Hello,
I created a Shop Page with the Visual Composer and everything is fine except for a block that is appearing in the bottom, as you can see here: http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img922/417/CQWbUj.png (marked in a red box), and I don´t know why it is appering there.

Hi, I’m having a hard time making the photos responsive.
In blocks they are not adapted to width and height, as each box has a size.
How do I make an image fit any image-box size?

Yes. We have a dedicated server, and have been doing our own server management since 1996, and webdev since 3/95, and using WP since Dec 2004. VC caused CPU spikes, more RAM usage, and on two occasions major security vulnerabilities. On our old server (prior last August), we would get bizarro CPU spikes where system would go from 0.7 load to 72.0 !
We were early adopter of the “shim” that Radu came up with, to make Newspaper run for home page blocks without using VC. This evolved into TDC, which was in BETA last year, and we have been using since then. We are using it on numerous sites and refuse to use VC for anything, regardless of its popularity.
Of course, we have high traffic news portals, found in Apple News, Google News, Bing News, (main site syndicated worldwide from 250+ other news sites, top 10 social platforms, etc.), and so we get a lot of traffic, which means a lot of queries.
Besides all of that … the biggest change was moving fully to PHP 5.6.x and no longer using PHP 5.4 for anything in prep for PHP 7.0.x. 5.4 is a dog compared to 5.6, and frankly nobody should be using it anymore for WP, certainly not for VC; and anybody using 5.3 and 5.2 will likely get hacked at this point.
In our case, dedicated server, PHP 5.4, Apache, Linux, any theme with VC => DOOM!
And yes, if you look at the specs posted by TD, they have tested TD against VC for speed — and since it has lower footprint, less code bloat, etc., it’s faster. QED.
My opinion based on our sites and millions of page views. Your mileage may vary.
A few days back, I changed my site look and installed ‘Voice Report’ demo ( full demo with content) on my site. Though everything worked I am facing issue with a few thing.
One of the properties of this Voice report is that it cuts the edge of thumbnails/featured image like this: http://i.imgur.com/xBYZcK0.jpg
but when I used a block under sidebar, the thubnails/featured didn’t had this round-edge ( http://i.imgur.com/LE25EOW.jpg )
Surprisingly enough, in few more examples, sometimes, it cuts the edge of image and sometimes it don’t.
Why is it happening randomly? Am I missing something important? Kindly help me this.
I know that it’s difficult to check these things without looking at the live website. So, I have sent you the login access to my site along with the link to concerned post to check this issue.

With the help of a tutorial written here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/implement-infinite-scroll-on-single-posts/ and by using some common sense, I was able to apply infinite post scrolling on a single post.
Here is the step I took for this:
1. I am using TagDiv composer for the pages but to be able to use infinite scrolling on a single post, I have to enable Visual Composer for posts.
2. I wanted block-3 design and my default post type is: Style-1 so, I edited loop-single-1.php, I added the required code
Here is the code that you need to add under loop-single-1.php after <?php echo $td_mod_single->related_posts();?>

Though it worked properly, but I face two main issues.
1. I am using smart sidebars on each post and usually, it works great. With this infinite scrolling. I noticed that ‘The smart sidebar’ keep scrolling even above the full width infinite scrolling post blocks, and hence it overlaps.

How to make smart scroll stops once infinite scrolling starts? I noticed that this site ( http://www.storypick.com/short-film-affair/ ) is successfully able to use infinite scrolling and smart sidebar both. Please help me with this.

2. Is there any way to have this feature without enabling visual composer for posts? Can we use TagDiv composer for this?
3. While trying for many solutions, I looked at a thread which suggested to el_class=”td-ss-row” for this. I tried using it in the above code. Well, though it stopped the overlapping of sidebar with infinite post blocks, it also disables the smart sticky property of Sidebar. What am I missing here?

Don’t need to minify your scripts if you’re using pagespeed module. Disable minification and Rocket Loader from CloudFlare end.
Rocket loader blocks the Javascript by deferring them.
On categroy pages with block 14 there isn’t the problem (for example: https://www.awayfromlife.com/news/)

Issue 1: That is a weird behaviour. Someone will never expect that. If I wanted to change the whole colour of block title, how can I do that. And that is the case with other demos.

Issue 2: Again, this is also not expected from a reputed theme. I wanted to use other smart lists, not list 8. Image is showing a light box even when the modal is off, that is a bug! What if my requirement is to link to an external website?

Hello, I build my homepage with the tagdiv-composer and use block 14. If I hover on the thumbnail or the excerpt of a posting in the loop the block title of the post is getting invisible / white (background is white).
Is there a possibility to change this in the theme panel or is there a css code to change the color so that the block title is getting visible instead invisible?

I am having a major issues with my visual composer in my posts page. I updated plugin to 5.2 and then reverted back to 5.1.1 and was able to see all the block settings, but all my content is overlapping the side bar and images are not sizing correctly or linking, you can view an example at https://eatkb.com/ceviche-bar-mixtura/

Creating a new layout on your home page with same type of blocks does not harm your Google ranking, as with the same content related to topic you cover, there is no difference in what Google “sees” in relation to what your audience happens to be. You can read up on Google’s many documents and forums on that issue.

I’m using Default Post Template Style 1 on my site.
I would like to show the AD Block (Post template style 1) on the right side of the page in stead of the left side (where it shows up by default). And I would like the featured image to show up on the right side of the page (where the ad currently shows up). How can I do that? which files do I need to modify?
Also, I wanna make sure that both the ad block and the featured image fits right next to each other. The ad size I’m currently using is 300×250. What should be the max size of the featured image so that both fit next to each other?
I tried showing up the featured image and the regular image in the image and in both cases I can’t make the ad block to show up in the right side.
Any help with this regards would be greatly appreciated.

In the mobile theme home page, I can see the first 3 articles with large images, then the “Latest Article Section” again starting from the first one. is there a way to setup an offset, like for blocks in tagdiv composer?

The module that this block uses does not display an excerpt for the post content. Not all block modules have this feature.
You could use Block 11 instead, which displays an excerpt when set on one column and is similar to block 7

When using Smart Lists, images can’t be linked to an external link. It just shows the image in a light box. Please check here. http://amazingzoology.com/top-zoology-blogs-students-educators/
First three images a linked to external links and modal is ‘Off’. GENERAL MODAL IMAGE in Theme panel is also ‘Off’.
What may be the issue?

The problem is solved.
Renamed folder with plugin js_composer by FTP.
Downloaded the last package of template updates and installed a plugin js_composer from it.
Activated the new version of js_composer.
Everything works, the blocks have appeared.
I “fixed” it by use duplicate row and make another copy of rows, and delete all unwant blocks

I tried to move my front page to TagDiv Composer

I added the Big Grid, then add a separator, then add Block 1 and change the row to 2/3 + 1/3
It will create a sidebar but it also make the Big Grid become 2/3 row, too
How to create a sidebar without affect Big Grid?
