I too upgraded to 8.7. I use both WP Bakery and TD Composer. The site worked fine from the front end, but the entire dashboard was gone… nothing but a white screen. Only by deactivating TD-Composer were we able to get into the back end of the website.
I tried all steps and not working for me. When active td_composer plugin is showed 502 error. always the same thing happens. I rollback for 8.6 version. When fix td_composer plugin i will update this theme.
I put my site in a staging area before doing the update because of all the errors people were having. I updated via ftp and updated all of the plugins with the new update. I am only using TD composer, not the Wp Bakery builder. My front page and menu is not workable – see screenshot.
What are people doing to get their sites working again? What plugins have people figured out is causing a conflict.

Hello, whenever I try to update Newspaper theme from 8.6 I get a critical error concerning “wp_booster” scripts.
I have already tried to remove and re-install the lastest version of TD Booster, TD Composer, TD Multipurpose with zero results.
This update is doomed for me :\
@gooma2 true many people have had this problem since update 8.7 (and 8.6 for some), largely due to the td composer (and now php 7.2 for a few like me).
Open the second block with td composer and under style tab, scroll until you see Pagination. From here, you can select whatever pagination style you want.

Although everything was fine a couple days ago, I noticed today that a couple of my pages are not fully stretched from one side of the screen to the other. I am currently only using TD Composer and used the “Hero” function. This is what my page looks like…

I’m having problems to use TD composer after the update. The text element is not working properly, I put the text and it’s not saving. I tried to deactivate and upload the plugin again, but still not working.

I had your Newsmag theme installed and the TagDiv composer working fine; but I have now also installed Newspaper and activated that theme, and the TagDiv composer is not working properly. I can’t change the column layout on rows now.

When I click on one of the arrows next to layout to try to select another one I get a message at top of screen saying
“Invalid row change detected: this.oldValue:11 and curValue: [object Object]”
Have deactivated all my plugins apart from the TagDiv composer and TagDiv social counter and still get the error. Any ideas for what’s going wrong? Is the plugin different for Newsmag and Newspaper? Perhaps that caused an error and I should delete and reinstall the plugin?
@acko_fon just delete td composer and td multipurpose plugins and replace with those that came with the theme version 8.7 in Newspaper>Plugins. But if it is a php 7.2 problem, then that we have to wait for an answer from tagdiv team.
Delete both the td composer and td multipurpose plugins and install the updated versions that came with the theme. Remember to clear website and browser cache. (Also check if your site uses php 7.2 coz I have seen a similar problem with my site and had to downgrade to php 7.1).
Well, that was a wild ride, but here’s the solution: Had to completely delete the old td-composer from my site and install the new zip in the 8.7 package.
I updated to 8.7 originally from Envato
Delete old tagdiv composer and install the plugin again, but from newspaper-tf (8.7).
Hello, I have problems too. I uploaded the last version of the template trough FTP but when I wan to install the plugins (Newspaper>Plugins>TagDivComposer) the download fails (header not correct)

I doubt there is, But it contains elements that can be found inside the td composer plugin when editing pages.
Yes, there are errors and I am assuming its coz you have not enabled the td composer plugin.
I’m considering to move away from WPBakery (as it seems like it will be discontinued by the developers) and looking for another page-builder.
Playing around with the Tag div composer – but is it right that it only has a few blocks as elements – and that is it?
I’ve used several WPBakery elements like FAQs, buttons, call to action buttons, icon, seperator, tabs, etc.
There is really nothing like this in your page builder as I understand it? So it will be a lot of work – and I’ll need several additional plugins – to replicate the page without WpBakery.
And I read in another thread that other page builders (like Beaver) don’t work with Newspaper? What is the point of that? If you’re going to force everyone to use your page builder – should you not put more effort into making it competitive?
I hope I’m missing something – and your page builder has some opportunities I’ve not seen.

hi, I have all the plugins disabled (I use a copy in staging) I can see the site but not the admin part and “edit with TD Composer”. if I delete the plugin via ftp, I can enter admin

None of my posts are appearing after the theme update [manually updated using FTP]

I replace the Plugin 5 times by the new one but my admin site is still not working…
