Hi,
Using the tagDiv composer, you can set extra classes to the blocks for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3DtiqKrc5
This way these blocks will be unique an you can target them specifically.
For a particular page you can use the page Id for example. The page Id is display as a class on the body
– https://www.screencast.com/t/NUwbjjc83p
So you can start your custom code with that class, and it will apply only on that page.
Thanks
I have problems whit the composer. When I want to make a new page, I can see only codes and not a graphic quarter.
Before the update to the latest version of Visual composer when I went to my INDEX instead of seeing my regular boxes & layout everything is now in HTML. I have racked my brain trying to figure out how to put it back together. My website is called The Bass Cast please help I have a lot to post & any help would be awesome.
Thank You

It does not work
“Otherwise there will be layout issues that will force you to re-create your pages even if downgrading the plugin back to 5.1.1”
Dear tagdiv team,
Since the last theme update and tagdiv composer, some issues raised up on my website.
1-images are not loading fast as usual.
2-tagdiv carrousel slider is no longer working . See that specific page :

could you please support to fix that issue ?
thanks in advance
Hello,
I ran into this issue:
servedaily.com/distribution
I switched over from the visual composer to the new tagdiv composer and my list went from a list to a paragraphed list that isn’t clear.
How do I fix this?
Hi, just curious about pages on my site other than the homepage that I’ve created using visual composer after upgrading to v. 8 of the theme. I understand that I have to reset the homepage, which I did as a test and was actually quite easy, but what about the rest of the pages on my site? I have four or five that use visual composer; will those all need to be rebuilt as well? Unless I am missing it, there is no way to create something with more than three columns using the tagDivcomposer, which is going to be an issue for me Thanks for any clarification you can provide.
Hi,
There was no problem a few hours ago.
But now when I enter TD Composer I get the following problem: “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!”
Thank you so much in advance.
Regards,
I just went to adjust a page and I cant find the layout blocks I built the site with.
Any ideas?
Hi thanks for your attention, we had not read the notice in the forum until today and by mistake we have updated composer and now we can not make any changes in our blog because we have design problems.
The Composer plugin is the one that incorporates the theme.
How can we solve it?
Quick question: what’s the best way to limit the css to a specific page?
Or, using the css editor inside the TD composer already does that? Asking because I don’t really want all the td_block_x to be affected by a change.
Hi,
If a background color or image is set, then the website will become boxed in order to display the background. At the moment you can only stretch rows in pages using the composer, or the header and footer elements in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Udnjs4zE0c
There is no option to stretch the body itself or container width. All the elements inside a page are directly dependent on the fixed predefined width, modifying it will probably damage the layout and result in problems.
Thanks
Hi,
That should not happen, you should be able to scroll and see all the page building elements. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then deactivate all your other plugins, except the tagDiv composer and clear any installed cache. After this make a test and see if everything is working as it should regarding the composer.
Please let us know if you still have problems using the editor.
Thanks
The ‘Block 6’ is being used on the frontpage with Visual Composer. Four articles are shown in here. After I’ve published one article on my Chromebook, three of them had 25 words and one of them 40. In the article published on the Chromebook, sentences also break off like described in my previous message, without any code in de text editor to make sense out of it. The frontpage setup is fully setup according to your documentation and based on one of the installed demo’s.
when I open add element section and scrolling for more blocks/grids it did not scroll down.
Hi,
All the elements on the page can be customized. Simply edit your page with the tagDiv composer and make the required modifications. There you change the block titles
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0OGvpHHjg1
And also choose from many filtering and sorting options, in regards to what posts the block will display

Hello,
For pages you can use the tagdiv composer and stretch the row + content like so:
https://www.screencast.com/t/p48JYdJ1pUfY
This will only work if you do not have a background image or color though.
Thank you!
Hi,
Content for pages when using the mobile theme plugin, is limited to the mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CgYseBYvafj
This section appears in the page edit screen when the mobile theme is active.
For performance factors and speed, the mobile theme will not display composer elements and shortcodes. That may be why the pages are empty.
Please note that the mobile plugin is optional, if you want the same content from desktop to display on mobile devices simply deactivate it. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt to all devices.
Here you can find more information about the mobile theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
Try disabling the tagDiv composer plugin. This editor is activated by default the moment you update the theme to the latest version. Is some cases it can interfere with some elements of Visual composer.
The image should display as intended after you disable the tagDiv composer. Maybe clear your cache afterwards.
Thanks
Hi! I notice that when I use one of the blocks in Visual Composer, the page title disappears. For example, here is a page that has no blocks…http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/connect/…the page title “Connect” is still there. But on this page, where I have used a text block, the page title has disappeared…http://e50.4da.myftpupload.com/about/. How can I KEEP the page title while still using the blocks? Thanks!
I cannot do anything using the TD composer, I’m unable to drag any element over to the page. The composer also wont save. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It is not a theme update, this is my first installation of your theme.
I currently use News Tube and it works just fine with Visual Composer.
I purchased Newsmag because I wanted to give the site a new feel and user experience.
Kindly help me look at this issue.
I just read your instructions here;
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/.
When I try to create a new page, the tagDiv composer icon is no where to be found.
Please help, I purchased this theme because I want to use it on the site, previous themes don’t give us issues like this.
Hello Dmitry_Lupich,
Unfortunately, this page has to be updated because these buttons will not work, sorry! All of these was based on Visual Composer plugin which now, is an optional plugin and that’s why the shortcodes will not work. We have implemented our own page builder which is named TD Composer and we have added new tagDiv buttons which can be found in Format section, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/increase-users-engagement-add-custom-buttons-posts/ If you will use them, you will not see the shortcodes and will look better than previous ones.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The Visual composer will work as advertised, if you are using the version provided with the theme, or maybe the same version of a purchased Visual composer editor.
The Visual composer version currently included in the Newspaper theme bundle, is version 5.1.1. This works properly with the theme and there are no problems like the one you mention.
If you are using the same version and have a problem with it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will investigate this issue. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
