Hello !
1. You will have to activate your tagDiv Plugins and is a MUST to keep your tagDiv Composer activated and updated all the time.
2. After you do step 1 you will be able to edit the sub-footer like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ea72hCodqzVF
Thank you !
Hi,
That may happen if the composer is not active. After a theme update please update the theme plugins as well. You can do that in the theme plugins panel, there will be update buttons for each of them – http://prntscr.com/nwzuaz
Then the shortcodes will be displayed as elements.
From what I can see you restored a backup maybe, an older theme version is installed from what I can see.
Thanks
Hi,
That is the latest articles section, it will always appear at the bottom of the page when the required page template is used – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
It’s settings are here in the composer – http://prntscr.com/nwzs8g
Or here in the backend – http://prntscr.com/nwzsn3
If you don’t want the latest articles section on the page, select a different page template, for example the default one.
Thanks
Hi,
If you do not want to have a sidebar you need to set in sidebar position no sidebar -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pM7RzadpCE or you can import a single post template without sidebar from tagDiv Cloud Library and set it in theme panel.
Also the pages have set the sidebar using tagDiv Composer .
Thank you!
Hi,
There would be two ways. The better may to do it is to import the fast news header from the cloud library – http://prntscr.com/nwzjdd
Then in the composer while editing it change the colors – http://prntscr.com/nwzkaq
Once you configure it as you want, set it as the global header template
– http://prntscr.com/nwzlis
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
In child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
Also having both composers activate ( tagDiv Composer and WPBakery ) there appear some issues ( the usually issue is the single image, but there are others too ).
We’ll try to fix this as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi,
That may happen, sorry again for the inconvenience. From what I know there was no progress in this matter up to this point. You could remove the og image the theme generates from this composer file
– http://prntscr.com/nwz5de
Thanks
How do I hide en element in Visual Composer? I read in an older topic it’s probably because of tagdiv composer and there will be a fix. But it seems the problem still persists? How do I hide elements on Visual Composer now that tagdiv composer is compulsary?
Hi,
Across the entire website is not quite possible. In a page built with the tagDiv composer, if you want to display one of your widget sidebars, you can use the widget sidebar element – http://prntscr.com/nwydjf
Place it where you want it and set it to display from the available sidebars
– http://prntscr.com/nwye0m
This is how you can display a widget sidebar in a page.
For category pages you can set a category for each one in the theme panel, this can be done in the per category settings in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/nwyfnl
Posts will inherit the sidebar from their primary category by default
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
Unless you set one manually for each post in the post edit screen
– http://prntscr.com/nwygcp
If you have more questions, please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Most of the theme files were moved into the tagDiv composer plugin as per the requirements of Envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements. We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ Now, all the theme core files can be found in the TD Composer plugin. Please check the following path from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bDD0JE16Di
Hope this helps!
Thank you!
>>Indeed the single post share have an issue, in tagDiv Composer the text is not hidden if you check the box, we’ll try to fix this issue for the coming update.
Well, it works despite pretending not to, so that’s ok. 🙂
>>The additional text from single post date is set to work only with time ago option.
It would be really nice to allow showing the text also before the date.

Hi,
Indeed the single post share have an issue, in tagDiv Composer the text is not hide if you check the box, we’ll try to fix this issue for the coming update.
The additional text from single post date is set to work only with time ago option.

Hi,
Please deactivate the WPBakery and child theme ( if you are using child theme ), clear all cache and try again.
Also please notice that the default post template can not be edit using tagDiv Compose, only the templates from tagDiv Cloud library can be edit/build using the tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!

