Good evening,
as with many, I have a HTTP error when uploading image in worldpress.
After setting a debug.log, error seems to come from the following:
11-Feb-2019 01:26:27 UTC] PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 50
[11-Feb-2019 01:26:27 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: tdc_header_template_id in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 187
Line 50 is :
if ( ! td_util::tdc_is_live_editor_iframe() && ‘tdb_templates’ !== $post->post_type ) {
Line 187 is:
if ( empty( $meta_header_template_content ) && ‘no_header’ !== $tdc_header_template_id ) {
My cosing knowledge are really limited. Any help would be apreciated.
Beside that, I have tryed all of the following to resolve the issue:
*adding these codes above your .htaccess file.
SetEnv MAGICK_THREAD_LIMIT 1
*deactivating all plugin
*deleting and reinstalling my newspaper theme
*changing maximum in PHPfile
*changing name of image file
*tring different web browser
*emptying cache
Also, the isssue does not present itself if I activate another theme but reappear when I activate newspaper again
Thank you for your time and help
Hi,
I bought newspapaer theme last week. Despite I did all things like https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/, I didnot speed up my website. Especially, It is so slow on mobile. finally, I added Litespeed Cache. But my website is still so slow(LScache gave best result than super cache.) Pageinsight and gtmetrix scores are so slow.
Please, tell me more what I can do. My previous theme’s speed was better than newspaper theme’s speed.
Thanks.
Hello you will not be able to see my site as I have rolled the theme out to my staging site. All of my featured images are showing in post editor but nothing shows when viewing a post. I am also unable to see any thumbnail images at all. I have tried to regenerate thumbs and this doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve tried clearing my browser cache, different browsers, I even tried a different computer with a completely different OS just make sure it wasn’t some funky browser thing. Any ideas?

Hi,
“I try to explain when I access by google search (with amp detected because I see the icon with AMP) the first access is with AMP but if I navegate (the next redirection) appears as normal. ”
– Yes, this is normal AMP behavior. Google developed the amp pages as a starting point for a user coming from their search page. Meaning: a user searches for something on google and they enter a page from the search results. They felt that they needed to give mobile users a faster result of that page because when a user clicks on a search result they should see the desired page really fast rather than waiting until the full original website is loaded.
But, if the user tries to navigate further than that specific page they landed on, they will navigate to the original site. Even if they navigate further to a page that also has an amp version… they will still navigate to the original version.
Between you and me, AMP does not use any next generation technology or anything of the sort 🙂 . AMP pages are just stripped down of scripts and animations or any “eye candy” elements that can affect the page’s size/speed. If you think about it, AMP pages actually use old school (simple) html before all the pretty things came into practice 🙂
And they way they work is like this: lets say you search for “list of best best wordpress plugins”… Google shows you the results. Lets say that the first 3 links are AMP pages. Well, even though you did not even click any of them yet…google will still load them in the background of your phone browser, all 3 of them, so that when you actually click on it it will be instant. Thus, for a page to be cached and used in their AMP system they require webmasters to server really thin and stripped down pages for the transfers to be as small as possible. If you use any scripts or anything like that your page will not even qualify as an amp page, they have strict rules for this.
They don’t care if a page is slow for a user when visited directly or navigated. They only care for the landing page a user gets when clicking on a search result 🙂
Did the user get their desired search answer when clicked on a search result in a fraction of a second? Yes? Well then our job is done, should he navigate further on that site on other pages that have no relations to our search result ..that is their problem 🙂
I went a bit on the topic 🙂 In short answer to your question , yes this is exactly how google intended to be with amp pages. It’s normal behaviour.
“And… another question… I have more 1000 posts wrote. Only appears with amp … 70? Is this normal?”
Unfortunately, with google and search results nothing is 100% for sure. They have guidelines but they are always just guides. Notice they always use words like MAY, MIGHT, SHOULD and never use words like WILL.
To quote them from various things:
If you use a custom meta description Google MIGHT use it as the page’s description in the search result, or it MIGHT not.
If you have a page that points to an amp version of it, google MIGHT use it for mobile search results. Then again it might not 🙂
A google engineer actually said once, quote”We know how the search AI should think but most of the times he takes decisions that we do not understand”
So to answer your question, it can take a while until google indexes and updates their search results for your AMP pages. And they also might not show the amp version for any search results but only for specific keywords they feel appropriate.
If you want to be sure that Google sees that page as a valid amp page simply use their validation tool from here: https://search.google.com/test/amp
If this tool says the page is valid without any errors this means it has passed their test and once they feel appropriate they will use it in search results.

