Hi,

That is a hover effect specific to our big grids. It could be used for blocks if that is what you want. For example a code like this will affect most of the modules
https://www.screencast.com/t/tfYfQkGpHYRh

You can experiment with it, this is the code used
https://pastebin.com/t47gyfyu
You can also make it more precise, for specific blocks/modules if needed.

Thanks

Hi,

Could be something specific to that page. try with a different page, a simple page with a block for example, or an empty page even.

If the same happens, try to deactivate all your plugins as a quick test, then try again.
In case the problem remains, please send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look.
Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi,
Im trying to make a new page with tagDIV composer. But 5 secs after the edior and workspace is opened, the right side of the page turns grey. I can not do anything, like adding elements or blocks.

Do you have any idea whats causing this?

Hi,

There are other problems as well, even in desktop. For example the header search does nothing, block pagination doesn’t work.

I would suggest that you first disable the Cloudflare rocket loader, this can cause problems with the theme, we recommend that it is kept disabled
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
After you deactivate it, clear all caches and purge the files. Check if this solves the problem.

Thanks

Hi,

The article titles in all modules will be h3, that is how they are defined in the theme code. Block titles are h4 and post titles are h3.

If you want to change the h3 in h2 you will have to make the modification in this theme file
http://www.screencast.com/t/BJwFFY2YLV
Once you modify there all modules will be affected.

Thanks

Hi,

You could maybe try other booster plugins, or render blocking plugins. Make tests with them, they might also have more options and settings.

Our plugin will automatically deactivate itself if it detects plugins that are not part of a predefined list in it’s code
https://www.screencast.com/t/2DORngA6lc
This check could be deactivated and it will be active permanently, but that may cause problems with some plugins

Thanks for taking time to look into this. I’ve had a look at all your links and yes that is the issue. however, before I open up a forum topic perhaps it’s worth asking this:

This post, for example, is using one of your default templates and is working fine. https://wmw-dev.co.uk/police-seize-uninsured-scrambler-from-young-person/

What adsense code is that default template adding into the page content that I’m doing differently? I was just copying and pasting the full adsense code block which is obviously wrong. It’s being done correctly in your default template. I can’t see what I should be posting instead?

Thanks,

Naomi

Hello,

Usually this happens if your adsense is new and the ads are not yet delivered by google. In this case you must wait until the ads are actually delivered. You can also have adblock on in the browser 🙂

Thank you!

Hello,

Please make sure that you have correctly installed that functionality.

Those other popular sorting methods (all time popular and 7 days popular) are provided by the theme. They will work with the other block settings and pagination.

The all-time popular simply needs to be selected and it will start working. Post views need to be active so the most popular posts can be displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/se3ZckCRSI5W

The 7 days popular has a dedicated setting in the theme panel that has to be active
https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
Post views also have to be active. Once the sorting is activated, the count will begin. As posts gather views they will show up in the block, grid etc. that uses this sorting.

One thing to mention is that this 7 days sort may not work properly or at all when a caching plugin is used.

Thanks for the message!

Hello interfans,

You should target only that Block from this page. I suggest you to use the Inspector Browser to create your own custom CSS code from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

In order to show a custom post type in the standard category taxonomy you will need to create a custom category page template using the cloud library plugin and create content block that can show other post types besides the standard ‘post’.
Please read this guide to learn how a block can show other post types: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hello csmithfcedge,

I have inspected your website and I saw that your ad seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LoZoQMZxDK45 If you have an Ad Blocker installed, ensure that you have turned off it.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi, is there a workaround for SpeedBooster? It seems to be the only remedy for Render Blocking js/css issues but the plugin conflicts with many many other necessary plugins, even basic WP ones like Askimet.

Will this process work with conflicts?
5. Remove render blocking css/js – using the TagDiv SpeedBooster plugin (advanced users)

Render block is heavily penalized in SEO. I would be surprised if there is no workaround.
Thanks for any insight anyone may have.

