Something is really wrong on this “Free News theme”. I have Kinsta server and Cloudflare. I build websites with other themes every month. Its something wrong in the code, but cant figure out what. Its super slow.

we try to create for many times, but… It’s quite annoying
we have 2 problems:
1. Displaying the desired template that we created in the Cloud Template in the Single post section
– we inserted the Smart list element
Currently: the part of the post related to the smart list element is not displayed as we created it (primarily fonts) https://imgur.com/dalf9ti
2. Displaying the description within the Smart List:
whatever smart list we choose (from cloud template or from theme), the titles and photos are displayed, but not the description. https://imgur.com/undefined
What we do to try to display correct Smart List:
– create smart list template in single post template section on Cloud
– change Titles form H3 to H2, and vice versa
Result: not good
Also, it is not clear to me how the theme registers the marking of a Smart post during editing.
It is not clear to me how the theme registers the marking of a Smart post during editing. Regardless of the fact that we created a Smart List Cloud template, the theme allows the Cloud template https://imgur.com/tWFCPDq as well as the standard smart list https://imgur.com/N6lirBl to be marked.
We have tried everything, but I have no idea what to do so that the smart list is displayed correctly.

Hi everyone I use NewsPaper theme and currently unable to use Cloud Library because each time I activate it my website goes errors, like 503, 502 notification. Therefore the plugin is disabled, now for the look of the web I rely on the Theme Panel, and in the Homepage area I don’t see any module or block for magazine or news related website like mine, but the module is available for category, the module I am talking about is.

Please don’t advise me to use Cloud Library Plugin because I can’t each time the plugin is activated my website errors. So how to delete and use the header from Theme Panel.
So I can’t have logo and header without Cloud Library and without Composer?

Unfortunately, no. You can only use cloud templates that are fully editable with the tagdiv Composer, and they need the Cloud Library plugin as well.

We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options. We no longer recommend using AMP because it is deprecated https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
This is a known issue and the opt-in builder is fully updated.

Added a new header and footer design to the website, and the content from TagDiv pages content area no longer appears. This did not occur when I tested in our dev environment. Using Newspaper 12.6.6.
When editing page, message states “This type of header is not editable with tagDiv Composer. Please use a cloud header template!”

No. You should use cloud templates. In No preloading option, the theme will make an Ajax request on each click on a filter. After the request is made, the theme is using a browser cache to store the result and not make an additional request for the same resource until the page is reloaded.

Hello, is there any option to do that for default menu, i.e the one that comes with the theme, without using cloud/PRO templates? we would much rather stay with our current one.
Also isn’t this actually a bug? The resources you have linked state that with ‘No preloading’ option turned on, it shouldnt fetch anything without user interaction yet it loads everything from the get-go, no matter which option is picked

Hi,
I recently purchased the Newspaper theme to create a digital magazine in Arabic, considering its full RTL support.
Unfortunately, many RTL details aren’t supported, and I’m forced to write custom CSS to temporarily fix issues, which may slow down the site since this isn’t a permanent solution.
I know there are some ready-made templates for Arabic, but they also have issues. Additionally, when using the Cloud Library, I can’t customize all details to support RTL.
My biggest issue is the inability to create a Full Width template when using some pre-made blocks, as I can’t find an easy option to make any row full screen. Is there a solution for this? How can this process be made easier?

1. I installed the Journal premade website but it seems that I can’t edit the header (It says that I need to download a cloud template). Is there anyway to edit it anyway ?
2. I downloaded some cloud templates but there is some kind of code on the right side of it that make it unusable.

Thank you for your quick response.
When I try to edit that I get a message saying ‘This type of footer is not editable with tagDiv Composer. Please use a cloud footer template!’
The email address next to the word ‘Contact’ is there but it is the same color as the background.
I have a screenshot but can’t find where to add it on this Forum.

It’s NOT listed under General in the Cloud Templates. It’s only in the pull down menu under Categories in the Navigational panel.
