Good day! I’m trying to create a children’s theme, but nothing comes out. It looks like I have it on the screen. If you activate it, you will also see the result on the screenshot

Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you use the latest theme version and social counter plugin, there would be no problem with Twitter. With older versions it probably will not work due to changes made by Twitter. Make sure you use the latest theme and plugins and everything should work. Maybe clear your cache and CDN if used.
I could take a look as well, provide a link to your website if possible.
Thanks

Hi,
Indeed, 64M would be insufficient for the theme and plugins. It would depend on your other plugins as well, the bigger the number of plugins the higher the memory consumption. For some users we recommend 256M if possible.
The theme logo should be like this after the update
– https://www.screencast.com/t/murG2ESh
That could be just a browser cache issue, clear the browser cache or test with a different browser. Try to force refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R). Also clear all caches installed and CDN files if you use it.
Thanks
Hi,
So you installed the theme and theme plugins and that notice was displayed. Please re-install it, by FTP would be the most reliable method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-wordpress/
The tagDiv composer should be automatically installed and active as soon as you activate the theme in WordPress themes.
Be sure to check the theme requirements as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
Check if the notice is still displayed. Additionally try as a quick test to deactivate all your other plugins except theme plugins, check if this has any effect. Maybe clear the cache and CDN files if used. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
@tzabula So by selecting one of the imported templates the category now is displayed as empty. Try setting one of the default templates again, see what happens.
Try to deactivate all your plugins as a quick test, test if the category page displays posts. Also clear the cache and also purge CDN files if used. Let us know the results.
Thanks

Hi,
@dmasony The YouTube counter is not configured correctly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Po804KQv8iH
It should be like this, if I am not mistaken about the YouTube channel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JeBp4o6P7
channel/UCgclNaDIi9eDgLYbJkWAWgg
Twitter will not work however, there were changes made by them. Try installing this social counter plugin
– http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/td-social-counter.zip
If it still not works, download the latest theme package 8.8 and update the theme and social counter (they should be automatically updated when the theme is updated however).

@lapoloniadelospolacos Same here, try that social counter and see if it works. If not, update the theme and plugins.
Thanks
Hello dmukrecki,
It seems to be a conflicting plugin in your theme. Try to disable all of these, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system, check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
We don’t have cache plugin or CDN service !
Hello,
Please access your cache plugin and cdn server and clear cache and purge the cdn files.
Thank you!
Hello,
No, the amp template should not affect it but there is also the cdn to consider and sometimes the host offers a hosting side cache.
Please use this guide to set the cdn properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and try to disable any cache coming from the host if there is one.
Thank you!
Hello, team! After yesterday’s update in the admin panel in all URLs added the # sign on the screenshot example of the main page. Is that such an innovation? On the pages of the sites there are no such changes, but in the administrative panel itself-there is

Hi
welcome to webdev.
If you mean these:
code.jquery.com (http://code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.4/themes/smoothness...)
pagead2.googlesyndication.com (http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/ads...)
adservice.google.fr (https://adservice.google.fr/adsid/integrator.js?do...)
adservice.google.com (https://adservice.google.com/adsid/integrator.js?d...)
s.w.org (https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2.4/svg/1f641.sv...)
All Google ads have to load off Google’s server (obviously). To fix, turn off your ads, then test.
The emoji will load off the WordPress server if you are using emojis. You can disable that with a function. There is also a weird bug I’ve run into when pasting MS Word docs into the post editor, with some entities like (TM) getting converted to an emoji that ends up loading off the WordPress CDN — but nothing to do with the theme.
I also don’t think that version of jquery is loading from the theme but maybe a plugin of some kind, as normally any element like that would load locally from the site in the theme /js/ folder or whatever.
Generally you should test GDPR with plugins *off* (other than page editor), as the theme cannot control the GDPR policy of any third party plugin that works with another site (e.g,. Jetpack is not part of theme, as one example).
I don’t work here, just a webdev dinosaur since 1994/5.
TIP: turn off all the plugins that didn’t come with the theme, and anything not part of theme; then retest.

Hello,
You will need to update your plugin. Please uninstall and delete the current version you use and install this version:

Thank you!

Download the social counter from here also

We could take a look if there are still problems with Twitter, it should work as it worked in our tests. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login.
Hi,
@Chris The Newspaper theme supports PHP versions up to 7.2 since update 8.7
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AeJXPT1u
So there should be no problem using the theme and theme plugins with the version you intend to. Be sure to use theme version 8.7 or newer with that PHP version. Clear all caches, CDN as well if used, also browser caches could create visual problems.
The theme requirements are mentioned here, check if the system status is configured correctly

Hello yashdeepsahni,
Maybe your images are stuck in opacity 0. This usually happens on a js error caused by plugins or customization or other external optimization tools. Please disable all plugins except visual composer or TD Composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functioning of the theme.

Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Yoast is a tested and recommended plugin to use with our theme so chances are it is another plugin that conflicts with yoast that causes the issue.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder and yoast, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check again to see if the issue is still there.
Thank you!
Hello,
The blue curtain is the mobile background. This is most likely your cdn not being configured properly and using rocket loader. Please read this guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