Does tagDiv Composer have a tabbed content option/block?

Thanks.

I have setup my page using TagDiv Composer which is a great plugin. All of my post titles for different blocks are aligned left except for block 1. In block 1, module 4’s titles are centered. How can I align them left? I am trying to get it similar to your demo here https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Thank you.

Hello,

I have a problem with the AMP-Version:

Google Search Console says it have over 500 Errors with the IMG-Tag:

The tag “img” is only allowed as a descendant of the tag “noscript”. Did you mean “amp-img”?

Examples:

https://salzsau-panorama.de/2018/05/11/polizeibericht-vom-11-mai-2018/amp/

https://salzsau-panorama.de/2017/11/13/viel-zu-tun-fuer-feuerwehren-der-sg-scharnebeck/amp/

What can be the reason for the Errors?

Of course I have used only that text

<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

I work as linux admin.

Hi there,

I have problem with popular last 7 days po sorting. Widget is showing on 1st and 2nd place posts that has been published 5 and 3 years ago and no one read them anymore. I have active “7 days post sorting” option in Theme Panel -> Block Settings. I also updated theme from 8.8 to 9.0.1 but it didn’t help.

Anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?

Thank you that worked.
Are the actually shown on all blocks but you need to find the CSS selector and show them with display:block?

k49ivanov
tagDiv Member

Set up the below code in .htaccess!
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

That string makes 500 error.

We websitehas no errors in system status. All is set correctly.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want that meta to by show in all blocks and modules from that big block, that can be done just manually, you need to put this code in custom cod css (Newspaper > theme panel > custom code > custom css https://www.screencast.com/t/qI6j0I6s)
.td_block_big_grid_8 .td-small-thumb .td-module-meta-info {
display: block ;
}

see the results : https://www.screencast.com/t/0Y2XHUo53

Thank you.

Hello again,

So I double-checked the adsense code snippet. It’s correct.

1. Ads added using tagdiv blocks on the homepage insist on appearing as squares, even though the space would suggest they should be long and thin. These are Custom Ads 1 and 2 and the code snippet I’ve pasted into theme panel is:

<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({
google_ad_client: “ca-pub-3503819165109177”,
enable_page_level_ads: true
});
</script>

Auto size is definitely on for all screen sizes. I haven’t changed any sizing from the default setting of auto.

2. Into my Cloud Template – property category (so still using the link/example from my previous post) I’ve copied and pasted the code for the ad from sidebar which I know is working. This is done using TagDiv Composer and editing the ad positions that you access when you click on “sample post content” within the template editor. I want the ads to appear top of the article, inline (after 3 paragraphs) and article bottom of the property posts. (I’ve now removed the titles from ads so you don’t see the positions marked anymore). Still not appearing.

3. Copied the ad code from the article top ad position (property template) and adding it to sidebar ad within theme panel. Saved. Refreshed. Sidebar ads do still appear.

4. Not sure I’m doing this right. Created new page. Opened in tagdiv composer. Added ‘Column text’ element. Copied my ad code snippet (the one that works for sidebar) into the ‘edit content’ editor – text view rather than visual. saved. I see nothing other than the block title? https://wmw-dev.co.uk/test-ad-page/ (Also added an adspot – sidebar) and that seems ok.

Any thoughts and advice much appreciated?

Thanks,
Naomi

Hi,
Yes they are active but still doesnt show up.
If you look at your demo page on https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/
You see that the 2 big blocks show Author and Date but not the 5 small ones.
Same on my page.

It seems to be “MODULE MX12” that the block setting dont apply to..

Hi,

That to be show Author and date you need to torn it on from theme panel; I will guide you to do this, first select Newspaper > theme panel > block settings > meta info on modules/blocks expand it and enable the meta you want to be seen in your page, then press the save settings button ( https://www.screencast.com/t/Sncx467Q77v ); after that the meta will appear on your blocks and modules.

Let me know how it’s work.

Thank you.
