We updated the theme and included the latest version of Visual Composer, V 4.11.2, which is testes and works fine with WordPress. We released a new theme’s version and now the jQuery conflict it’s fixed, also we included latest Visual Composer’s version which works fine with WordPress 4.5. Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6 and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ clear all caches and test again.

Maybe you activated an incompatible plugin? Please try to deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check again. Let us know how it goes.

Now all theme’s features should work fine with Speed Booster plugin enabled.

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. this could be a plugin conflict. If the problem is still there, please try to create a new video post with no other content besides the video to see if there is no issue with the post itself. HTML tags left open can sometimes create this effect.

Unfortunately, this type of plugin is not tested with our theme and we have no idea about the behaviour of the theme with this type of plugin and also, we cannot say for sure that this will be working fine with our theme, sorry! Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please keep in mind that this plugin can interact with the theme and can cause a lot of unknown issues in the theme and we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

I embedded a link from my own site (Newspaper 6) in a page and it looks great, but the logo shows as w-logo-blue.png.
How can I make that show my image, without just overwriting w-logo-blue.png ?
I tried flushing the cache, but it didn’t help. I don’t see a setting anywhere that references this, and the blue wordpress logo is 80×80 px.

I have tried several things:
– Re-installed wordpress
– Deleted theme + plugins and re-installed them
– Deleted cache
– Etc..
But I can’t get Visual Composer working with the Newsmag theme. It has worked in the past.
I get with F12 this error: Uncaught TypeError: $template.get is not a function
What can I do? I need to upgrade our frontpage (www.biblword.net). This a page is use as a frontpage, and the page is build (long time ago) with visual composer.
Can someone please help me?

@Syambarkah Just replace the old line with new one, clear the cache memory, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer then test again.
@AWAY FROM LIFE make sure you don’t use Speed Booster plugin, also deactivate all others plugins except Visual Composer then test again.
We do our best to solve this issue and an update will be released in shortest time.

This issue it’s caused by a jQuery conflict which affect the theme after latest wp update. We will release a new update in shortest time with all require fixes. Meanwhile leave the lazy load animation inactive or try to add this line of code in tagdiv_theme.js file as a temporary fix: http://screencast.com/t/Ur4jw4L6Z8

You might also try it without any plugins to rule out a plugin conflict. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. Then try to save a post again.

It is possible that this plugin to interfere with the theme and cause this kind of issue for your backend and in this case you have to disable and try to find another alternative in this case.
