To resolve this problem please go to wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_17.php and replace the code from that file with the code from here – https://pastebin.com/3n2rLRT0 or contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary wp-admin access to the website and we’ll make the modification for you.
Also, the fix will be in the coming theme update.

Hi,
I just updated Newspaper theme to version 12.6.7 and the accompanying plugins. I found an error at Block 17 when the posts could not be displayed. According to my test, the source code of the shortcode is used for block 17 at the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin version 2.6 has an error when in the render method to call the inner method. The arguments that are transmitted to the inner method are not in the right order between $td_column_number and $limit arguments.
Hope you review the source codes to avoid the same errors.

I recommend using the Flex Block and this filter -> https://i.imgur.com/i7bSAb6.png. If you have a post in the Roma category, it will display the posts from that category; if the post is from the Paris category, it will show posts from that category.

What I can suggest first is to clear all cache and disable the cache plugin and after that check if the theme plugins are enabled, you need to have tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library (I’m sure that now you have them) and fir standard blocks like block 14 you need to install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.

Set up your thumbs from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks. If you deactivate a dimension from there, next time when you will upload an image, it will not be resized to that dimension.
After changing the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/

My website is agitationrising.com. I use Hostinger as my hosting. I have 100g of disk space available through Hostinger. But 90% is being used. I’m largely tech illiterate when it comes to this stuff. The big issue I see when I look through the disk space is everytime an image is uploaded, it gets re-sized multiple times and all are then saved onto the drive taking up space. I think this is because of the settings in the Thumbs on Modules/Blocks in the block settings. I originally turned them all on so no errors would show up on the front end. But I don’t remember what the default settings are to change them back because it’s just creating too many files. I’m also using the tagdiv instagram widget. Everytime I upload something on instagram, a dozen images get saved on my website. Any help is appreciated.
Yes, I did the update for theme and plugins but for some reason the posts do not follow the white text on black background, the titles turn orange on mouse over but are invisible. Also as I mentioned the options I use for displaying content on pages are no longer in the options like Flex_Block 4 or Block 14.
The logo doesn’t appear at the top of posts or interior pages only on the home page.
Hey! I noticed certain blocks, homepages, pages and sections are not available on the Pre-Designed Templates – Cloud Library, specifically the Office Nexus Pro when using the TAGDIV Composer.
I wanted to use some of the specific blocks, pages and sections on a pre existing theme I have. The Office Nexus Pro theme does show up on the dashboard – Newspaper – prebuilt website.
Can you help? I have also made sure I have all of the recent updates.

Unfortunately, you can not add a custom shortcode in the module templates. This module is like a flex block. For example, it is only for design, not functionality.

Now in case that it is related to the related articles and more from author tab then there is no option in the theme to change that SEO tag, sorry.

in the home page there are several blocks and each one has a filter for displaying posts.
As you can see, both these blocks are showing the same posts whereas i would like that the second block should display the second page.

Question: how can I set the second block starting from the second page and the first one? It should work as a block displaying the the next set of posts of the main one.

I use a black background and white text and now after the update all of the posts that were already posted have gone back to black text on black background.
I tried placing custom CSS to force black background and white text but no luck. Also The logo image no longer appears on pages or posts after the update but appears on the home page.
I did try resetting to the previous version but that left the site completely broken.
How do I make the text on all pages and posts as well as archive, tag and category pages WHITE with a BLACK BACKGROUND?
How do I make the Logo appear at the top of every page and post?
Also it seems like the “Flex-Block 4” and “Block 14” are gone from the options for building pages?

If you use a flex block there, then please set the special filter there Search – Current search.
Save the changes and view the results.

Make a test and deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.
Update the theme, WordPress and PHP version.

Hello, we have the following problem with our site:

I understand that a lot of the style rules are used for other devices and for that are deemed unnecessary by the google report (when checked in pc).
But, is there a way to better the score? A simple suggestion from them, for example, is to not have a media=”all” attribute since it is considered render-blocking (for the report). So, could this be done or would it affect anything? And if yes, from where? Could it be removed or changed to media=”screen” maybe?
And could there be any additional suggestions/fixes that we could implement? Thank you!

I’m unsure if this is a Newspaper theme issue or a WordPress update issue, but since updating to WordPress 6.6 the theme’s post settings panel seems to be in the way.
For example, when adding a hyperlink to text, when I try to click the edit link button it should show a panel allowing me to select open in a new window. Since the update, the link settings panel has been opened behind the post settings panel. The only way I can get around it is to press return/enter to add additional blocks to give the panel space.

It’s the same when trying to add a new block underneath embedded videos or galleries. I can’t click in the space below to start a new paragraph, I have to add one further up the page and the block down below the embed.
