Hello,
If you want to have a clone version of your theme in another language, you should use the WPML plugin. Please check here -> https://wpml.org/forums/topic/change-fonts-by-language
Regarding on this image -> https://www.screencast.com/t/oMCW8LBp5J I guess that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Remove all of these, clear all the caches, press CTRL+SHIFT+R and check the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
It will probably take a while before AMP is detected by Google on your website and cached. Only then will Google serve AMP versions of your post. The best way to test if your posts use AMP is to place /amp after the post URL. Like this demo post

Thanks
Hello TrashTalk,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have a flash on the main menu for the first loading. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2N9GwYEl Is black and then beige color. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, plugins which come bundled with the theme packet, clear all the caches and check the results. If you are using some untested plugins, you should remove all of them to avoid any conflicting plugins. Also, you can take a look at the following topic from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-style-8/ because there you will find some things explained about this behavior.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@meinungsehkraft Please read this topic

@gargus Must be browser cache for you, I see it like this

Clear the browser cache and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
That edit button will be displayed on modules if the user that is currently viewing it is logged and has the right to edit the posts. But in this situation with the cache it seems to not function correctly.
The code that displays this link is in this file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/f2EYmws1n
Removing or commenting that code will remove the edit button.
Hello Ray,
Do you have cleared all the caches, purged CDN files in order to check the final results? If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks.
I have the same problem on lataniezlublina.pl (I am using version 4.4 of counter plugin)
cache of WP Fastest Cache was cleared I even turned it off completly
Try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Also deactivate the composer plugin and reinstall it from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uIIQ0A5Dyx
Check if this has any effect. Try with a different browser as well (clear browser caches). If there is still a problem, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP and also cPanel access if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
I use for testing even an older version of XAMPP with PHP 5.5.19, with these recommended parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Tried the theme panel in Chrome and also Firefox (latest browser versions) there are nor problems with it. It would be unusual that the problem is only happening in Chrome. There was an issue caused by Chrome with the tagDiv composer, a flickering while editing the page. This was fixed however in the latest theme version of the tagDiv composer.
Try clearing the browser cache, check if that has any effect. If it does not, check if there are any errors in the browser inspector console when accessing the ads section

Hello paradise3net,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme and required plugins installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
In almost all cases Instagram related issues are caused by caching plugins and CDN service.
Try to clear your cache and if you use CDN service purge the files. Then check if Instagram displays the latest content. Normally it would update itself every 3 hours. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello caseystubbs,
I have checked your setup page and I saw that you are using the Page Builder+Latest Articles+Pagination as page template which comes automatically by default with the latest articles module which cannot be editable from TD Composer and that’s why your page is blank when you try to customize it with TD COmposer. Any element which you will be added will be placed above of this section. Cannot you use the TD Composer and the elements cannot be drag and dropped? Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newsmag 4.3), the latest version of WordPress and required plugins, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, very important is to check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ If the problem is still there after these changes, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and full FTP access so we can take a closer look at your setup page. Provide there the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Congrats on your theme.
Great work.
I’m managing a medium to high news website (~20k users/day).
We are currently using Cloudflare’s cache everything rule.
We have an issue with the theme because if an author checks the frontpage or any category page when its not cached by Cloudflare, Cloudflare caches the admin version.
The admin version of the page shows an edit button near the top left of the image of the article (on hover).
So this is viewable to the visitors as well.
On the other hand the edit button is not visible to the author/admin if the page is “cached by the visitor first”.
We need the same functionality as “POST SETTINGS” > “Ajax view count (keep counting with cache plugins)” > “ENABLE / DISABLE AJAX POST VIEW COUNT” which works great even with Cloudflare’s cache everything rule so the edit button is loaded after page load via AJAX.
If that not possible at the moment please let me know how to disable Edit button all together(PHP).
I’ve tried to hide with CSS (display:none !important;) but that’s hackish and unsecure solution.
Kind Regards
The Cashe in itself, and in my opinion, WP Rocket is a lot better than the Wp Super Cache …. It’s about the YouTube ifrage should be replaced by a preview image, and there Funktionier neither with WP Rocket nor YouTube Lyte (these plugins both can replace YouTube iframe with preview image). I have a total of 5 different themes in use, with 4 other works fine, I think it’s a pity that it does not work with Neewspapper, as it also brings massive page speed improvement in many YouTube videos.
No CDN and I cleared cache with wpengine. I contacted them and here is the conversation we had. It looks like the code base is different but my stage environment is a copy of production.
WPENGINE:
I apologize for the confusion. Looking at vrfitness, it looks like it’s using td-social-counter. Since clearing the cache did not resolve the issue I ran a check to compare the differences between staging and live. It does look like there are multiple differences . One is related to the td social widget, it appears tha there is code in the widget that is blocking it. It says the following: > // register our widget
> add_action(‘widgets_init’, ‘td_load_widget’);
> function td_load_widget() {
> $td_block_widget = new td_block_widget( ‘td_block_social_counter’ );
> register_widget( $td_block_widget );
11d12
< add_action(‘widgets_init’, create_function(”, ‘return register_widget(“td_block_social_counter_widget”);’));
I would recommend reaching out to the plug-in developer with this information as it appears something within the plugin is actually blocking it. From reading the error, it appears that it’s related to registration of the widget.

