Hi,
In case you see shortcodes on your website when you are logged in, then some theme plugins are not installed. Have you checked whether the theme plugins are installed and activated? The same theme plugins that you had before the theme update should also be updated and enabled. Those can be installed from the newspaper > plugins. You need to have tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and for old templates, you’ll need tagDiv Standard Pack plugins (those are the most used theme plugins).
Thank you!

Hi tagDiv Team,

I am using Newspaper theme v12.7.4 on my live site:

https://odishajobsdesk.in

Hosting: Hostinger Shared Hosting
WordPress Version: 6.9
PHP Version tested:
– PHP 8.2.27 (default)
– PHP 8.1.31 (downgraded)

Problem:
As soon as I activate the plugin “tagDiv Composer” (td-composer), WordPress admin AJAX breaks.

When I open:

https://odishajobsdesk.in/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Instead of returning “0”, it shows wp_booster errors like:

– The tdc_state::$is_live_editor_ajax is NOT set
– wp_booster error: component with ID tds_util is not set
– Missing parameter: file
File paths:
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_autoload_classes.php

Effects:
– Newspaper panel shows “Ajax error” for Composer and Cloud Library
– Plugin installer fails
– WordPress login shows:
“Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output”
– Dashboard becomes unstable until td-composer is disabled

If I rename td-composer folder, admin-ajax.php returns normal “0” again.

Request:
Please provide the latest PHP 8.1/8.2 compatible td-composer build or advise the correct plugin/theme version combination for Newspaper 12.7.4.

Thank you.

Hi,
What I recommend is to use the cloud templates, which can be edited using TagDiv Composer and you can also use custom fields on them.
In your screenshot, you have the old template, those cna be edited only in files, but can be set in a child theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you!

Subject: Post published in Dashboard but not appearing on the live website – ashkelonnow.co.il

Message:

Hello tagDiv Support Team,

I am using the Newspaper PRO theme for my news website and I am facing an issue where new posts are not appearing on the live site after being published.

Site Details:

Domain: https://ashkelonnow.co.il

Contact Email: 247elad@gmail.com

Hosting: Hostinger (hPanel)

The Issue: I have successfully published a post via the WordPress dashboard, but it does not show up on the homepage or the category pages when viewing the site as a visitor.

Steps I have already taken:

Cache Clearing: I have cleared the cache via Hostinger hPanel (“Purge Cache”) and used the LiteSpeed Cache “Purge All” tool.

LiteSpeed Settings: My LiteSpeed settings are configured to “Auto Purge” all pages, including the Front Page, upon publishing/updating a post.

Theme Settings: I am using the TagDiv Composer for my layout. I have checked the “Flex Block” filters to ensure no specific categories are blocking the new post.

Could you please assist me in identifying why the live site is not updating? Is there a specific setting within the TagDiv Cloud Library templates or Theme Panel that I might have missed?

Thank you for your help, Elad

Hi,
This can be done by using the tagdiv Composer and the social icon element, which provides the option to add a link and an icon for an extra social. This element can be set using tagDiv Composer on all cloud templates (header, footer, posts …) and pages – https://prnt.sc/AgINguyn82Oohttps://prnt.sc/XE412qXOwOeI

Same here.
My TagDiv cloud library plugin keeps getting disabled.

I get the message:
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper: tagDiv Cloud Library

Hi,

I have installed the module “Module Template – APP Listing – 2 – APP Find PRO” and am tring to use it in one of the pages of “Free News”. But still I am getting the error Requires Module Module Template – APP Listings – 2 from App Find PRO Demo. Before importing this template on your website, make sure to install it from your Admin Dashboard > Cloud Templates. Go to the Modules tab. Click on the plus icon and search for it using the tagDiv Cloud Library. After installing it, you can use any templates that requires it.

I understand. Please use the code from here https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/tdb_state_category.zip you need to unzip the file and replace the file from the path wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/category/tdb_state_category.php
Before this, make sure you have a full backup.

Hi,
This depends on the code you have set in the MU plugin. It’s possible that the code behaves differently with a standard WordPress theme compared to our theme.
Please try a test by disabling all theme plugins and check whether the behavior is the same when using our theme. If it is, this means that one of the theme plugins is overriding the theme code most likely tagDiv Composer or tagDiv Cloud Library.
If this is JavaScript code, you can add it directly in the theme from this section:

Site: https://przystanekplanszowka.pl/
Newspaper version: 12.7.4
PHP version 8.4

Hello,

I have a problem with displaying pages that contain reviews as well as category pages related to reviews on my WordPress website.
On review posts and review category pages, PHP warnings are displayed instead of the page content. The warnings look like this:

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in
/home/przysta2/domains/przystanekplanszowka.pl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_review.php on line 149
Example: https://przystanekplanszowka.pl/category/recenzje/page/2
Additionally, directly inside single articles, the following warnings appear:

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in
/home/przysta2/domains/przystanekplanszowka.pl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/single/tdb_state_single.php on line 3739

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in
/home/przysta2/domains/przystanekplanszowka.pl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_review_overall.php on line 312

(The last warning appears twice.)
Example: https://przystanekplanszowka.pl/2019/04/dochodzenie-jeden-morderca-i-sledztwo-w-toku.html
The issue only affects pages that use the review functionality. Other pages work correctly.

Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how I can fix it?
Is this related to PHP version compatibility or the review module configuration?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,
Przystanek Planszówka

Dear Calin,

May I current Global settings, duplicate with a new name, for example, “Category template – Znew”, then customize it and use it for the Category Cloud Library Template, as you advised me?

