Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

I use Jetpack and I checked this box. Am I using a CDN right now? If yes, how can i learn my necessary settings for WP Super Cache using Jetpack Free CDN?

You can try other cache plugins but test thoroughly to prevent any compatibility issues (coz the theme developers only tested wp super cache). I use WP fastest cache and it works well with the theme.

Hi.
I also want very much to use popular posts without showing the number of views to each post and without any additional plugin. In fact, I used “popular post for wp” plugin with my previous theme, but from now on with NEWSPAPER I want to keep only the pluggins that are necessary (adrotate, Wp Super Cache etc).

I tried your method to live css
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}

but the post views don’t disappear. (I also enabled AJAX POST VIEW COUNT since I use WP Super Cache).

Any advice?

Here is my site: motorillustrated.com

I have noticed that on the homepage, it takes a day before the latest articles appear in the big box and in the latest news feed (under the galleries section).

I thought it was maybe a caching problem, but when I try to add Wp Super Cache, it tells me it’s unavailable. Could there be a correlation?

Here is a summary of the problem using an exemple.

This article was posted on June 20st: https://motorillustrated.com/2018/06/the-new-2019-volvo-s60-unveiled-this-morning-in-south-carolina/

After it was posted, I could see it in the News section of the site, but I could not see anywhere on the homepage.

After logging in to Wp-Admin, I could see it on the homepage. I could also see it after logging out of wp-admin.

However, when going on another computer or another browser, I no longer saw it unless I logged in.

Then, on the 21st, it appeared on the home page. However, the articles posted on the 21st were not on the homepage. They were in their respective sections however (so if you click News section in menu, then you see article).

Today, the articles for the 21st have appeared, but I can’t see the articles for the 22nd on homepage unless I log in.

In other words, it seems that posted articles appear everywhere except on homepage where they take about a day to appear.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

It seems the css for the button does no apply properly. It could be a plugin influencing the css. Please try to disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hello,

Maybe you had the mobile theme plugin enabled and your cache did not let it get through in some cases. If you do not want the “latest articles” then please disable the mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Try this guide http://www.onlinemediamasters.com/wp-super-cache-settings/ but ignore the cdn part if you don’t use one.

I am trying to optimize the WP Super Cache, your suggested cache plugin according to your suggestions here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
but most of the settings aren’t the same. I think they updated the plugin. How can i make the correct options to work best with newspaper?