I have confirmed that TagDiv Composer 2.4 is causing this problem. When it’s enabled, the title tags disappear from the page code. When disabled the title tags appear again (though, of course, the look of the site breaks).
This is consistent and repeatable and not dependent on whether other plugins are enabled or disabled.
Hi,
The Newsmag theme update brings a change for the customers that use WP Bakery Page Builder with our Theme: – When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newsmag theme functionality you’ve previously used. Otherwise, you will have basic WordPress functionality, complying with Envato WordPress Requirements – https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements Please note that activating the tagDiv Composer doesn’t mean that you are required to use our custom page builder on your website. You can use the WP Bakery page builder as you did before the update.
We recommended you to do not use the tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery page builders on the same page, because you cannot edit with WP Baker blocks and shortcodes created with tagDiv Composer or vice-versa. Please make a backup for your website before updating.

Hi,
The latest theme version has no know vulnerability, when there were any in previous versions they were fixed as quickly as possible, in updates. From what I know there weren’t any similar reports after he release of 9.7.3.
Cloudflare’s under attack mode should be used in case of attacks, but this would not be related to out composer plugin. Maybe there really was an attack on the website, you could check logs if there are any, or scan the website, database etc. Or maybe the website went down because of a different issue, you could check server logs as well.
Thanks
WP Version 5.1.1
When activated TagDiv Composer prevents WP Bakery from showing anything in its dialog boxes. When deactivated it breaks the appearance of the site.
When TagDiv composer is activated you cannot enter or change any data in WP Bakery’s dialog boxes because they are blank. When you turn off TagDiv Composer, WP Bakery works just like it should.
On the previous version, 9.7.2, I could just leave TagDiv Composer deactivated and WP Bakery worked fine, and the site displayed fine. But with 9.7.3 when I disable TagDiv Composer, the block elements built into Newspaper don’t display and images are not sized correctly.
The result is that in order to be able to update my pages and posts that were built with WP Bakery I have to disable TagDiv Composer thus breaking the appearance of the site for visitors.
I have deleted and reinstalled TagDiv Composer as suggested in another thread. I have disabled all plugins as suggested in another thread. TagDiv composer either breaks WP Bakery on the backend when activated, or breaks the look of the site on the front end when deactivated. This is consistent and repeatable.
Please advise. Happy to provide you with login credentials if you would like to see for yourselves. eewc.com Just let me know how to provide them.
Thank you.

Hi,
@FlorentDevos A page won’t appear in the breadcrumbs as an actual category page would. But if you want specific elements to be displayed in the category pages, that is possible since you can build them with the composer. They can contain the elements you mention above.
You can create templates for each category and set them, for example start from a blank template and add only what you want in it – http://prntscr.com/nww5xs
If I misunderstand please let me know.
Thanks

I recently updated my theme to 9.7.3 and all the respective plugins, and suddenly AMP stopped working. I use the mobile theme as AMP. I removed all the plugins except AMP, tagdiv Mobile and tagdiv Composer and yet I was getting the same issue. I use Nginx cache and I cleared it every time before testing.
I think the issue is in tagdiv Composer plugin as Mobile theme is working fine without issues.
Also when I disable Mobile Theme, default AMP pages from the plugin are working without any issues.
Please check.

I am running into the same problem. Title tags seem to be missing on all frontend pages after updating to 9.7.3. WordPress 5.1.1 (I’m on a managed hosting platform that doesn’t let me do WordPress updates, they push them through when they are comfortable with them).
SEO site audit reports no title tags, and if you look at the page source you can confirm they are not there. https://eewc.com This is on the frontend only. The backend (dashboard etc…) pages show the title just fine, and do contain the title tag.
I disabled all plugins except TagDiv ones and it had no effect on whether or not the title tag appears in the code.
Please advise ASAP. Don’t want the search engine placement I’ve worked so hard to get to be messed up! I really don’t want to revert to the previous version because then I have to mess with installing that image patch for Visual Composer again.
Thank you,
Le
Hi,
When that error is displayed it usually happens because the cloud server has a temporary issue or the wp_memory_limit is to low. This is under investigation and we will try to identify what is causing it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please make sure that all the settings are as in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Pelase check in special the wp_memory_limit
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

I created the post below on Saturday but yet to get any response from you.
Please, I need to deliver the job before Friday.

What is the way out?
