I built the site with Visual Composer and am using latest versions of Newspaper 9 (as far as I know, I keep getting notifications that you have updated 9 but my site says I have updated versions of it and the latest WordPress version.
The buttons are missing, they were there, I tried using tagdiv composer but it broke the css? of the image blocks in the VC layouts.

I’m sorry, I used to solve my problemes alone, but i’ve no ideas concerning some features with the TD composer, and perhaps i’m not in the right place to put my questions.
I have 2 easy questions :
– First, I tried to filter some post with slide element. To do that, I selected first one category in “caterogy filter”, and I would only several posts in this category, so I put a specific tag slug in “filter by tag slug” too, corresponding at a tag assigned to these posts. Despite theses option setting, no post is displayed. So what ? We can’t assigned several filters in a element on TD composer ?
– Second, still in filter in all elements from TD composer. I want displayed some specifics posts or pages, so I settled filters “Post ID Filter” with ID of theses posts and page. It’s working, nice. BUT I wish to sorted & displayed theses specific posts and pages randomly but isn’t working, posts and pages are displayed in order of given IDs… Is it possible to correct that ?

Is there a way we can just use the visual composer other than the tagdiv?

@wspeed Best to try by shortcode. Since theme update 9.7 the single template files have been moved in the tagDiv composer plugin – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So the post template files could be modified there directly – http://prntscr.com/ngorqf but not in a child theme anymore, because this means they will have to be remade after each update.
By shortcode you could create/import a cloud post template, place a column text in it (in the location where you want the rating to appear) and enter the plugin shortcode in it

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Also please check the php version to be 7-7.2

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If there are still a problem please remove the theme and reinstall the theme via FTP.

Hello, I upgraded 9.7.2.
My homepage is not displayed, only the menu bar is displayed, the content is not displayed, and the admin bar is not displayed.
But I use td composer to edit the home page there are contents are normal.

Although my Newspaper 9 theme is holding the pages together it only shows up the page layout codes when editing, cant build or edit pages, all blocks have disappeared in editor. Text is unavailable in editor also.

Please try to not reply multiple times in your own topic, it will only delay our answer because it will refresh the topic date. We reply from oldest to newest.
When a theme is updated, the theme package will contain the latest versions for all the theme plugins. So if you use the latest theme, this will use the latest plugins. On themeforest always the latest version of the theme will be available for download.
If you are having problems with the mobile theme, please explain in more details what is happening.
Regarding the grid you mention in the screenshot, if you want to customize it edit the page with the tagDiv composer – https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/

Each element that can display posts can display the posts you want, they can be filtered and sorted. Simply click on the element and use the settings in the composer to configure it.

The theme modules are now in the composer plugin, after the theme update 9.7 there were changes to the theme file location – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So now the module files are in the tagDiv composer plugin – http://prntscr.com/ngl60o and the composer has to be activated at all times to maintain the same functionality as before.
If you made this modification to the module in a child theme, this will not work same as before. You could modify the module you want in the composer, but it will have to be made again after each update of the plugin.
However in the theme panel you can set a custom excerpt length for each module

So you could use the settings in the theme panel to set the length you want for module 16. Does this not work for you?

I want to use different header for each page, so i imported some header template from cloud library. I need to modify those template but i can do that using tdcomposer as it showing a blank screen with sidebar, cant able to add any element to that template. Please help me to sort it out. Thanks in advance.
I’ve just found out that the rating shortcode does actually not work. It shows zero, while there is a rating of 3. In addition to that, the composer is probably the worst editor I’ve seen in my life. Gutenberg is top notch compared to this. I guess, I’ll have to quit. Troubleshooting took me at least 4 hours. For nothing!

I’ve added a 3 column row 25% 50% 25%, Row Stretch set to: “Stretch row and 1800px content”, Every slot is a separate Flex Grid 1, column gap set to: 2px, Small grids have bottom padding set to 0px.