1. We deleted WP-Rocket Cache, no work
2. We deleted CloudFlare.com Cache, no work (CDN(
3. We DISABLED BOTH and still NOT work!
HELP!
try delete cache
Just tried that and unfortunately it didn’t solve my problem…
I’ve tried it with just the Newspaper theme and the builder plugin active. Everything else is deactivated and it still does it.
Even cleared all caches, cleaned the database, etc…
I haven’t used Newspaper for quite a while, but installed it on a new site the other day.
While trying to build pages (and insert shortcodes into text), hit the edit content button to bring up the WP Editor. The window pops up, but the gray circle continually spins and never loads.
I’ve deactivated all plugins and it still does it.

Caching plugin
No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache
Hi, Thanks for getting back to me.
After disabling all plugins except the page builder, “CLEAR CACHE” – Here, clear cache means browser cache?
If you mean to say theme cache, please advise me how do I do that as I use to clear cache by another plugin.
Also, by saying DISABLE, you meant deactivate or, deactivate as well as “DELETE”?
Looking forward to your kind response.
Thanks and regards!
Sites: VeteransToday.com (VT), VeteransNewsReport.com (VNR), VeteransTodayArchives.com (VT Archives)
Style 8 NOT working on VT and VNR
We do NOT see image.
Style 8 working on VT Archives
Why? How to resolve?
Newspaper Version: 9.2.2
PHP: 7.1 (ea-php71)
CDN: CloudFlare.com (CF)
Cache Plugin: WP-Rocket
On VT, it works when logged in. It does not work when NOT logged in
Here’s an example
https://www.veteranstoday.com/2019/02/05/extinction-event-our-two-shifting-north-poles/
On VNR, it does not work period; not logged in, logged in, no work both ways!
Here’s an example
https://www.veteransnewsreport.com/2019/01/30/mortgage-100-zero-down-payment-veterans/
TROUBLE SHOOTING ACTIONS TAKEN
We disabled CF and WP-Rocket cache, no work. So that’s ruled out.
We tried to use different images. no work. So that’s ruled out.
We know it worked on VT and VNR about 7 days ago
But now no work
Something changed but we don’t know what or where to look.
We do know that we got a report from our server company for all of our sites that use this template.
Here is an example of what they sent me;
“*Known javascript malware.: https://www.veteranstoday.com/wp-content/cache/min/1/f25d0f298fadac15548aa5218a6380ef.js”
Could that have something to do with it?
Or it is some setting we messed up on theme?
Or something else?
Frustrated!
HELP!
Hello Calin, not using Cloudflare. But I´ve cleaned the cache and seems to be alright. Thank you very much…
Hi,
This is usually from lazy load, please check our documentation for Cloudflare (CDN) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Alsoo please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again, is possible to have some plugins that use lazyload or may it is a plugin conflict
Where you get this error -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tsunB13oKvV ?
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you clear the cache coming from your browser, cache plugin, hosting side cache or cdn server.
Thank you!
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
So you cleared all caches (autoptimize) and also purged the data in the CDN you are using. I suggest that you try and deactivate the autoptimize plugin temporarily, see if that has any effect. There are indeed some layout issues also the images do not load.
I see some CSS classes that do not belong to the theme, tagDiv composer or WPBakery, removing what they add seem to solve the issue in the homepage

How exactly was that page built? let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Ensure that you have installed the latest version of the theme via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you. Provide CPanel access for more investigations.
Thanks for the message!
Hi jamen58rown,
Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for the message!
Hi HIGHLIFE,
Please desirable the view count and and comment count from Newspaper>Theme panel>Post settings>Post and Custom Post Type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/l3ZSllC89f8
After that clear all cache and those will be hide for posts.
Thank you!
Hi,
1)Make sure if you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
2)Please notice that all of your custom modification through the code will be lost to the next update, sorry! The file where you have made this change was overwritten by the latest version of the theme and that’s why it reappears. You can try using the Child Theme.
Thanks.
Hi,
Maybe it is a caching issue. If you use a caching plugin clear the cache. In case the problem remains please post a link to the website so I can take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
Please make a test, deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again; usually this is a plugin conflict.
Also for post YouTube videos, all you need to do is to copy the link and paste it in post, you do not need any plugin for this, also please make sure that you deactivate all plugins that have lazy load.
Please make sure that you set the Cloudflare (CDN) link in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile theme is set to be apply only on device that have the screen between 0 – 767px, when is apply on other device usually are some wrong CDN settings made or cache problem.
Please make sure that you set the Cloudflare (CDN) like in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and you clear all cache.
If there is still some problems, please provide a link to your website were we can inspect this problem.
Thank you for your understanding!
So latest update (9.5) broke my website, the footer is all over my content..
I cleared all caches, checked things out but.. still looks like crap.. Thanks tagdiv..
Clear the cache.
I just updated one of my two sites to 9.5 and none of the feature images show up. https://theopticalvisionsite.com/
They seem to work on my other site however which I updated just minutes previously https://opticalvisionresources.com/
I’ve cleared the cache
I’ve even reuploaded the theme one more time to be sure
Any ideas?
Thank you!
