Hello!

Please make sure you have the latest update of the theme 11.5.1 and plugins.
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, and try again.

Thank you!

Hi,
Indeed this can be a cache issue if this is resolved only after you clear the cache.
Normally, when a post is published all cache should be cleared and for all devices.
Maybe there are some specific settings that need to be done.
Please check this article will help you: https://www.webnots.com/fix-mobile-responsiveness-issue-with-w3-total-cache-plugin/
Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I clear the cache several time (I’ve W3 Total Cache).

Just when I try to edit the page the problem gone.

If I logged in the website or not, doesn’t have affect on this problem.

And also it looks that this problem it’s only on the homepage. The other pages looks good.

Hello,
I just checked your website and the problem that I saw is that your images/animations are not displayed. But those seems to be provided by a cache. Please be sure that you clear all the cache that you have.
If I understand correctly, when you edit the page in tagDiv Composer, the problem is gone, but, is this problem happening when you are logged in and you check the homepage (not in the theme builder)? Or only when you are not logged?
Thank you!

Hi,

Please make sure you uninstalled the Mobile Theme plugin, clear your cache plugin and see the results.

Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

I’m having a cache issue, I think. When I create a post and go look at it on a mobile device I see this.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgwkd53ydph3rux/screenshot_20220703-171912_facebook.jpg?dl=0

I then need to go into w3 total cache before the post will appear right on mobile. The computer displays correctly.

Hello,

I am facing a lot of problems with mobile pagespeed optimization. The theme is really slowing down my website for mobile devices.

There are a few of the render-blocking resources that show up for mobile devices.
https://snipboard.io/3lzOcC.jpg
https://snipboard.io/bO8SxX.jpg
https://snipboard.io/A0c63T.jpg

My domain is wirefray.com

I would request you to look through all the render-blocking resources, unused CSS and unused JavaScript in PageSpeed Insights, and tell me what I should do to fix them all.

Please note, the result will carry from time to time since I am using a cache and CDN to optimize my website, but these problems do exist.

Regards.

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t think I could explain myself well.

The problem is that this site is loading the desktop home and mobile home pages separately. When I click the save button on the office version, the site loads that both office version and overwrites the mobile version. And when I click the save button on the mobile version, the site loads that version overwrites the office and mobile version. In other words, the website loads one version or another and applies it to all devices, when in fact the website should work with both at the same time, working independently on each device.

In short:

Mobile version -> save button -> applies to this version for all devices

Office version -> save button -> erase previous versions and apply that version to all devices.

We have already reviewed all cache factors. We are using wordpress 6.0 and Newspaper 11.5.1

If you want, I’ll give you access as an administrator so you can login.

Thks!!

Hello!

Here is the link: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Make sure it is not a cache issue because in Composer it is working from what I can see in your video.

Hello!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-speedy-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.

If anyone doesn’t fit as you created, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Note: If you want to use version 1 or 2, then you need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results.

Thank you!

Hello,

I had requested some info on bypassing mobile plugin here

I can do that, but when I do it, the theme breaks that post’s responsive or mobile theme.

Check the mobile version here: https://nasonga.com/e-learning-advantages/

When I completely disable the mobile plugin, it shows fine as expected. I have cleared the cache and disabled all plugins until I identified the problem only happens when I bypass the mobile theme.

Hi,
I can confirm that i am not using WPBakery on the site.
I have deactivated all plugins except tagDiv plugins (you can see in the screenshots below).
I have deactivated WP Super Cache & cleared all cache.
I then uninstalled & reinstalled the Gossip Pro pre-built website.
It is still the same situation.
This time, it also displays the following text below the footer:

y-campaign/” rel=” bookmark” class=”td-image-wrap ” title=”These Fabulous Photos Will Have Astonishing Impact for Any Campaign” >

I note that this is not an issue when viewing the site on a mobile device but shows on a desktop/laptop.

Hello,

Usually, this problem can appear when you are using the WPBakery if you have this plugin enables then please disable it and try again. There may be a conflict between WPBakery and the tagDiv cloud library.
Make sure there is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Please make a test, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you!

Did you clean the cache after that? Check with other devices, sometimes your own browser may still show you the old cached version.

Hi Bettina,

Thank you for your response regarding the mobile theme setting in Gutenberg.

I have one question regarding that mobile theme toggle, should it be toggled on or off when using the mobile theme plugin?

Now, as mentioned in my post, I am using the Mobile Plugin and it is activated. However, my homepage is still showing as the responsive desktop theme (the same theme look as desktop) while my individual posts load in the mobile layout.

So for at least the homepage, the mobile plugin is not overriding the responsive theme.

Please see the screenshots in the original post: mobile homepage not showing up.

There are two images there: one shows the mobile homepage (that shows up as the responsive theme) and the other shows a single post on mobile (that shows up on the mobile plugin theme.)

I’ve tried a bunch of things to get the homepage to show up properly on mobile but thus far, nothing works.

I’ve cleared the cache, removed the cache plugin, deactivated and reactivated the mobile theme plugin, suspended Cloudfare from caching the site, and even rolled back to an earlier version of the Newspaper theme.

The site worked perfectly with mobile and desktop themes both appearing as expected up until last Friday, June 19th, when all of the sudden the mobile homepage started showing the responsive theme.

Any other suggestions?
