Hi,
Our block and grids can display custom post types, you have to enter the post type name in the required field
– https://www.screencast.com/t/opOXn6fJoT
Then the block will display posts with that custom post type. A thing to note is that currently there is no filter by taxonomy, only a category filter for default posts.
Also for custom post types the settings will be limited
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Maybe in future updates the theme will improve in this matter, and offer more options when using custom post types.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately, the footer you have set is can not be customized.
But, you can set the footer style 3 and set footer 2/3 widget ( footer style 3 can be customized ).
In order to do that please go in Newspaper>Theme panel>Footer select style 3 and save settings ( https://www.screencast.com/t/qSAuPXqDT ), after that you’ll need to go in Appearance>Widgets add [tagDiv] Block 7 in footer 2 ( https://www.screencast.com/t/BkluN5kkT6i click on filter ( https://www.screencast.com/t/ovdDaDb8v ), and in footer 3 add the [tagDiv] Popular Category .
Hope this will help you.
Thanks.

This element is – PostLoops & also Block 5.
I want to change the title tag of homepage blocks to H2, please tell me how to change from H3?
I have installed a demo. I found some block-settings that I like. I right click, type a name for the short-cut and saves.
Then uninsall the demo. Is it true that the short-cuts disappears after the demo i uninstalled? It seems so.
Hi,
If you refer to the middle section of footer then you’ll need to go in Appearance>Widgets expend “Footer 2” click on [tagDiv] Block 7, click on filter ( https://www.screencast.com/t/ovdDaDb8v here you can find documentation for Filter Tab : https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ ), after you set this, click on done and save.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please try this custom css:
.td_block_template_8 .td-block-title > *:before, .td_block_template_8 .td-block-title > *:after {
background-color: #a14c75;
}

Thanks.
Hi,
Predefined blocks and grids (all except flex blocks and grids) will use predefined thumbnail sizes, cropped by center top. The results will be different according to module used and also affected by the image aspect ratio
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Only with the flex blocks and grids you could control the images by some parameters. You could experiment with the flex blocks and grids which have options to manipulate the image
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JqcubPWxoZ
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MF6tn1kSSunH
There are quite a few block and grid designs created by our team which you can use, we will add grids as well. These are based on the flex blocks and grids

– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
Hi,
1. First make sure the general meta you want to display is enabled in the general block settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yHHNBnc1DfS
Then in the flex block setting you can enable/disable the meta
– https://www.screencast.com/t/whPPwhWI
If all of these settings are enabled and the meta is not displaying, please provide a link to the website where this is happening so I can take a look.
2. That sounds like a caching issue. Try to clear the cache of your plugin or server provided cache after you make a setting. That should refresh the website. The theme by itself has no caching.
Thanks
Hi !
I ran a scan and my security plugin found this :
* This file may contain malicious executable code: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_ajax.php
* This file may contain malicious executable code: wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php
The reason it gave me : there are eval function in both those php files.
It could just be false positives, or maybe simple bugs.
Can anyone help me ?
Thank you
I have last version but my block is called Big Grid Flex 2 and rthere is no such options.
Anyway the task is solved. THANK YOU!
Hi,
If you want to display posts from a category and remove the posts included in one of it’s sub-categories, first add the parent category ID (ex. Fashion category: 341) and after it place the sub-category ID (ex. Daily subcategory id: 342) with a ‘-’ symbol in front, like it’s shown in the image. If you decide to use the ‘multiple categories filter’, the standard Category Filter will be ignored.
Please check the Filter Tab documentation from Block settings tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thank you.
Hi,
The composer has not been designed or meant to be used with feeds. Can’t say if that is possible. We have not made any testing in the matter, sorry for any inconvenience.
All the blocks, grids and other post displaying elements are designed to be used with self published content with assigned categories, tags etc to allow filtering and sorting. These have no settings to pull or display external content.
Thanks
Hello Theresa Ream,
Here is talking about a block name which can be set up from editor page, when you use the TD Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1zrY7OrV4 Also, the Social Counter can be managed from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fSdF3DHJavX
Here is talking about Footer menu which can be removed from Menus, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2rUOYFuHG
Check the general settings from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/enskhaeOm and check the Show Avatars.
Thanks.
Hi,
I have set all my featured images in 16:9 ratio, i would like to display the images with element BLOCK 12 and GRID 2 also in this aspect ratio, how can i achieve this?
thanks!
I use a CI process based on the version set in the main php file. Why is it the same version 4.4 and 4.4 (i understand that the built on date is different) but the hash is different? Couldn’t you have updated it to be 4.4.1 on the later of the two?

1) Article meta info not showing in flex block. Just only showing the category.
2) When i make change something and then refresh the site it stay same for a long time as previous setting.
That is a modified flex block 1.
Thank you!
With your method it desapears from 4 right blocks, but not from big left one.
But it is ok for me.

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the border color of a particular block title with custom CSS? Specifically, I am hoping to change the border color of a title adopted from a widget element (used with a plugin). Unfortunately it does not give me the option to change border color in the widget itself. Here’s what I’m trying to change:
Furthermore, I wasn’t able to find the border color element during inspection, so I was hoping that the tagDiv team could help with some code or a different workaround, if there is indeed a solution.
Hi,
If this is what you desire https://www.screencast.com/t/atbfGs0XMOi then replace the above css with this one:
.td-footer-logo, .block-title, .td-post-category, .td-author-counters{
display: none;
}
thanks.
Hi,
Please check the layout from flex block 2 ( https://www.screencast.com/t/ssmQqZgrjsw ), in section Article meta info hide the categories.
Thank you.
Hi,
1. That’s unusual, so this happened after the update and by it’s own? Looks like there still is a gradient set for the modules. That gradient is set in the flex block->style settings-> module color overlay
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Qqve5oIE
If no value is added manually there should be no gradient.
2. I see the problem you mention, I will add it on the list and it will be investigated and a solution will be found. A solution which will work is to make a small modification in the cloud library plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pYTJrvtuLyz
Remove the condition as shown around the code, then if the value is at 50% (default) the images will be truly centered. Let me know if this works, in my tests it seems to work.
Sorry for this inconvenience, it will be fixed.
Thanks
Hello imbob,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add some ads through modules in a block, but only through paragraphs inside a post, sorry! -> Articles Inline Ads.
Also, if you want to achieve that behavior, you should add some Ad Boxes between your blocks to achieve as you wish.
Thanks for your understanding!