That is weird… It’s part of the theme. Why would it work in stag but not prod?

Because the file is different. In live the file /nas/content/staging/vrfitness/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/widget/td_block_social_counter_widget.php
states ” < //register our widget
< class td_block_social_counter_widget extends td_block_widget {
< var $td_block_id = ‘td_block_social_counter’; // change only the block id, the rest is autogenerated”
In staging it says: > // register our widget
> add_action(‘widgets_init’, ‘td_load_widget’);
> function td_load_widget() {
> $td_block_widget = new td_block_widget( ‘td_block_social_counter’ );
> register_widget( $td_block_widget );
11d12
< add_action(‘widgets_init’, create_function(”, ‘return register_widget(“td_block_social_counter_widget”);’));

SO there are additional lines in staging that are allowing the widget to load. As these are code snippets, I wouldn’t be able to alter them. Likely you will need to reach out to a developer, or the theme developer to update the code within this file so that the site will load. As I’m not a developer I can’t say for sure what this code is meant for but due to the contents I believe this is what’s causing it to fail to work on live.
I just deactivated the plugins, cleared cache and it’s same
Hello davidS83,
1)All the frontend settings from the Blocks should works as expected, without any problem. Remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results.
2)Our playlist on sidebar looks like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6mu4hI4J2O0U
If you need more assistance in this case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this conversation so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thank you for the reply
Those were the first steps I tried.
It is woking fine on the original instal which is still live (on chrome/FF)
There are no cache plugins. All plug-ins aside from TD have been removed.
Any other possible ideas? Thanks = CR
Hello NonoLoko,
The latest version of the theme has been fully tested and should works as expected, without any problems. I suggest you make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, clear all the caches and check the results. You should follow the FTP way for theme installing because this is the surest way.
Thanks.
Hi,
We recommend the WP Super Cache plugin, other caching plugins have not been tested. If that is not an option for some reason, other plugins can be used. They may work, work partially depending on configuration, or cause problems. In these cases there is nothing we can do unfortunately.
So if that is what the plugin support mentioned, maybe consider keeping the option disabled to avoid the conflict.
Hi,
That could be related to the browser. Check with a different browser, also clear cookies and cache of the browser as well
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-fix-content-encoding-error/
If you have a caching plugin disable it temporarily and clear the cache, check if this has any effect
Some more topics I found online, there are more suggestions if you want to search for them and keep testing

Do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure it is set up according to tagdiv documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ (this needs to be updated)
Also, do not edit a page which was created with Visual Composer with TD Composer.
Cache Tester
Test your cached website by clicking the test button below.
Note: if you use Cloudflare or other transparent front-end proxy service this test may fail.
If you have Cloudflare minification enabled this plugin may detect differences in the pages and report an error.
Try using the development mode of Cloudflare to perform the test. You can disable development mode afterwards if the test succeeds.

Fetching first copy of http://www.drillingoilandgas.com/: OK (1.html)
Fetching second copy of http://www.drillingoilandgas.com/: OK (2.html)

The pages do not match! Timestamps differ or were not found!
Things you can do:
Load your homepage in a logged out browser, check the timestamp at the end of the html source. Load the page again and compare the timestamp. Caching is working if the timestamps match.
Enable logging on the Debug page here. That should help you track down the problem.
You should check Page 1 and Page 2 above for errors. Your local server configuration may not allow your website to access itself.

I started using the social counters in the Newspaper theme. The Instagram counter is not updating. It’s stuck at 1750 followers. I have 2437. I cleared cache, tried different browsers but it is still not updating. My theme is up to date at 8.7.4. The counter works in my staging environment.
Works:

Does not:

Please advise how to fix.