Thank you

Hi,
In case you want to have this functionality https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_podcasts/ then you need to use audio formats for your articles, set the links for audio, and the featured image will be transformed into audio. Also, on your websites, you should use flex blocks to have the audio icon displayed. https://i.imgur.com/zceMuk7.png
Also, you can import from cloud the blocks you like for audio and video format and just adjust them using tagDiv Composer.
Also, for the single post template, make sure that you are using the Single Featured image, not the background one.
Thank you!

Hi
In following
I wonder why i have different fonts while i am using draft vs published ?
For example, #1 image is draft, i like the look but in published version its another font.

View post on imgur.com

Also, when i try to use any of Cloud templates, in preview there is one styling but when i import in my web all is messed up.
Since i do have your theme for a few years now i wonder if i can somewhere ‘reset’ all fonts and select overall look for headings and paragraphs or every block should have their own settings? Which in case of importing cloud – is not working at my web ?

I did check https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ so here is breakdown and correct me if i am wrong:

At this moment we have
– website manager with “Global fonts” [ if i import multiple various blocks all those fonts should appear here when having them on one page ]
– we have fonts for each block individually [when i click particular block it shows in sidebar]
– and last we have Theme fonts in settings

Whats puzzling here is what is priority of usage? What is purpose of theme panel if for example i set VERDANA font there and when i import anything it will be overridden ?
If i disable google fonts there, and your block is using them – why do i see different fonts instead of default one ?

Basically what i want [ here is my plan, correct me if i am wrong ]
– i would like to combine multiple blocks from your library
– blocks should be imported with styles you made them
– i will have to use Website manager > global fonts for changes of all visible styles there

Is this correct flow ? And again, why does preview shows differently ?

Still, I believe the issue lies elsewhere. I use WP Rocket across all my projects — including several websites built with the Newspaper theme — and I’ve never encountered this problem before. So I don’t think WP Rocket is the cause.

What I’ve noticed is that these extra CSS elements don’t appear everywhere — only in modules taken from the Cloud Library. On a test site, I replaced the footer with one from a different demo layout, and the issue was gone.

This leads me to conclude that the problem is specifically related to the ECHOVERSE demo.

Hi,
The reported “vulnerability in tagDiv Cloud Library 3.9” does not apply to our setup. The current installed version is 3.9.2, and as shown in the Patchstack reports, the issue has already been fixed.
However, because the plugin version string includes the text “| built on 12.01.2026 14:31”, some security scanning tools are not interpreting the version number correctly and are flagging it incorrectly.
A theme update will be released soon that removes this extra text from the version field and places it in the description instead, which should resolve the false positives.
If you would like to test this now, an RC version is available under Newspaper → Updates (click Check Updates and look for the RC version). Please ensure this is tested on a staging environment, not on the live site.
Thank you.

Hi,
Unfortunately, we do not have a pre-made single post template that looks similar to this one https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11695-020-05197-6, but this can be created using the tagDiv Composer and a single post template.
If you want, you can import an existing template and just make the edits to it.

Calin
tagDiv Staff

Hi,
You have a single post template from the cloud, so the edits must be done using the tagDiv Composer on the post template, select the ad box element from the sidebar and check the banner from the image ad tab.
Thank you!

Calin

Hi,
The related article should be adjusted based on the kind of template you are using. If it is an old template will be used the theme panel settings https://i.imgur.com/teB4jGU.png, but since most of users have now cloud templates, those cna be edited using tagDiv Composer like this – https://i.imgur.com/ogCXYOJ.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/KVBWAcR.png https://i.imgur.com/A3p0BYc.png

Hi,

I am using the Momentum prebuild but needed some functionality from Coach Pro for courses so I downloaded the Coach plugin. However, I am having a similar issue to https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/coaching-pro-single-course-featured-video/ where the Course CPT entry or its taxonomies do not appear in ACF but the course field groups do. As a result I can’t get the Course domain taxonomy archives to list their associated courses.

This is the message that shows where the course list should have been on the Domain archives:
Flex Loop Builder: The Cloud Library Module Template set for this block is not valid or it no longer exists. Please select another Module Template.

Can you please point me to the JSON file to import to resolve? Or if there are alternate steps required, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi nearview,
There is a fix for this, but I do not know why it has not been added in the theme update, but I will provide it here for you https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/tdb_state_category.zip you need to unzip the file and replace the file from the path wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/category/tdb_state_category.php
First, I will suggest using a staging to do the test and not directly on the main site. Also, make sure you have a backup before doing any changes.

Hi,
That’s correct. This is code that will be rendered by tagDiv Composer and the Cloud Library, so it won’t appear in the WordPress editor as it does on the frontend and theme builder when you edit it.

Hi Janan,
This was fixed and is present only in versions smaller than 3.9.2, which is the current plugin version in Newspaper 12.7.3 – https://i.imgur.com/0flN6ED.png
https://vdp.patchstack.com/database/wordpress/plugin/td-cloud-library/vulnerability/wordpress-tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin-3-9-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability.
We are also working on a new theme update that we hope will be released this month.

Hello tagDiv Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am using the **Newspaper theme** with the **latest versions** of WordPress, the theme, and the **tagDiv Cloud Library** plugin. However, my WordPress dashboard is still showing a **security/vulnerability warning** for the tagDiv Cloud Library.

In my case, the plugin is required because my **mobile header and footer are created using Cloud Library templates**, so I cannot deactivate it.

Could you please confirm:

1. Whether this vulnerability warning is a **false positive or low-risk issue**
2. If a fix or update is planned to address this warning
3. If there are any **recommended security precautions** we should take in the meantime

For reference, I am also using **Wordfence Security with Firewall and 2FA enabled**.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to your guidance.

Best regards,
Janan
