Also, you can create a new page and check if the issue persists, maybe there was some misconfiguration when it was created. You can also delete the elements/blocks that you don’t want with right-click.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend creating your own module, and in this way you can set the author where you want https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
Thank you!
I have followed these instructions exactly (https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/) and even thought the logo shows as a thumbnail in the “Logo Image” section of the tool bar and the image is set to “Show” the logo will still not appear on the website or even the edit page. It defaults to the 9 block tag div default logo. Why will it not appear? What am I missing? Could you let me know please?
Hi Anamaria,
Sorry, will be more clear about this:
Creating a page in Newspaper template is different from creating a page in WordPress (block) editor.
So we have two kind of pages in WordPress
1. a page that is created with Newspaper composer elements
Displayes content that is configured by Newspaper composer elements
2. a page that is created with the WordPress (block)editor
Displays content as a standard individual page, with most of its layout not showing the standard configured composer elements layout.
What I would like to do is to create a page (image right), with content text (1) and surrounded by different composer elements (2,3,4,5,6) which are different from the same ‘page’ when created with a blog category article (image left) and part of the fixed Newspaper template layout. And _only_ for that specific WordPress page.
Reason for that is, that this (2) page can contain different configured composer elements.
See example linked @ https://imgur.com/a/ShBl0f2
Hope this helps đ

Hello,
We’ve added this cache option on blocks precisely to avoid such issues https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/ . From what I’ve noticed, you’re using this option, but I saw that the Standard Pack plugin is still active, which could also impact performance. So please check if you’re using blocks 1 to 25, Big Grid, the standard template for header, footer, categories, posts, and so on, and replace them with Flex Blocks and Cloud Templates, and disable this plugin. Also, you can use a plugin to optimize the database https://hostadvice.com/how-to/website-builders/wordpress/how-to-optimize-wordpress-database-using-wp-sweep/
Thank you!
Hi,
You need to set the special filter with category â current category -> https://i.imgur.com/U9YF80Q.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please edit the search page with the tagdiv Composer, click on the results(Posts Loop element) and delete the value of the offset posts. Let it empty with no space no value: https://app.screencast.com/Gh9jDf6t0XtLS
If you use a flex block there, then please set the special filter there Search â Current search.
Save the changes and view the results.
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
For each category, on the flex block there is a special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/
Please check the block with âNo postsâ and delete it the offset number; leave it empty with no space or value: https://app.screencast.com/Gh9jDf6t0XtLS
Thank you!
Hello,
Please let me know if you use standard templates, blocks 1 to 25, what plugins you use, what resources your server has, and what PHP version you have. Also, please provide the link to your website.
Thank you!
