Hello,
I’m trying to change from VisualComposer to TagDiv Composer. Though I’ve got two problems:
1. My MacBook 15” seems to have a too small screen as some of the options in the Add Elements column are hidden on the right – and on the left of the screen as well. Do I need to use a bigger screen to use this composer?
2. I can’t save any text block with TagDiv Composer. When I add a text block the WP Editor don’t show any save button at all and no matter what I do my added text can’t be saved. Do you know what’s wrong? I’ve tried disabling ALL plugins, I’ve tried to switch to the main theme (and not use my child theme). But it still doesn’t work as I then get the error message “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init()”.
Do you know what’s wrong?

Just got started with Newsmag and run into a couple of problems with the composer, the main ones being:
– I’m trying to add a title with a text block to the homepage, but I’m unable to save any content. If I click on Edit Content, the content window opens, but it never saves the content, no matter what I do.
– Columns don’t seem to be working at all. Whenever I try to drag & drop a block to the left or to the right, this placement marker shows up but the block doesn’t snap to it or anything. Tried all kinds of blocks, always the same result.
I’m probably missing something or doing something wrong, can you tell me what it is? I’m using the newest version of WordPress, all plugins disabled, tried Chrome and Firefox.
Thanks!
Hello myglobalnews,
1)The Trending Now string can be changed from Translations section in Theme Panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pTqsDppNa
2)If you want to use the Revolution Slider on the page, notice that you can add it from Visual Composer and TD Composer where you want on the page, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/
3)Sorry for this, but notice that our theme does not have any such n option that allows you to place your logo in the middle section, sorry! If you want to achieve this you should implement it yourself because we cannot provide custom services, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
When I remove the header logo through Theme Panel, both the images goes off from the home page. I couldn’t find anything through tagDiv composer.Here’s the link http://www.skincare-anti-aging.com/

Today I updated from 7.8 to Newspaper 8.0 and ran into a lot of problems which costs me a lot of time.
The problems are related to td composer and visual composer.
Followed the guide and instructions but it’s not working properly and is not userfriendly.
After the update there was showing a widget with title contents in my sidebar, strangly though it was not showing as a widget in the customizer.
– Big Grid gets glued to a block when changing row layout.
– When I add a block and want to remove it later I get this error:
Errors happened during tdcIFrameData.TdcLiveView -> customRender!.
– When switching to Visual composer and adding a block to the homepage the block-title is not showing.
Glad I made a backup. I’m switching back to version 7.8.
Such a shame. Never had problems before with template updates.
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. Then we will be able to pinpoint where exactly the image is coming from.
It seems to be in the page content, so try editing the page with the tagDiv composer and check the elements on the page.
Also you could try removing the header logo and see if it removes the second one as well.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes that could be an add-on specific for Visual composer. The list of posts that you mention is not an element available in the Visual composer provided with the theme, so I could not say what exactly is required.
If you have a purchased Visual composer plugin, maybe you can ask the authors for more information about this add-on.
Thanks
Hey Bogdan,
Thank you very much for your reply. I’ve reverted back to Visual Composer version 5.1.1 and resolved the issue with the Block Grid.
I’m still seeing the error with the tagdiv_theme.js
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘top’ of undefined at tagdiv_theme.js?ver=7.8.1:6150”
Is there any way of finding out what this issue is and what it could be connected to? I’ve gone through with troubleshooting with all plugins but can’t seem to find an answer. The error comes up when navigating to any page. https://digitalfox.media
Thank you in advance
Regards,
Bernard
Hi.
I was trying to insert a contact form made with Fast Secure in a page with a template 2/3+1/3 as follow: http://www.screencast.com/t/ftI4HtAtY. Unfortunately, I noted that the spaces between the boxes in the form are bigger than I expected (look at the red arrow). In fact, if I put the same form in a page or post not using Visual Composer, the space is no more so big. Here an exemple http://www.screencast.com/t/okIgkLNysEa. How is it possible? Thanks
As I am recreating my homepage with TDComposer, the option for an inline ad is not coming up in the “Use the Adspot from” dropdown box in the Ad Box.
Hi Bogdan,
I don’t know what is happening, I add one image, but the second one goes directly to the next line, even thumbnails (small size) and I can’t put ir side by side. I just don’t know why.
Did you see the other problem, for some reason the theme is cropping one image.
How is in my page:
https://snag.gy/jxLVt9.jpg
The image as in the visual composer, full size (225×225)

The uploaded size:

Hi, further investigation has lead me to conclude that this is TD Composer related, I don’t get any 500 errors with just Visual Composer enable, when I disable it and enable just TD Composer the 500 error when going from site view to dashboard via dashboard links creates a 500 server error, what’s the best way to resolve this?
Matt
Would this potentially be caused by having both TD Composer and Visual Composer both activated at the same time?
Matt
Actually, on posts such as https://survivalreport.org/resilience/ I get the following error:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token : (index):10
The only active plugins are:
- Contact Form 7
- Tag Div Social Counter
- Tag Div Speed Booster
- WPBakery Visual Composer
WP Rocket is deactivated, browser cache cleared, Cloudflare cache cleared, DNS dlushed, post opened in incognito window.
Kindly let me know if you can offer support. I can’t screw around, if you don’t I’ll gladly buy another theme and try to forget this happened.
Cheers.
Hello sergiocosta,
Please roll back to the 5.1 version of Visual Composer because of the 5.2 version is not yet tested with the theme and might appears some errors. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
I come to the conclusion that this is an addition to the composer, in which case it can not be discussed here. Am I right?
Hello deltreehd,
If you will hover over the option from TD Composer in Block Settings you will see the following option, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QDQWOKgBy77V So, if you will insert the negative Category ID, all of these will be excluded from this block.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please revert the visual composer version to version 5.1.1. We have not yet released the new version and have not yet made the proper implementation for the new version of visual composer. Please read this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/visual-composer-update-21/
If you updated the plugin and edited a page pressing the update button, then that page must be re-created as it will not revert back to the original.
We only recommend using the visual composer provided by us in the theme package, not the one provided by the plugin author as we need to adapt the theme to the new code. Updating without our intervention can cause incompatibilities such as the one you are facing now.
Thanks
Hello awoodhams,
Being a Visual Composer element, notice that you can change the text and color only via such a Custom CSS code and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.vc_tta-title-text{
font-size:14px;
color:red;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CiwcRhNh
Thanks for the message!
Hello andromeda01,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have updated your Visual Composer to 5.2 version, why? Please notice that version of Visual Composer is not yet compatible with our theme and that’s why you have encountered this error. Try to roll back to the 5.1 version of Visual Composer and check the results.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
When i am trying to create a post writing text with editor appears white.
You don’t have visual composer with last version. Now there is version 5.2.
Why is appearing white text?
to solve this problem i am using define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
Thanks for help.
Hi,
Try the suggestion that Chris has provided and manually upload the plugin in the WordPress plugins folder. Unzip the plugin and upload it.

Hi,
Please note that the option to update the Visual composer is not available when using the Visual composer provided in the theme package. I believe that is a possibility only for purchased plugin licence and you update manually, or by automatic update.
We do not include versions of Visual composer that are not properly tested and fully compatible with the theme.
Check the theme system status and see if the WordPress and server parameters are according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could try to reinstall the theme you have currently
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all other plugins as a test, except the known to work Visual composer version. Then check if this has any effect. Please consider making a full backup if you do not have a stable backup already, before trying this.
Thanks
Hello monoazulweb,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme does not recognize any TD or Visual Composer shortcodes and that’s why blocks are not rendered on mobile theme. For more information about this feature, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
